MTR Mobile
MTR mobile is always a pleasure to use.It will give you a digital map of the different lines and also the stops on the light rail. It is an excellent way to transport as there’s even a MTR bus! It’s ideal for people around the globe as it is in Chinese and English.Last but not least, I would like to say well done for your near 46th anniversary of continuous service for Hong Kong and England, the stations are spotless and the trains are cheetahs, even the stations are equipped with ticket machines for those who don’t have their passes. Simply just amazing!😊🌟😁
Disappointing
The stupid app never sends the OTP code, and if you try to start all over it won’t let you reuse your email which you signed-up with because it wasn’t authenticated. Very poor programming. Seems it has no memory built-in for autofill or facial recognition. Maybe this is a PalmPilot program? It loads and processes super slow with full bars and 5G. Being in Hong Kong one would expect exceptional service and technology, so it must have been outsourced somewhere. Support and FAQ’s are worthless.
Not getting badges
I go to stations but don’t get the badges, or I get the badges a week after
Server is frequently down
Frequently cannot connect to server despite mobile signal is full plus with WiFi.

Poor UI
the content is useful. the map goes up and down when you choose the destinations. especially the pop up at the bottom is not useful at all.
提亦下車功能失敗！
眾所週知現代人在交通工具時常看手機，好多時不小心錯過下車站，試用過提亦下車功能完全無用，直覺上程式員應該設計提亦訊息在手機上面，預先計算將接近下個車站時popup 訊號提亦，唔係要自己返去地鐵app 看著實時車站，希望早日update 改善一下。香港程式員要多多參考外國app, 要做到user friendly. 我看到香港好多app 用法非常繁複唔好用，真心希望香港程式員加油學習改進！

This app fights back
The app works apart from deciding where IT thinks I need to plan a journey. I don’t want it to default to my location with each inquiry. The map moves around too much and the adverts are annoying.
Good features, but glitchy
The features are overall pretty good. Not sure how I feel about the rewards points system, seeing as options are restrictive, but that can change. I’d also note that the app has a tendency of crashing the first time I launch it- during the first instance the feed fails to load, and once I tap on it, the entire app quits abruptly. Also, please proofread your English posts.

Moved here recently and navigated the city with ease all thanks to this app. So much easier to use than the one from my home city.

Points for the bonus game are too low, before was 50 points each time, choices of gift are almost no choice, cause points need to be redeemed for a gift are too high, should set the points a lot lower & more different kinds of gifts
Agree once then don’t ask again
Get rid of waiver at start. It greatly impedes the use of the app. Be more innovative and think of user experience first rather than satisfying the company lawyer first!

Can't show the English language of the MTR assistance
As I have changed the language of the app is English, but its assistant shows in Chinese. I hope you can fix it asap!

Worse than before
It’s so much worse than the app before. So not user friendly! Who wants to go to through alll the stations to plan the route. Doesn’t make any sense at all! The old app is a lot easier to use when you can just select the station you want as the starting point on the map
Pretty decent
I was looking for something similar and surprise This is free with so many features on it. The intro flash is 5 sec and occasionally have ads but its manageable I think compares to what it offers
Force Closes
Force closing on start up when iPad is held in landscape. Now only works in portrait mode.

I'm from the States and staying in Hong Kong can get complicated. However, this app helped when it came to transportation and when to change MTRs.
Un useful
When you pay a one day pass ticket for tourist you need to collect the ticket from specific stations not use through app which un useful however the app gives error many times go with oysters cards much better and useful
Needs a map!
Excellent, easy to use journey planner. It needs to include the MTR map though! 😃
Latest update is downgrade
Since I recently updated the app, I have 3 big issues: 1. Constantly hassled by pop up asking about Bluetooth 2. Newly added large ad banner makes using map version of trip planner less user friendly. Often it covers the station I’m closest to so harder to verify. 3. Fast exit function doesn’t seem to be working. Please think about user experience.

Although the function ability is great, the graphics is so bad. Please support the retina display, Apple announced retina display two years ago!

This app is sweet. I live in mainland and I don't get data in HK, but this app works without data witch is pretty sweet.

NEED iPhone 6 & 6 plus Resolution
Words are blurred and user-interface are too large on iPhone 6 & 6 plus. Optimised resolution for large screens is needed.

It's pretty good. Works well. Journey planner is quite easy to use. However the station data info update of just 8mb does not work. I've tried several times and several hours later it still has not downloaded the data. So for that you get only 3 stars.
Fine
Annoying, but redownloading the app after deleting it fixes everything and worked flawlessly.
App Keeps Crashing
Since this year, I can log in, but when I try to do anything in the app, it immediately crashes. Fix it!
Offline version
It's a really good app, but an offline version, I.e the map would be nice, especially for those who have iPods
Ads in the apps
Since the screen of iPhone is small, please add the remove ads button as the ads is extremely annoying and reduce the usable space much. This is a important issue for design a user friendly user interface. Also, the ads have not contain much commercial ads since MTR has noticeably profit and MTR is a social enterprise.
Good information - poor app
Pretty useful app to have when travelling in Hong Kong. Has all the info you need - and you can view in English or Chinese. Unfortunately, the graphics are quite blocky and not updated for retina displays on iPhones for the past two years. A shame because the map when zoomed out has quite small text that would be legible if the app were updated.

this app is awesome！！！it can work offline, tell u where u can find a certain place or even a certain shop！！i also find local delicous place to hav lunch by its searching whereabouts function！！so useful！i didnt hav any trouble with this app as commented by other users, maybe it has updated and solve the problems！

But minus a star because you should incorporate the station maps withe respective exits explaining which street it leads to.
Quite disappointing
It is a great idea to get the MTR app for the iPhone. However, I would expect more from version 2. For instance, the interface is very unnatural, which it's hard to understand what to do with the app, as it is very un-iOS like. Also, it would be nice if the app shows more information than a table telling you yes and no. Snotty wanted feature would be muli-tasking support. It is quite important as one might want to search for something on the map at the same time when obtaining an MTR route. All in all, it does the very basics, but I wish to see more!
