Family Affair
I’ve always loved the Gap. I seem to be enjoying it more purchasing for my grandchildren. I can always find items that can be styled to meet the individual vibe of each of them. Now I still purchase for myself…kids can’t have all the fun! I appreciate the swiftness of delivery and the ease of the return process when needed.
Redirects to wrong country
It’s redirecting me to shop in Canada, but I’m based in the US. I can’t complete purchases or browse inventory properly.

The app is really irking me!! Every time I add an item to cart, it freezes and I have to start all over when searching through the categories.
New Styles
I really love Gap and their clothing (material is good quality); but, I think it’s time for a drastic change. It seems like most of the styles stay the same, just tweaked a tad! I’m no expert or creative but I’m ready for a little change!! Please

Separate out the carts !!
To the developers: PLEASE bring back the ability to have separate carts for the separate brands on the separate apps, and not ONE CART across all brands and apps!! I have ON, BR and Gap apps. I put things in carts and watch prices at each separate store. I check out accordingly FOR THAT STORE ONLY. I don’t want to buy Gap clothes in my ON app, etc. Annoying and not user-friendly!! I know I can do “save for later” but that is annoying and we should NoT be forced to do that.

I have never been motivated to write an App Review, but I am compelled to do so here because WHY is the GAP shopping app so bad? For years, I have experienced frequent slow processing on the is app when I do not experience such lag and slowness with competitor shopping apps like Target, Amazon, And others. What’s the deal GAP?

Repeated failures to deliver ordered products
I suspect Gap is wallowing in its return to popularity by failing to keep sufficient stock on hand to deliver. I deleted my app after two failed deliveries. If I have to wait a week to have Gap process an order to point of sending it into delivery system, I will use alternate fast fashion outlets. Shame on Gap for customer abuse! I stopped purchasing from Gap for a decade-and-a-half, returning only when Gap aligned with interesting design entities. Mostly pleased with online purchases but with over an hour drive (if traffic cooperates to “local” store) online competence is critical. Gap failed.

Long time Gap girl
I have been shopping at the gap for like 50 years. I’m tall and they have the best jeans sweaters dresses you name it. I’ll be a gap girl woman until the day I die. They also have the best sales.
Can’t check out shopping bag in app
Tried to use the app for the extra 15% off, but it wouldn’t ever take me to the shopping bag to checkout - clicking on the bag only led to the “offers” which then led back to items for sale! Had to give up after multiple tries and go back to the website. Do not recommend.

The app makes it easy to find what I need and calculate rewards using the points.
Sold Out Bug
There is 15% on the app but it doesn’t matter because any item you click on says sold out. Website works fine but you won’t get the 15%off
Ordering online
Easy, accurate, average time shipping. Will ship items separately if somethings are ready quicker than others.
Doesn’t work with iPad
I tried to check out or press anything in the bottom task bar and all I got was an “offers” pop up and couldn’t get to another screen. Since that’s the only was I could go to shopping cart I couldn’t checkout.

Worst Online Shopping Experience
Terrible experience. This is the third time I’ve placed an order. The payment goes through, then my order gets canceled for “fraud” reasons and the money is returned. Every time I contact customer service, they can’t explain the problem and just tell me to place a new order. I’ve tried three times and the same thing keeps happening. Very frustrating and a complete waste of time.

Make you like their clothing line if you didn't like it in the first place. Pretty much the same non inventive clothes they offer in there.
