Scam
I have paid to have the car checked and it has taken the money from my account and there is no check to show available. Do not use this app it’s a scam
Works well for a free app
Just downloaded the new app using my old subscription information, and all of my previous searches appeared - impressive. Problem is, how do I remove the searches I am no longer interested in?
Not again!
Love using this app but... Where’s all my history gone...again? Last year you deleted it all and thankfully gave a means to retrieve it. I’ve been logged out of the app, went to log back in and found all my history deleted. Can it be retrieved please?
Wrong car info
Shows my 2001 facelift Audi S8 as having 335bhp which is incorrect - that power is the first S8 (non-facelift). The facelift S8 has 355bhp (or 360ps). Also, it doesn’t update the MOT info on an existing car check in my garage. I have to type the number plate in again.
Amazing App
Amazing the amount of information given on a car. Especially liked the valuation over a period of years (and it doesn’t always go down!)
wrong report
I used this app to check a car I was interested in purchasing, and their report falsely indicated that the car was under finance. Concerned, I paid another company for a verification check, which confirmed there was no finance pending on the car. This experience was extremely disappointing. A wrong report like this can significantly impact your buying decision and cause unnecessary stress. I cannot recommend this app. It provided inaccurate information and turned out to be a waste of money.

Downgraded by recent update
Being an overseas customer who mainly uses this app to see that a vehicle registration matches the description in an advertisement and to check the month of first registration. The latter is important for me to work out whether VAT is payable on an intended import. This information is no longer available without a payment of £1.99 for EACH vehicle one wishes to check. This was free until a recent update. Please reinstate

Ui should be better, their prices for full checks are too expensive so 3 stars for an average app. Found better alternatives.
MoT Testing
Very handy app for checking MoT details of a car before testing.
Unable to sign in
When trying to sign in to the app it’s supposed to send you an email with a code. I never get it. Signing into the website works fine, so at the minute it’s just an app I can’t use.

The app is good but cant be used on Irish reg so you should be able to search Irish reg on it then I would give I 5 stars
Room for improvement...
Why is there not an auto detect with the camera?... we use this as a game to guess the engine size whilst driving, I’d like to be able to point the camera and have the app pick up the VRN, then display the data automatically. That’s a wish from me... Also I liked seeing the useless info such as bore size like in the old app, bring that back!

Use to love using this app and now just shows a fake screen to go on the website. Really loved this app but now you have to use the website and it’s like a primary school kid has designed it. Why is this app even on the AppStore when it says use the website. DON’T DOWNLOAD THIS CRAP APP! Avoid at all cost.

Useless App that was once good
Was an excellent app before but now it’s absolutely useless. The app takes you to a website where you have to log in, the search history is gone. What was once a great app is now pathetic. The old case of, if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it applies here.

What’s Happened ?
Used to love this app but now it’s a never ending loop of logging in with email, then clicking the link in the email then back to being sent another email and so on until I want to throw my phone at a wall. Never get to any screen that lets me see the details I used to see for free. Looks like it’s pay up or get frustrated with a never ending loop of getting nowhere if you want to keep it free. Very disappointed in this latest so called upgrade. More like a massive downgrade.

Excellent, anything you need to find out about a vehicle, I done a search on an old bike I picked up from side of road, the police never came to pick it up 30 years later I got my car check to do a report, it came back stolen they got in touch with the insurance they decided to remove the stolen tag of the bike, what over company would put themselves out to do that !
THEY RUINED IT!!! WHY?
I use to use this app every single day (I’m a car Trader) now the main and only purpose of this app is completely gone, and all the money I’ve spent on getting HPI checks for my previous & current cars has all completely gone, not sure why this is but seems as its just shut down also when I type in the reg & click “Free” nothings happening so even now after it redirects you to crap web browser its not working so totally unusable... absolutely pointless, deleted the app.
