Not bad. Little delay but they are good
Allstate is the insurance that's partnered with Walmart and I usually get my tvs, Apple products and anything over $100 protected. Little cost but gives me peace of mind In the long run. They have a list for you to do in order to get your item warrantied and once it's complete, they give you a Walmart gift card. I prefer to get the same item shipped to me but gift card is useful in case the item is discounted or something . I recommend square trade and the app easily tracks all your "insured" items in one app
The root of all evil!!!!
This company is the reason I HATE, Allstate. And I want that to be clear. They have been giving me the runaround for over 3 months for a washing machine claim. I filed a complaint with the “Florida Office of Insurance Regulation”. And i switched my three cars from Allstate because of square trade. I will be looking to file as many complaints to this company as i can. And Alice I hope for love of god, you get fired from that company. Parron the appliance supervisor literally has been disrespectful to me and my father. He made fun of him for having a accent.
Update is messed up
New update caused my colors to be off. Some parts that were white, are now extremely black and I can’t see the text of those spots. It’s like a messed up dark mode. Needs to be fixed.
Poor functionality/support
The app has many bugs. When I reach out to tech support they said they can not assist.
Haven’t been able to log on with most recent updates
App has always worked well. When trying to login now it tells me I need to change my password because they made some changes on Oct. 21st. I thought I’d wait and it’d fix with the next update but I am still having this issue. Once fixed I will give this a 5 star review.
Phone insurance
SquareTrade once again is the gold standard for insuring your electronics (especially phones). The fact that they offer; outstanding customer service, simplicity and options, excellent coverage and fit, and unparalleled affordability makes SquareTrade THE go to insurance/warranty program.
Scam of a company
This company is terrible and makes it very unnecessarily hard by design to make a claim so that they won’t have to pay out. Extremely incompetent employees and app design. You have to jump through a hundred hoops for them to help you at all, and the chat in app doesn’t work or connect you with anyone most of the time. Very unhelpful in and makes me wish I never did business with them.
Easy to buy. Product checked out well on web search. UPDATE 11/19/19!!
UPDATE *** app now crashes 2-3 seconds after opening. Repeatedly. Deleted and reloaded. Still crashing. Help.... The app is incredibly easy. Poked around web for info/ reviews and Square Trade seems to be excellent. Hope I don't need to find out.
Very confusing UI / buggy
There are a lot of small annoyances that have made dislike this app within 10 minutes of using it. The help bot doesn’t direct you to pages, just tells you to go there. The app disconnects after 3 minutes of completing a field or sending a message. (I.e. if you don’t have everything ready, you’ll have to restart if you have to find something) Typing doesn’t count, you have to actually leave the field before it resets your time. YOU CANT SEE THE TIME REMAINING, but you’ll just have to risk it. When filing a claim you still have to select the SN, what category the item is, the sub category. Even though the products are registered and recognized when I look at my plan.
Latest version 8.16 Crashes after opening
Please fix. I’m running latest iOS 13.3.1 on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. It also crashes the same on my iPad Pro 2nd generation. Thank you!

I’ve had SquareTrade since 2016. It used to be amazing. I had peace of mind on all of my devices. In the last year, SquareTrade has moved to an app-based customer service model. This is fine if implemented properly, but SquareTrade has failed in many ways. Firstly, the app opens new claims EVERY time you upload documents that they request. This creates tons of claim #s to track. Secondly, none of their internal support communicate with each other. It means 30-45 minutes of calling or chatting just to get the new guy up to speed on a previous claim. Also feels like they don’t hand out information readily, so it’s only after I ask a confirming question that they look on their end and tell me they already have it. Thirdly, the app looks like it hasn’t been updated in 5+ years. Makes it difficult to see the status of a claim or do anything more than upload documents (again, opening a new claim every time). Go with a different phone insurance. Your time is money, and this one is not worth your time.

Home Depot purchase was a scam!
We purchased a warranty through Home Depot through Square trade. I tried to use it and it said to bring my fan into an authorized fixer…. No one’s gonna repair a fan this small in other words ha ha gotcha sucker.
Coffeemaker
My coffeemaker was not working properly. The process was easy and Square Trade took care of sending me a check so I could go get another one. Will always use them.
Unable to login
Very bad application. I reset password multiple times but never works. Always saying wrong email and password.
Thief’s
In 2 years, I’ve had to file 2 claims, a bad Visio tv and a bad refrigerator both purchased at Walmart. Both times, the agents have magically had same exact problems, “ system is down”, “ we are going thru scheduled system maintenance “, we can’t find receipt you uploaded even though confirmation received. Allstate are a bunch of lying theifs.

Won't replace remote I lost. They don't connect you to a human. Waste of money.
Warranty Support is terrible.
I purchased two tablets from Walmart with protection plans. Both need to be fixed. Both on the same receipt. I made a claim for one but the second didn’t show up in their system. They wanted me to go to Walmart and get a new receipt. Again a new receipt but same receipt as the first with no new information. All information for the second tablet is on the same receipt. I had to explain this to Jack several times. I downloaded the receipt from the internet and they would not file a claim for the second even though I have proof. They would not go on receipt recovery to see it themselves. I had to email warranty support with the digital receipt. The tech could not understand this was a computer error between Walmart and Allstate. I have friends in supports like this and they go above and beyond to help customers. HE WOULD NOT EVEN OPEN A BROWSER! If it is policy or not you guys need to seriously train your techs. If it is policy change it.
