Telefonieren in Studioqualität
Hätte mir jemand vor 25 Jahren erzählt, ich könne global ein Mobiltelefon so nutzen wie einen heimischen DECT-Hörer an der Telrefonanlage und das ohne jegliche Mehrkosten, hätte ich wahrscheinlich den Besuch eines Facharztes empfohlen! Zum Glück geht das alles dank der APP und ohne Doc.

Es nervt extrem, dass nach jeder zweiten Aktion in der App die Abfrage zur Bewertung kommt. Egal ob bei FRITZ!App Fon oder bei Smart Home!!!! Es nervt einfach!

Ankommende Anrufe auf mein Handy
Leider sehe ich die Nummer der angerufene Nummern nicht , bei dem alten App konnte ich unter Nachrichten erkennen wer mich angerufen hat so sehr ich garnichts sehr sehr schlecht, ich bin im gewerblichen tätig und muss die Leute zu rück rifen !! Was mache ich jetzt

Leider bricht das Telefonat häufig ab. Das ist nicht im Sinne der Technik.

Laufend abbrüche
Viel Verbesserungspotential, aber ok
Man kann Anrufe annehmen, Nachrichten abhören, auf´s Telefonbuch zugreifen und Anrufe tätigen. Die Interne Rufweiterleitung fehlt aber leider völlig - „mal eben“ weiterstellen is nich. Da mir das wirklich fehlt, nur 3 Sterne.

Tja, hab mir ein iPhone geholt und aufgrund meiner guten Erfahrung installiert. Verkürzt gesagt: enttäuschend. Das schlimmste Problem. Ich höre den Anrufer nicht. Schade!

Manchmal funktioniert es, meist aber nicht. Entweder, die App klingelt weiter, wenn man den Anruf auf einem anderen Gerät längst angenommen hat, oder man nimmt ihn an und die Verbindung kommt nicht zu Stande. Das habe ich leider mit mehreren iPhone und iPad und mit zwei unterschiedlichen FRITZ!Box erlebt. Durch verschiedene Versionen der App.

This is a great alternative to the traditional phone BUT could the iOS app have a badge so I know if I’ve missed a call without having to go into the app every time?
Over complicated
This is not a functional app. Fritz seem to say everything is easy when it is not. Things don’t work as described. Also it is difficult to find further guidance in the web. Overall more hazzle than it is worth. Also the type face is hard to read and is not intuitive or user friendly.

Leider unterbricht die Verbindung von meinem Handy vorübergehend meine Rede. Ich höre den Anrufer aber der hört mich nicht. Nach einer Weile funktionieren wieder beide Richtungen.

Verbindung sehr schlecht, Sprache ständig unterbrochen. Zeitweise können Gespräche nicht angenommen werden.

Immer wieder Probleme mit der Qualität, mal hört man mich am anderen Ende nicht oder nur zerstückelt, mal ist es umgedreht. Immer Neustart des Smartphones oder sogar geboot der FRITZ!Box notwendig.

Die App funktioniert normalerweise recht gut. Das Handy kann wie ein Festnetztelefon verwendet werden. Leider gibt es aber ab und zu Aussetzer und die Gegenseite kann einen nicht hören. D.h., ich kann die angerufene Person hören, sie aber mich nicht.
Simply The Best BUT
Needed some help with setting up for digital voicemail on my mobile. Got the usual superb help from Zen technical, and soon up and running. However if you are a bit slow and aged 81 like me, you tend to need help from speaking to a live human being, rather than chat or explaining what you want in an email. Which magazine are quite right to sing your praises. Too bad that one frequently over several days, one has to wait hours for someone to pick up the phone. Don’t tell me that I can press 1 and get a callback-it just cuts you off altogether. Thank you Zen but you can do better than this Regards Mick Baker
Funktioniert nicht zuverlässig
Hi. Die Idee der App ist super. Aber ganz oft funktioniert es einfach nicht. Da wir keine Fritzfons haben, verpassen wir das Klingeln, was super ärgerlich ist.

Unusable
Zen connectivity is very poor despite calls to their support team and adjustments made. Calls are dropped or break up and this is particularly bad with this app. Dect quality is not much better. WiFi calling is fine on our mobiles and we have a full Fritz Mesh system. We are going to have to drop our landline and rely totally on mobile calling. Ironically the best quality is FaceTime or WhatsApp!
Update 7.2026. Wahlwiederholung
bei IPhone 17 proMax IOS 26.5.2 Schon seit gut einem Jahr besteht folgendes Problem. Bekomme ich einen Anruf von einem Handy? Dann zeigt mir die App 49 und dann die Telefonnummer an also kein + davor oder keine 00 davor, (z.49172….) wenn ich dann auf die Nummer gehe und die dann anrufen möchte. Sag mir die App die, Telefonnummer ist nicht gültig ….ja logisch, es muss lauten +49172…oder 00 49172…,dann muss ich das Ding abschreiben und wieder eingeben. Also lieber Programmierer, bitte sorgt dafür, dass die Nummer die mich angerufen hat, auch so im Display steht und auf Anwählen endlich funktioniert.

Only been using this for a week but loving the quality of sound and all the features of the service, particularly like using my mobile to pickup and make landline calls when at home, still finding new features, but then I’m not particularly tec savvy.
I find all the options very difficult to understand.

Ho da poco un fritz box 4060 e non riesco in nessun modo a far registrare il mio iPhone per poter utilizzare il servizio IP. Per adesso è una delusione.

Fax Missing
The App works perfectly. My wife and I have this on our phones and hardly use the handset anymore. The information about missed calls, etc is perfect. You can also read received faxes direct in the App without having to use the MyFritz! App. It would be nice howevever if AVM would incorporate sending a Fax into this App or the MtFritz! App.
Not fully thought through
I’d avoid going digital if you can. App does not integrate well with phone. If you’re connected to a Bluetooth speaker, the app won’t override that. You’ll have no mic and you’ll hear the other person through the speaker. You’ll lose CLIP on your DECT phones, so you won’t know who’s calling. Friz may do reasonable routers. Call quality also suffers if the router is handling lots of traffic.
Good, but needs transfer function
We’ve just switched to full fibre and VOIP. We’ve still got our old DECT phones in use via a converter in to the router, as the Fon app doesn’t seem to have the ability to transfer a call. If I answer the “landline” using the Fon app on my mobile, but the call is for my wife, I need to be able to transfer it to her mobile so that my own mobile is free for me to use again
No incoming calls
Incoming calls worked at first, but no longer. The app doesn’t ring. I’ve tried unregistering and reregistering with the FritzBox. Still no joy. Outgoing calls work fine.
Apple Watch non funziona da tempo
Aggiornamento 03/2026 Purtroppo vedo che ancora non è stato implementato l’integrazione con Apple Watch come lo era all’inizio con un’unica applicazione. Davvero utile e Smart avere notifiche su Watch all’arrivo delle chiamate. Un vero peccato è un passo indietro. Spero riusciate a ripristinare questa utilissima funzionalità. Grazie. Aggiornamento 05/2025: appena uscita l’applicazione, funzionava benissimo in Apple Watch, perché non la ripristinate? Grazie! Da quando avete separato le app, Apple Watch non notifica più le chiamate! È inutile che dite di cancellare gli apparati registrati e rifare da capo! Basta controllare sulle notifiche di iPhone, non c’è più Fon. Ma non solo a me!!!! A tutti coloro che hanno Apple Watch!!!! Che peccato!!!! E pensare che mi avevate assicurato che a breve sarebbe uscita app x Apple Watch dove si poteva rispondere alle chiamate….. deluso!!!

I cannot hear the other side / contacts not recognised
Since iOS 15 came out, I cannot hear the other side in a phone call. All settings are fine (e.g. access to other devices, microphone, contacts) but the problem persists. Also, it cannot resolve the name for my phone calls despite the fact that my contacts are fully synced and available in the app.
Call Transfer
App works as it should and function well as a softphone. Useful to be able to call it as an extension but to be a really useful part of the telephone system being able to transfer calls would be good. It would be 5 stars if you could do this. Is there a plan to include this function?
Plenty of space for improvement!
Reason for 2 stars is the limited functionality of the app. Basically you can only make phone calls. No fast app switching (app is not running in the background) which means app has to be running to receive phone calls. no download of your call list possible. The list will only show calls you made with your iPhone. No indication of new messages on your answer machine. You have to call **600. Users of the fritz fon know that on these phones you get a message on the display saying you have new messages. Also I would like to see an iPhone like voice mail service rather than the old school 'press one to listen to your messages, press two to save your messages' system. That was so 2000... I understand that AVM wants people to buy their fritz fons for better functionality in conjunction with their fritz boxes but come on, I don't think a proper iPhone app will cannibalize sales of your fritz fon! I actually would use both.

L’app è molto buona, la grafica invece lascia un po’ a desiderare. Inoltre non è possibile scegliere tra aspetto chiaro o scuro a prescindere da quello di sistema. Se l’aspetto di sistema è scuro vorrei poter scegliere se avere una combinazione di colori scura o chiara.

Works a treat with my Annex A 7270 allowing you to make landline call from your iPhone via your home wifi and Fritz Box. Would be nice if it could access your fritzbox address book as well as the iPhone one.

Links into the possibly the worlds best ADSL router, with a combined phone line and answering machine. Is used so that you can make outgoing calls using your landline from your iPhone. Would be even better if app was in English :-) No use if you don't have a fritzbox router.

I like being able to make landline calls via my mobile. I can’t find anyway to delete calls from the call list. Am I missing this or does it not exist? It would be useful feature to add if it doesn’t. As someone with an ASC I feel an urgent need to tidy up this list!
