Get a new designer for colorful puzzles
OK, first off this is my favorite puzzle app. It's fun to play or it used to be when the designer of the puzzles actually knew what they were doing specifically for the color mix and the fractals. And yeah I have sent comment after comment through the official support line. I've created mock ups that show their old puzzles versus their new ones and how different the use of color is. Apparently those are going nowhere so I'm just gonna leave a one star review for a five star app in the hope that they will get their act together and create new color mix and fractal puzzle so I don't have to keep playing the old ones. Thank goodness you can re-download anything you've bought because otherwise I'd have nothing to play. Come on people, you've got the best puzzle app and the worst colorful puzzles, and that did not used to be true.
Free Monthly Puzzle Size changed?!?!?!
Was curious as to why the size of the puzzles have decreased from 252 pieces down to 208 pieces? I know myself and other players would like to see an increase in the size of the puzzles instead of a decrease! Please rectify this issue!!
App Crashes
What has happened to this app? I’ve already submitted two emails to customer support that this app crashes every time I look at a puzzle in the store. I’ve restarted the app, restarted my device and I have more than enough room on my device to play. I’ve received no response. I once received an immediate response when I contacted customer service. I may need to delete as it is unplayable now.
Great but…….
I love being able to upload my own images to create puzzles but I wish puzzles could be split into more pieces. I usually finish a 252-piece puzzle in less than an hour. It was okay at first but it’s kind of annoying after having done so many. I would like to be able to sit and get cozy with one puzzle for longer an hour.

I have used this jigsaw puzzle app for more than five years and I have been very pleased with it. It is easy to purchase puzzle sets and I really like being able to cut them in different numbers of pieces. thanks great product.

Please fix the weekly deals problem. These puzzles haven’t changed in over 8 months. All you keep saying is there is a problem that needs fixing. Well please fix it.

I like to write reviews for great apps, which is what this is. However, I also am a former language arts teacher, and it is in my nature to see mistakes. In your advertising of sales for April 15, 2024, you have printed Colorful Bumbers #3 on the cover photo. I find things like this a lot (everywhere). Just wanted to let you know in case you didn’t already. My old hometown newspaper used to advertise that they printed something for everyone, even the mistake finders. Sorry/not sorry. Thank you for your continued efforts to make great puzzles! I enjoy many aspects of this app, especially where I can make my own puzzles. A couple of things I’d like to see: 1. Being able to select puzzles for a bundle of my own. I usually enjoy the bundles you have but I’d like to see a place where I could buy puzzles for what…about 10¢ apiece out of a selection that you’ve make available. Throw 100 or so puzzles out there and let us choose our own. I’m pretty sure that I would spend more on those than looking for pictures of my own to make puzzles. 2. Have some puzzles available in portrait or square mode just for variety. 3. Have an option available for changes in the puzzle piece shape. For example, make all of the pieces resemble something or just in a different pattern. (My husband jokes that why do I care what the puzzles look like if all I’m doing is arranging the memorized places for the pieces. Hope that makes sense). See paragraphs below. I haven’t seen or heard anything for a long time. I still think I would spend more money on puzzles (I really like puzzles) if I had a little more say in what goes into the bundle. Puzzle pieces sticking
I have been using this app for a long time and I enjoyed it, but most recently I have a new iPad Air and the puzzle pieces moving up from the tray stick and won’t move until you either close the app or move a piece from the tray over them to dislodge it. Very frustrating. I will still use it for my smaller travel iPad but not for the one I use daily. I have tried to work with the rep to have the problem corrected but she doesn’t seem to be able to fix the problem.

I personally think that this is a great app and I love it there is one thing that I would like to see improved on and that is making the monthly puzzle available all month long, and maybe in December rerun all of the monthly puzzles of that year so that people who missed downloading them can download them now and have the complete set of puzzles for the year.
Overpriced
Unfortunately, the charm of this App is diminished due to the price. Paying 99 cents and much more for any bumper packs as they are called is OTT. Most of the time at least 4 or more are not workable puzzles. Why are they so expensive. Such a shame.

I have loved JigsawBox for years, but in the last few months the free monthly puzzles wouldn’t download. I tried to buy some, and it took my money, but didn’t download. I thought I had too many puzzles on my app, so I deleted a few and tried again to down.old new ones. NADA. So as a last resort, I deleted the app and lost all the puzzles I’d collected over the years. Now I can’t download the Jigsaw Box again. Hung up on a password and I got the message that is used too many tries. Help

Just updated. Nightmare, keeps kicking me out and won't open! Was playing quite happily when it suggested to update, now can't play at all !
Perfect iPad Puzzles!
My only complaint is that settings is per puzzle now, and I'd rather be able to set things like Preview to always show. If I wanna twist & turn puzzle pieces and be frustrated, I'll get a real puzzle. This puzzle is perfect to relax with. I've downloaded a variety of puzzle apps, but this is my fav! And it's the only one, now. When I first got this app, I did mid-range # of pieces and edges, then graduated to the max and no-show edges. I use preview, so it's relaxing for when I want to see a tv program (can't just zombie out on tv). And, I can add my own pics as puzzles. Fun! Great app!
AI Images??
Pretty sure the Christmas Advent calendar consists of (potentially unedited) AI images. There are too many oddities in the pictures, and the mansion puzzles have similar architecture. (The main difference being one’s a regular building and the other’s the gingerbread version of the same building.) Have to admit I was so disappointed in the quality I couldn’t even finish the December 1st puzzle.

I’ve enjoyed this jigsaw puzzle app. Easy to use. There’s a variety of puzzles available to buy and a monthly free set. To the negative, a holiday set was usually offered free, such as Halloween or Valentines Day. That gift is now purchase only. At Christmas there is a daily free puzzle. Unfortunately, it’s the same puzzles for 2-3 or maybe 4 years.
Not working with iPadOS 17.3
I sure hope the developers will try it out and get it fixed.

Shapes to similar
Nice app except that too many pieces share very nearly the exact same shapes. Makes working an area with uniform color more like an exercise in luck rather than skill. Deleted app after one puzzle.
Not downloading since last upgrade

Stopped working
This has been my favorite app on my iPad ever but just today it stopped working. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Shut down my iPad and even loaded a new app because YouTube said it may make this app start working. I am so sad because I can no longer work the puzzles I have in my library. Any suggestions on making my app work again would be so appreciated.

I’ve had this app several years and have bought a LOT of packs. I think the developers got lazy, possibly as the money keeps rolling in. They said they’d do a pack of Tibetan sand tables. What a good idea, they said, never happened. They’ve been saying they’re going to increase the size of the puzzles for at least a couple of years. Never happened. It’s easy to get a set of pictures and just farm them out, or colour them. People new to the app will fork out for them, but what was a loyal fan base (there’s a lot of jigsaw apps out there, they can catch up) can easily lose interest in an app that NEVER changes. Interesting so see if you respond and even more interesting to see if anything gets updated. I suspect not.

Best jigsaw app
I have had this app for years, and it is still my favorite. I thought I would see what new jigsaw apps are out there and downloaded several. None of them are as good as this one. Easy to navigate, no glitches, and it has options that I like such as being able to have the picture of the puzzle in the background and having the border pieces appear to start the puzzle. There’s a free puzzle each month, and the variety in the packs available is extensive.

lovely but occasionally frustrating
i've been using this app for years, and it's even better on my new 10.2" iPad, but i find a few things frustrating. one, sometimes it doesn't seem to recognise when i've put my finger on a piece to drag it. i'll tap and drag only to find i just moved my finger. when this happens, it will sometimes take a few taps to finally be able to move the piece. the other thing which frustrates me is when i try to create my own puzzles. the picture opens completely zoomed in, and i have to very carefully pinch to zoom out. sometimes while i'm doing this, the picture will rotate slightly, and i can almost never get it back in line. a reset rotation button would be useful. it would also help if the picture loaded at a size appropriate to the screen rather than at 100% zoom. overall, i love the app. it's very relaxing, and it's nice to be able to work on a puzzle and know my cats won't knock all the pieces around. :)

The site was updated today--and now it will not open on my iPad! I love this site and visit it daily. I have a large collection of puzzles, and I really want to work them. PLEASE fix this! I contacted the Sparkle apps site and got a prompt reply. The company did another update, and I can work puzzles again. Thanks to Tracie and the staff who fixed the problem. I'm working puzzles again!
Great puzzle app!
Been using this app for several years and absolutely love it. From turning my pictures into puzzles to the free monthly puzzle pack I’ve never had to spend money to enjoy the app and there are no ads to get in the way of my enjoyment. My only suggestion for improvement is to make the tray location changeable. I’d love to be able to put it on the top of the screen when I’m looking down at my ipad on my lap.
It’s not working
The new version looks great until you try to load a puzzle. The puzzle appears too big for the screen and I can only see part of the top left corner. When I put the pieces in the tray they disappear and I can’t get them back again. Pls fix this or roll back to the earlier version. All fixed now and happy again. Love this program.

Hey! Great app, but where are the Christmas puzzles? They were added like an advent calendar to the app each year . Really enjoyed them each Christmas. Hope they’re added soon, miss them:(
Don't waste your money in the app
Bought two additional puzzle packs in the app that never showed up in my library of puzzles. Contacted the support through the app with no response after almost 2 weeks. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP! I will be contacting Apple and PayPal to get my refund and delete the app

I love this app and use it daily, but since the last update, it won't open. Not happy at the moment. Please tell me how I can fix this.
Glitchy
I absolutely ❤️ this app. Great for those of us who are retired and want to keep our mind active. For some reason though I have been experiencing some glitchy behavior on all my iPads. The pieces stall, freeze, become jerky and just stick on the board. Soooo annoying. I’m not using this as much as I have.

I have an iPad Pro 11”. It is my third iPad and for the last few months, the app is freezing when trying to place pieces. A piece will freeze in the puzzle area and won’t move for some time. It is hugely annoying! I have a bazillion of your puzzles that I have purchased and really don’t want to give up on this app or my investment in your puzzles. DEVELOPERS, HELP!
Disappointed
I am very disappointed with the previous update. When you have completed a puzzle you no longer have the choice of doing it again. It seems to be deleted even though you have paid for the puzzle. This is not fair!
Love the app, but....
Since you did the latest update I cannot open the app. I have enjoyed so many puzzles (I have purchased at least 100 packs). I have an older iPad but have not had trouble before. Thanks. If I could open the app, it would totally be five stars. It's a great entertainment, especially when you have time on your hands.
I Love this App!
This is one of the first apps I got on my first iPad, many years ago. I love that I can make the puzzles as simple or as challenging as I want by changing the number of pieces. My favorite thing on this app is the ability to create puzzles of my own photos. I’ve relived vacations and time with friends through puzzles from my photos. Lots of great features, a treasure trove of available puzzles for low-cost purchase. Thanks!

Not using full iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen screen
On my 2018 3rd gen iPad Pro 12.9, the app falls short about a quarter inch of the iPad’s thin bezels. Also, the 252 puzzle pieces look oversized and blurry on same iPad, as if they’ve been blown up when actually they should have been made smaller and more in focus.

$3.99 for a new puzzle pack, I used to think up to $2.50 was bad but this is ridiculous!!

I’ve used this app for a while on my iPad and often buy a reduced pack of puzzles for 0.99. I went to do so on a Wednesday and when it went to the payment confirmation screen it was 1.99 that Apple would charge me. I reported the problem and got an email back saying this had never happened before so I sent a screen shot. The following day the lady replied saying that it was because it was last weeks offer and that they change on Monday so if I hadn’t closed the app or I had slow WiFi (two day slow WiFi!) that’s what had happened. Seems funny that the puzzle pack disappeared right after my first email. I’m disappointed in the email I received as I know it’s not a lot of money but it’s the principle. No offer of having this pack for free or even a thank you for letting them know or an apology!
