What people like
- Feels just like the original classic game
- Fun way to relax and kill time
- Has many levels for different challenges
What they complain about
- Keeps crashing or showing a blank screen
- Ads interrupt you constantly and are annoying
- Paid ad-free version still shows ads
- Support never actually responds to complaints
Better than Microsoft!
Finally, a minesweeper game that is loyal to the original with remastered graphics for the younger generation. This is how Microsoft SHOULD HAVE released Minesweeper for modern systems; their classic theme? Blown out of the water next to this version.
Too many ads
You spent more times in ads than playing
Ads
The game is great but I get a lot of ads
Game won't load
I have been playing this for years but suddenly in the last few weeks, when I press the daily challenge, nothing happens. Even when I swipe it off and reopen it, I can't access the games. Even the event won't load for me.
aesthetically the game looks good but
I don’t like how most of the games I play I have to rely on luck to advance. I could understand if that was the case on the highest level of difficulty perhaps but I play on medium.
JP
Once I’ve understood how to play minesweeper, this genuinely became my favorite game. What was the first thing I did, install the on my phone.
Very disappointing update
The animations and bold text are by far the worst parts of this update. There really should be an option to disable them.
ok
buttons do not work sometimes
Can’t start a game
Currently can’t start a new game, be it the normal or event versions of the games.
Can't play old daily games
I used to love this game, but the latest update made it so you can't play the old daily games. Now I just don't play anymore because the challenge and variety is gone. I'm not checking into an app every day just for the current daily.
Fun n enjoyable
Has some ads, but outside the ones that you use to get assistance or a do over, you can skip the others. Outside of that, this is a fun and enjoyable game to play when bored or killing some time.

Waiting for Events
I installed this game several months ago. I enjoy playing it as it takes me back to the early days of Windows games. However, I am wondering when the events will start. It tells me a new event will start soon. And the latest update, I think from last year, says it includes new events. I can win games at every difficulty level (I also lose a few) and the daily challenge is fun, but I’d like some more, harder challenges.
Won’t open
I played this daily for years. Now it won’t open. I’ve shut down my phone. Updated the app software. It gets to the real screen and freezes and has got about 1 month. Not sure what happened.
Too many ads
I love the game but I can’t take all the ads.
Going to miss it
I don’t even know how many years I’ve had this game at this point, I’ve loved it. It works so well I love the customization options, but it no longer works :( I open it up and I just get a teal screen. Nothing more. I won’t uninstall it. I hope it will work one day, but onto new apps.
Remove Ads?
I paid $2.99 to remove ads, but ads are still visible. Why am I still forced to watch an ad to be able to keep going on a game? And these are long and loud ads you cannot stop without closing the app. What were the $2.99 for? Nothing but a scam. False advertisement. I’ll ask for a refund. Shame on you.
Refreshingly simple.
Love this game overall, took a sec to get back into the swing of it though!! Not played since it came preloaded on any xp-era windows pc… Minus -1* because the app memory did seem to glitch out a few times, erasing high scores and any progress etc. which was a little annoying but not the end of the world for me, but seems to have resolved itself anyway.
Great until last update
Was obsessed with this game until your last update. Every time I open the app it shows the logo then it just goes black. It won’t open! Please fix this or I’ll have to find a different minesweeper app - and this one is my favorite. Paid for ad-free and everything!
Stopped working
After latest updates, shows blank teal screen and hangs there
Best one.
I’ve tried several versions of this game… This is the most closed to the original one.
Seems Developers Lost Interest
Like many others, all I get now is the teal screen. And I notice there are no responses from the developers. Guess the developers moved on to working in fast food.
Hot garbage
This game used to be one of my faves. Played it daily for literally years. Then… they made recent changes that kinda ruined it. No variability in the daily game. Can’t go back if you miss a day. I reached out to support approximately 20 times and crickets. I thought maybe my game had a glitch so I deleted it and reloaded only to discover that the “restore purchases” button doesn’t work. The purchase ad free button just above it works of course. Not sure what happened but I would avoid this game and choose one of the many better options.
Not loading anymore
Great 6 months ago but not loading since last month update and no Daily Challenge available anymore from past days. Emailed support but no reply. Time to download a competitor App I guess
Minesweeper review
Fun game but too many adds
5 stars
This game has very little ads and is very fun to play. It has many levels to choose from and it is very challenging
Broken.
I used to love this app but it doesn’t launch at all for me. It’s just a blank teal screen.
Bug
Seul le mode beginner est accessible , depuis la dernière mise à jour
Too many ads even after purchase
I was forced to delete and reinstall this app because it would not boot up upon opening. I had previously purchased the app but was unable to restore the purchased version. The amount of ads are outrageous. They were even bad with the purchased version but this is ridiculous
Unable to play for several days in a row
I launch the app, it, goes through the title page, signs me in, then the screen goes green and that’s the end. I enjoyed it daily for weeks before this.
Buss
10/10
Freezes
Each month after completing all daily challenges, the app constantly freezes on the last day not allowing you to collect your 1000 coins. It was never like this before when I first downloaded the game. I enjoyed it so much I paid to have ads removed. Now it is just frustrating. FIX IT PLEASE!!!!!!
Changed
Love this classic version…but…since the update to the graphics I can’t go back and do a missed daily challenge which is rather annoying
Insane bug, unplayable
I love me some minesweeper. And this game was a great version of it. Weeks ago(maybe over a month), the load screen would load up and then it would freeze on the same blank screen. I thought surely they would fix it right away, but no. Its still broken as of this review. Even if the app is fixed at this point the 2 stars stands. the dev teams priorities aren't on this game and im not going to spend $5 on a game that literally wont work for over a month. Thats insane.
Paid for the upgrade
Paid for the upgrade and kept getting adds. Moved on.
Nice job👍
Simple sweet and a nice revamp of a classic
Used to be good
The last few updates have absolutely ruined the app. None of the tabs work, you can no longer purchase extra lives with coins (thus making coins obsolete). You can no longer go back and finish daily puzzles if you missed a day, and you can’t access the events. I messaged support over a few weeks ago and zero response. (1/2024) As of now 5/6/2024, you can’t play the game at all. Hitting play on the event, the daily puzzle or just a regular game does absolutely nothing. I just don’t understand why after years of having a great game it’s been made absolutely unplayable. Please fix this!
Minesweeper
This game is fun and doesn’t have to many ads. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it can be laggy sometimes, but other than that it’s good.
Not loading
This game wasn’t too bad as I could deal with the ads but then came an issue. I cant seem to be able to open the game and it’s been like this for almost two weeks which is highly annoying. I don’t know what’s wrong to where it won’t load even with perfect internet but something is wrong with it.
Too many adverts
Having an advert after each game is ridiculous. Otherwise, I love this nostalgic game.
Minesweeper
Haven’t played in years, but it’s nice to have something I remember fondly to relax with.
App is frozen after paying for no ads, no response from developer
My app froze, tried restarting and even reloading, no response; like the developer, sent an email, crickets. Deleting and finding a different minesweeper app to play. Don’t waste your time and certainly don’t waste your money.
Great Old Game
Great classic game. Dropping a point just because of my irritation that you have to guess so much. Would be good to either make sure logic always needed or that 50/50 guesses are always correct.
Liked it enough to buy ad free, but the latest update changed that
It’s really nice without the ads, but I don’t like that I can’t play previous daily puzzles anymore.
The vibrations are killing me
Please tell me I’m missing a button to disable them somewhere? It feels so disgusting to play with them, they’re not a regular vibration it’s like 3 very short mini vibrations in one. I understand why you’d want to add them as it can make the game more enjoyable but it’s not done well , I seriously can’t get through around 5 taps before my fingers hate it and I have to stop
Fun and Enjoyable
I have always found this game fun and enjoyable.
If it works
It's a nice minesweeper game. However for a week now it's impossible to start a game, from anywhere within the app.
Stop the ads please
A great implementation of the classic game- clean and fast. The ads however ruin it for me - why can’t I pay to get rid of them?
Love this classic but too many glitches when they run their ads. The game also freezes from time to time which can cause you to lose a good run, all because the game can’t keep up.
