If you are using your own router, like an Eero, this app is worthless. Has your plan info etc. but nothing about your network. So I use my eero app, which is fantastic!

Parental controls are terrible
This has some of the worst and least flexible parental controls I’ve come across. The scheduling doesn’t work consistently, and if you need to temporarily pause a device you have to get rid of the schedule. The scheduling is not flexible at all either. You get one on and one off per day, and that’s it.

Always enjoyed Google fiber because it’s rarely goes down. Would it became available? I decided to make the transition again.
This App is broken !
I get the opening screen, but nothing happens after that. No selections from the top menu do anything at all. I deleted and reloaded it, but it is doing nothing that I can see.

The app worked great until last update. Freezes upon launch. Called about it, but no joy on getting it working.
Works except for the one thing I want
Why can't I update payment method? My payment lapsed and because I can't update my payment method like your "Help Center" says I can, YOU LIED and said I cancelled my service! No tf I did not! I'm trying to give you money and there is no way to update this on the app. I do not have a computer and should not have to buy one just to pay you. This is one of, if not THE biggest corporations on the planet. You can afford to fix your $#!+.

iPad app wont work
I’ve installed and reinstalled the iPad app and cannot get it to work.
Router Status Boken
For several months the IOS app has been unable to display my Google provided router status. Service is working, but it shows the router is unreachable from the app. It works on a browser window. Please fix this and I’ll update the rating
Good and bad
The connection and speeds are fine but the app is lacking. Functions are taken away with no warning. Then re appear and then are not working again. Support always states it under maintenance and to wait a few days. They also mention a follow up which has never happened so far.

Terrible service
Literally always an outage. No refunds either when internet is out for days. AI agent for support which puts you in a loop. Horrible
internet service works great app not so much
I love Google Fiber internet service, and used to enjoy the app. With this most recent update nothing in the app works now. Unable to run speed tests without an error.

Great internet speed-poor app performance
I just upgraded to 3 GB and the service is great! However, the app always reports that there is a problem with my network. I run the recommended speed test for the modem and it always shows great speeds both up and down. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it at Google’s request to no avail.
Less functional than the last app I had to use
With all the money in the world, you’d think we would at least not go backward in functionality. First I had to use the Google Home app to control my internet, now it’s the much worse Google Fiber app. I guess I’ll start preparing for whatever even worse iteration comes next.

Worthless app pathetic support
The worst app ever! Fails constantly doesn’t fix anything and calling googles customer service in is a waste of time! Their customer service is pathetic and nothing but a lousy 3rd party outsourcing company in India using Ai software to hide their accent! They have no technical training whatsoever and read the same thing exact script as googles stupid Ai chat bot ivr! Everything is just them filing tickets to google that go into a black hole and fixes nothing! For over a year now I have been fighting with GFiber and its stupid App for issues with my stupid WiFi extenders I’m filling a complaint with consumer affairs the fcc and considering legal action in small claims court
Not working correctly
The Google Fiber App is not working as it should. It’s not showing my account picture as well as the account details. I cannot see what I owe or anything. It doesn’t want to load up and really slow. Please fix.

Why can I NOT pay on the app??? What’s the point of having the app if you can’t do anything on it pertaining to the GFiber account?
The app chat is not good
In the app you have to give the chat box your complete and undivided attention or else it will end the chat and hide the conversation you were having. Don’t do anything else while chatting or else!

I was forced to use this
I’m not impressed at all this far. I can’t even get a signal on my balcony less than 50’ from my tower. I didn’t have this problem from AT&T and I was two floors above my tower.
How awful
Such a horrible app by google’s standards. Unresponsive, doesn’t reflect reality, doesn’t have half the functionality of the web page. Google, do better.
Internet works… options don’t.
Super inconsistent. It has settings to pause connections, usually doesn’t work. I turned off the guest network to find it still active an hour later, but showing off in the app. Devices don’t show up when they are connected to the network. Just a mess. I really expect more from Google.
App works sporadically
App doesn’t consistently work. Makes it very difficult when you pause a device and then you can’t unpause. Tried to chat help and they escalated to problem but I haven’t heard back in 4 days.
Update fail
Since the most recent app update, the app won’t connect to the servers.
