Habe mir 2 Berichte geholt. Bei beiden waren keine Vorschäden eingetragen, obwohl beide Autos laut Händler Vorschäden (5.000 und 13.000€) hatten die bei Vertragswerkstätten (VW) gerichtet wurden. Aber schnell und übersichtlich.

Would leave 0 star if I could. Used my own number plate to check my car’s history, before you use a credit it shows as a bmw m5 correctly. Soon as you use a credit it says the car is a bmw 330d, what an absolute rip off

Last minute check
Saw the link on Mat Armstrong and Calvin’s vlogs . I was nearly in my way to buy a car and decided to check it out. So glad I did as the car wasn’t what it seemed . The check clarified everything I needed to know . Found more damage than disclosed and an issue with ownership . Didn’t buy it . All good thank you worth every penny especially with the MAT discount
Scam
The data provided is incorrect and they don’t want to know. I struggled to sell a car because dealers using car vertical kept telling me the car was written off. After a phone call to DVLA and a full HPI report this was in fact incorrect due to a private number plate previously assigned to the vehicle was written off on a separate vehicle. Also I purchased a car which car vertical stated had 2 previous owners. When the V5 turned up it had 7. Again they are not interested. Save the hassle and do a full HPI report. You have been warned.

Update: ich habe meine Abfrage für meinen Golf erstattet bekommen. Daher gehe ich erstmal wieder auf 4 Sterne hoch. Wenn die nächste Abfrage besser wird, dann gehen wir auf 5 Sterne. Danke an den Support, hat keine 10 Stunden gedauert von der Nachricht bis zu Erstattung. Viel über CarVertical gehört, viel gutes aus verschiedenen Quellen. Habe dann mal meinen 2014er Golf überprüft und gefunden hat CarVertikal… nichts… also ja, das Auto existierte, aber nichts war drin im System. Gar nicht. Wirklich nichts. Kein TÜV, keine Unfälle die ich selbst damit hatte und über die Versicherung abgerechnet wurden, nichts. Das Auto ist mit 15km in CarVertical gelistet. Er hat inzwischen 208.000 km. Nichts konnte mir das program dadrüber sagen. Gar nichts. Hat man bei solchen schlechten Abfragen die Möglichkeit sein Geld für die Abfrage wieder zu bekommen? Mal schauen. Wenn es die Möglichkeit gibt für derartig schlecht abfragen sein Geld zurück zu bekommen und wenn ich zukünftig bessere Anfragen bekomme, dann ändern sich vielleicht nochmal die Sterne.

Niemals an Carvertical alles Vertrauen,ich möchte ein teures Auto kaufen zeigt Unfallfrei,habe natürlich geglaubt und habe mein bisheriges Auto mit ein kleinen unfall was ich hatte und weisst 100% auch mit Versicherung abgeklärt,fotos und alles sind damals gemacht worden und jetzt habe ich durchgecheckt auch Unfallfrei. JETZT WUNDERE ICH DAS ALLES ES STIMMT WIRKLICH NICHT ZU 100%

If you don’t use your check in an allocated time they expire! The check do use only last 28 days after that you can’t see them or download them. Much better apps out there which do exactly that for less.

Daten stimmen einfach nicht, habe es an mehreren Autos nun getestet wo ich definitiv weiß das es Schäden gab (welche von der Versicherung abgerechnet wurden) und trotzdem steht da nichts.

Die App ist ok. Der Preis ist immer der selbe, egal ob Daten für ein Fahrzeug hinterlegt sind oder nicht. Ebenso gibt es keine Einschätzung wie valide diese Daten und die Aussage ist. Hier bezahlt ma lediglich für eine Abfrage bei Dritten. Der Service bei Problem oder Fragen ist eher lahm. Die Abrechnung ist nicht transparent, ebenso wie das löschen der Berichte nach kurzer Zeit oder das verfallen der nicht genutzten Credits. Eine Rechnung wird nicht automatisch bereit gestellt und auf Nachfrage dauert es auch. Sowas sollte heutzutage immer unabhängig für den Kunden abzurufen sein. Ein gutes Gefühl kriegt man bei erfolgreichem Abruf der Daten für ein Fahrzeug dennoch, wenn ansonsten alles unbekannt war.
Quality of Data wins hands down
I’ve found Car Vertical to be the most complete and comprehensive data set amongst all Competitors in the UK. Wouldn’t use anybody else!
Go Elsewhere
No recourse for incomplete or useless data otherwise available from loads of online sources, slow useless customer service with excuses for not refunding you when they can’t get you what you need. Don’t waste your wages here people.

Ganz nett, aber nicht wirklich hilfreich… selbst bei einem 35 Jahre alten Auto wird bei Kilometerstand 30 km angegeben. Obwohl der richtige Kilometerstand 230.000 ist, da fragt man sich natürlich, inwiefern die anderen Informationen richtig sind.

Great app! Was worried about a car I was purchasing but it gave me all the information I needed. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 was purely the price of the checks! I would however use every time I purchase a car just for peace of mind
Poor UX and incomplete data
A huge faff to get logged in. In the app you can’t save a report pdf to Files, you have to use a web browser for that. I’ve owned my car from new, 5 years old now, and at 2 weeks old it got accident damaged requiring a claim on the other party’s insurance and a month in the workshop. Nothing shown in Car Vertical. Everything else shown is available for free from gov.uk, like mileage and MOT history. No value added by Car Vertical. Feels like a rip off to be honest.

Great reports, great support
Great app with really impressive vehicle reports — both the short and full versions are clear, detailed, and very helpful. It covers a vast amount of information on a car, which gives real peace of mind. Customer support is excellent too. Even over the Christmas break, I received a quick and helpful response and my issue was resolved without hassle. The only small snag is that reports don’t seem to download properly to my iPhone, but overall I’m still 100% happy with the app and the service.

Замовив перевірку авто по держ.номеру. Програма попросила оплатити. Заплатив 1000 грн. Звіт пустий, виявляється програма не може перевірити авто з Японії, бо там VIN коротший. Написав в підтримку, через певний час звʼязались, повернули гроші.
NOT FOR CAT CARS
Don’t use it to find out cause of crash on CAT cars. It won’t tell you. This is not for CAT cars it’s for auction cars cos it doesn’t give you any information about the damage. I bought 3 reports for 3 cars and they were all cat. It didn’t give me any extra info than autotrader free report
High price,for mainly low info
Have checked many cars with CarVertical. 90% of the cars have no info at all,or just 1 mileage info. High price for low info. I rather do vehicle check with dealer. Its higher price but info is much much better,and source is trusted. On Car Vertical many car damages are listed without pictures or naming source. Only one car had pictures,from add and full milege history About 15 car i have checked so far. Its not a good number....

Unable to create new report on app
Can’t do anything other than buy new reports and see existing ones. There are no other menus or buttons visible. Suspect this may be as I am on a 4.7 inch screen (iPhone se 2022) and something is cut off the screen . When I reported it I just got told they would pass along feedback. Even on the website you have to click around a lot to use a reg plate rather than a VIN , see others reporting similar.

Disappointing
Unless the car you are looking to buy is a CAT car I wouldn’t bother! The app is sloppy and doesn’t work properly at times…also expensive for each report and unless your car has been in a crash it doesn’t tell you any special information.
App needs improvement - patience needed!
Does this work? The short answer is yes, however server response is slooowww and it looks like you get billed and nothing happens for an unreasonable length of time. The next time you login, your credits maybe visible, even though the transaction is complete. Biggest gripe here is that it then asks for you to do another purchase and doesn't recognise the credits. They do eventually turn up and then the search is smooth and informative. This is poor app design and it should inform the user that credits are pending verification and please wait. Unfortunately, this is also reflected in the web app, so overall could have a better customer interface. App also asks whether you want to save 20% - think this might be a multi-buy option, but this is not clear and you do seem to have a discount applied. Additionally I was notified I had a further 10% applied to account by email, but again not sure that it was and no code was given...

Extra VIN hoop!
Out of no where they have added the VIN as a requirement. This service used to be a great way of checking the honesty of adverts, particularly for previous owners, without needing to contact the seller, the required VIN has made it useless. Until they reverse this feature save your money.

It is a useful tool when buying a used car, I got a report for my future car and had !some! useful data it doesn’t worth it… Another problem is that I wanted to buy 2 reports for 20eur but when I clicked the button I still get the 3 reports for ~30eurs ant there was no way around it!!! Please fix this. I was “forced” to buy the 3report pack…
