Too long of a transition between games. Doesn’t show mistake on bad guess.

After the update it asks for age confirmation. But before any age can be inserted, it shuts down and won’t restart.

Super fun. Helps to keep the brain active and alleviate boredom.

They’ve put age walls up and my 5 year old can’t play now because they want to push ads. I’m gonna download a different one, and if that doesn’t work I’ll grab one of the open source Swift code bases for it for the store with no permissions requests or ads. Maybe a kofi link to monetize in case folks wanna donate.

Werbung ohne Ende
Viel zu viel Werbungen, man langweilt sich und schließt es zum Schluss. Außerdem ist die alte Version praktischer und schneller wenn man neues Spiel starten will. In dieser Version geht es jedes Mal zu 2 Menüs, wenn man verliert. Einmal Menü von New Game dann noch zum zweiten Menü Schwierigkeitsgrad und Play.
Poor running app
The upgrade is a disappointment, not an improvement, because: 1. The app often hangs up for 60 to 90 seconds, nothing can be done until the app reengages. 2. When you crash by hitting a mine, the closes instantly, so there’s no way to determine why you made an error.
Such poor design
Placing the flags is really janky. After the round ends it gives you a you won or you lost page that takes forever to start another round. Basically makes it impossible to try to play for speed. Such a downfall from the classic game and really frustrating because it used to be good

Very buggy
This version of minesweeper has many bugs that cause me to lose even if I didn’t to anything wrong. It’s better to just download one of the countless of other minesweepers on the App Store.
Recent updates make game less playable
This used to offer simple, unobtrusive game play. Recent updates have made game play less enjoyable. First, they changed the flagging operation so that it would toggle all adjacent tiles. So, if your tap was a little off, you had to go back and reset a bunch of flags. Occasionally, it would erase tiles so that they appeared like cleared tiles. The latest updates adds a silly animation screen after each game. Then, after a tap, it pops up the settings panel which just gets in the way of starting a new game. Now, I am looking for a new minesweeper game whose authors know enough to focus on good game play without a compulsion to get all cutesy.
I hate the latest update
I've had this Minesweeper app for a very long time and have really loved it. The latest update added a pop-up "y game lost", which is super-annoying. Please take it away! Otherwise it's very good, plays smoothly, the new stat page is well thought out.

Thank you for replying to me but my game is still doing the same thing at the end of each round where it goes into a cartoon saying You Lost or You Won. Was way better before when I could see my results and didn’t have to wait for the cartoon to end to start a new game. It’s just a waste of time. Thank you for taking the time to correct this.
Solide
Ich kann mich größtenteils nicht beschweren. Overall eine gute Steuerung, und man bekommt das was man erwartet. 4 Sterne nur deshalb da es ein Paar bugs gibt, die das spiel zwar nicht kaputt machen, aber recht nervig sind. Die da wären: 1. Ich spiele nahe zu immer so das ich flaggen mit einem klick setzte stat aufdecke, und berühre dann einfach die zahl zum aufdecken. Jedoch passiert es recht häufig das die felder nicht aufgedeckt werden und sie wie nullen aus sehen. Dies ist besonders lästig wenn dies beim rumscrollen passiert und man später dadurch einen Fehler macht, was mir zu genüge passiert ist. 2. wenn man mit der Kamera zu nahe rein zoomt, oder zu weit rausge zoomt ist und eine flagge setzt springt die Kamera, was sich als lästig erweist. 3. beim durch die „gegendschauen“ werden flaggen platziert, an der stelle an welcher man zu scrollen angefangen hat, oder die jeweilige Aktion auf einer normalen zahl, welches gerne zum erst genannten bug führt. 4. Rumscrollen funktioniert nicht immer, man braucht teils mehrere versuche, in welchen mann dann sinnlos Flaggen setzt. Insgesamt ist dieses Spiel jedoch gut, jedoch gebe ich nur 4 Sterne da alle buggs in nahe zu allen meinen Spielen auftreten, welches äußerst lästig ist

I love this game, but the new update sucks: flagging issues and the adds for the Minesweeper 2 wont allow me to play the original game with no wifi. Pretty dumb.

Long time player
Played Minesweeper then Minesweeper classic then classic 2 for many years.. upgrading for a buck or whatever it was years ago has been way worth it. I have played 15k games at the hardest level since classic. Only win about 2%. One add popped up. Irritated by that. But maybe there won’t be anymore. Love this Game. My Advanced level win rate is up to 4%. I continue to learn little secrets about this game, even after nearly 20 years of play. 2022 update. Still playing after all these years. Using custom level. Made largest board and slowly worked up to 170 mines. Could not win at 170 mines. Tried for 6 months. Many hundreds of games. Came very close a few times but could not win. Dropped to 169 mines and won a game after 15 losses. I don’t want to think how many millions of games I have played. The upshot to playing a difficult custom game is that the Hard level is relatively easy.

Super Design (kleiner Bug)
Richtig gutes Appdesign! Mir ist ein kleiner Bug aufgefallen: Ich habe auf Hard gespielt und „gewonnen“. Danach bin ich aus der App heraus gegangen und später wieder in die App hinein. In der App wird der Modus automatisch wieder auf easy gestellt. So weit passt alles. Allerdings wird der Highscore den ich nun auf easy erreiche unter den Highscores in Hard gespeichert, wodurch ich dort 20 Sekunden stehen habe😁 Bitte fixen, dann gibts definitiv 5 ⭐️
Flag function changed
When in flag function, you used to be able to click on the square with the number to have all unmarked squares touching it go down, to help you count how many you had left. Now, it changes any flags you have labeled into question marks, and adds flags to all unmarked squares. Change the function back to the way it was, the new way is awful and inefficient.
Thoughts on minesweep
1. Too many times do you have to make a guess (an either or guess move) to win a game after you have gone through all the moves to get to a win. Frustrating!!!! 2. It often takes too many times to be able to start a game successfully. I have gone maybe 15 minutes to be able to get to a good start of the game. This is very frustrating as you want to get playing and the bad starts go against your win percentage. 3. There are games which are impossible to win unless you make proper guesses. No matter how much you try to figure out a move to continue on, there is no proper move that can be made without a guess. An example of this is putting a bunch of mines together in a corner. 3. Your percentage of winning would go way up if you could eliminate 1, 2 and 3 above. I like the game when you can think through all the moves without the game deciding whether you win or lose.

Tried to play the game. It asked for “age verification”. Absolutely makes no sense! But, apparently, if you’re older than 1970 you don’t get to play! Off to find a different variation… (preferably a different maker.)

I find it is really easily to accidentally hit a square instead of the button to change flags on and off. But it is otherwise a really well made game.
Very addicting
This app is very addicting!!! Can’t seem to stop playing 😃 Just wish that it wasn’t so glitchy and don’t like the close up flagging
Only thing
I made the purchase to remove ads a couple of years ago, and at some point it lost my purchase and wouldn’t let me restore. I opted to purchase the ad removal again (initially marked $0.99) and when the purchase screen populates, it’s actually $15.00 TO REMOVE ADS WHY. The two prompts are different and it’s a bit misleading.

Buggy and unenjoyable
The games constantly freezing and making it impossible to keep playing, multiple times per game I can’t move the screen or click any buttons, but the game timer is still going on so that ruins my times. Also I’ve ran into times where the numbers and the bombs just don’t match up, it seems impossible. On top of that when you do set off a bomb you don’t even get a chance to see the solved game screen, it’s as if they are trying to hide their janky set up. Overall a super unpleasant app can’t wait to find a new one
No AD Price is too high
The game itself is really great based on the old windows game but no ADS price is just to high :o
Tracking
I’ve had this on my iPad for a few years. According to the new Privacy info in iOS 14, this app is tracking its users. I can see collecting ANONYMOUS usage data to see how the app is being used, but I don’t see any reason why that needs to be tied to my identity, or why games should be trying to track people in the first place, so ... deleted. Which is too bad, it’s a cute little game, a good way to pass a few minutes when I’m sitting in a waiting room or whatever. If a future version is released which doesn’t tie any information to my identity, I’ll install it again.

Love this app - it’s a good version for free. HOWEVER porn videos frequently pop up and take over the screen while you’re playing, which is extremely unfortunate if you’re playing while on public transit..
Nice but not built for iphone
It was Nice to play the original game. But once you try higher lvl. Then you have to drag the screen to be able to have access to all the mines. That is supper annoying and destroy the fun of trying to have a good time to resolve it. If they change that then I will change my score.
Good, but a few horrible issues
This is a nice remake of classical minesweeper. A few months ago, pornography images used to pop up. It seems to have been fixed. Now, really bad R&B music blares during gameplay, even though I have my phone on silent mode. If the game can circumvent silent mode, I wonder what else it is doing behind the scenes. Uninstalled!

Age required and will not allow you to play without entering an age. If you add a fake age, it will not allow you to play

The flag button needs to be bigger I often just miss it and mess up a game by dying

Mostly fine but I got a p*rn ad and now I’m scarred. I must have accidentally clicked cause suddenly full video view on things I shouldn’t have to see, the video then floats over another ad for a solid ten seconds before disappearing into oblivion.
Good but needs fixes and refinement
It does what it means to do and any fast player can probably get along with it. Having said that, I’m disappointed that the game defaults to a medium difficulty board but tracks my high score under difficult stats. I would like it to default to the difficult board but it won’t. Also, when randomly hunting for bombs I find that the game demands finger-accuracy. I would prefer trading accuracy for speed, say if I’m 80% closest to one cell and not the others. Also, the flag switch could be made faster. Finally, how about diagonal scroll?
