Chess epic
This is an amazingly beautiful chess program that’s a lot of fun to play. I learn so much as I play.

the moves across the board
here the moves across the board was jagged. When you select the piece to move, it square can barely be seen for selection. This rendered false moves and advantageous points from were you wanted to go and were you ended up created lost opportunities.
Messed up
I’ve used the app many years. Suddenly it won’t open. I checked the Apple store and found that it had been newly updated. Without my permission, I have always kept automated updates turned off. The issue is it should still run. My iPad operates with IOS 15.8.8 and your app denials says it will work with 15.1 or higher. Can you explain this? It simply will not open now and I did *not want it updated.
2 games so far
Hoping this helps me get better
I dig it
Nuff said
Ginkgo chess engine
This upgrade does not use all the features the engine moves instantaneously and it will not use all the time when it’s set to a long game in time mode.
Mr Wilf Ries
excellent learning instrument !
Hate the new design update
Why mess with the clean design from before. At least give us the option of choosing the previous set of options. Also, why are the moves sooooo slow now (movement of pieces across the board after selection has been made)?

Good game
Great game no issues so far
Ok game, why track users with over 150 bots?
Worst privacy policy ever. Don’t know how Apple have allowed over 150 tracking cookies to be used on this app. What makes it worse is that a significant number are on by default ‘as legitimate purposes’. Well most people don’t want their data mined.
Really good
The play style is great I’ve gotten so much better

Very good all around chess app! Highly recommended!
For someone that loves the game (but hasn’t played in years) this is a near ideal match. It can play at quite an easy level for when you are rusty but, as you get better, it will give you a run for your money. The free app is nice but the paid (one time) is well worth it! Many nice features! You spend more on coffee during a work day. 😉 Highly recommended. The Gingko upgrade is the 2026 World Champion. Well worth the money, especially since current cognitive research indicates that Chess is one of the best things for cognitive health!

Esperienza

I have been loving playing chess since I was a little kid. And of curse I like to play chess in this app.
Super Cool app
I like this app because, since I haven’t played as a little girl, I like being able to review my plays and see where I messed up and being able to strategize better.
Roby
A great chess app
This chess app is awesome. Very challenging but has options to allow you to get better. Awesome game
Ok
Starting game in training mode was ok

This is fun when it makes sense!
This is a beautiful board and so much fun when I can see what to do next. It has taken a while to come back to it as I was struggling to figure out how to end my losing game in the app. The training module is really helpful. I will have to try some more training before trying to play again. Update Sept. 21 ‘25 This is still a beautiful game board.

check mate with great strategy!
the game was educational and refreshing and brought back some much needed nostalgia.
Good for Learning
Easy to use.
Very interesting
I have only played one game so far but my opponent played realistically which is a great feature!

Great app but constant requests for reviews and to many adverts are spoiling it a little that's why only 4 stars

The best!
No issues and love it as always. :)
Forced IOS Update
I will not be forced into updating my IOS for a game of Chess. This app says it will not work on anything less than IOS18. I've had this with other games (some i have paid for) that now no longer work as a result of updating the IOS.
Good, but a little clunky
Excellent value and I love the lack of tiering. Not perfect but it’s an excellent tool to practice the game casually
Çok güzel bir oyun
Tavsiye ederim çok güzel bir oyun yapmışlar
1st game
Very easy to start looking tone a little fun
