Just downloaded today and was enjoying the initial game but now it keeps crashing.
Fun but a bit buggy
Awesome game; really great teaching attacking chess. Would give it five stars but of every few times I use it, it seems to lock up on my iPhone despite having the latest version.
Great game but literally stuck in ads.
Very fun and good design, but the majority of the ads are scaled so large they’re missing the exit button so you get legitimately stuck in them.

It’s a simple, fun, thoughtful chess puzzle game. It’s not overmonetized. It’s not trying to upsell clothing or costumes or chessboards. It’s just a straightforward, engaging, pretty chess puzzle game for ads or $5.
USED to be stable, but now crashes frequently
I cleared all the levels and started over again. This app used to run great, but I don’t know what service they’ve partnered with, but the some of the ads in this game outright crash this app. Not the video ads—the BANNER ads. I hope they address this issue soon. Update: “Restore Purchase” does NOT work anymore.

The scenarios are fun, I enjoy them. But, it has frozen on me multiple times now, and that just makes the game unplayable

This was my favorite puzzle game until 3 months ago. Now it crashes and locks up the phone for 30ish seconds all the time. I keep trying though, hoping a fix has happened because it really is fun.

I like the game a lot, but I keep having to kill the app because it freezes all of the time. It’s the only app I have that freezes constantly.

Game says it’s checkmate when the king has a clear escape. Unplayable garbage.

Maybe It’s my fault. But this game is just to easy. I’m on level 100 and it’s still super easy. Mate in 2 gets old.

Great game, sometimes the levels are hard but it’s chess; as of right now I’m level 146

Was one of my favorite games but now unplayable due to the spam of pop up ads that keep trying to open your browser. Uninstalling the app.

Good Concept, Terrible Execution
This app has the potential to be fantastic. It’s fun and thoughtful challenges are ruined however, by it freezing and crashing literally every other puzzle. If you pick a piece to move, then decide to move another instead, you can pretty much guarantee that the app will stop responding and lock your phone up for 10-12 seconds before it reverts to Home Screen. Thankfully, it does a pretty good job at remembering where you left off, but having to force close every one or two challenges makes me want to throw my phone through a wall.

Enjoyed this as a fun way to train chess moves. Came back to it after a year long break and it literally freezes my whole phone up no matter what. It is quite literally an unusable app and nothing seems to be done about it.
GREAT game but
This is my favourite app ever but the ads are a bit cumbersome. I bought the premium version it was like 5 bucks totally worth it.

Can’t close out the ads after they play. Maybe you can pay to not have ads but I’m not wasting my time to find out.
Too many ads
I used to play this on flights when there wasn't WiFi and it was perfect. I then happened to play at one point with an internet connection and noticed the game is pretty full of annoying ads. I started using an ad blocker and it got this game into my regular rotation. Now the game crashes constantly, it's basically unusable. I wonder what data it's collecting.

Fun but not real checkmates
Fun little puzzles, but some of them aren’t actually forced mates, the opponent could make better moves in response to your moves.
What happened
I used to play this game a lot and took a break. I’ve come back to it and it’s unplayable. Constantly freezes and the daily game the chess pieces are off the table and just shake as part of a glitch. They need an update badly
Nice, but too many distracting rubbish
I accept the free-with-ads-pay-to -remove model. But even after shelling out to remove the ads, the bloody thing still demands your attention with an animated icon offering free points, and another demanding attention for some time-limited challenge. Sod off! I like the creative problems, but really don’t need flashing lights and wiggling “Free!” icons.
