Good enough for me to ditch cricinfo….nearly
The NBA app is the benchmark for all sports apps and the ECB have delivered one which could be the UK equivalent. Excellent but one thing missing - competition stats and a search function for old results, so I’m not quite ready to delete cricinfo.
Filters still not working
The filters have not worked for many weeks now,this has happened before and been fixed so it can’t be difficult,no doubt this is an ECB edict to force feed the franchise game in England,ESPN Cricinfo the go to app now until this is fixed
Keeps logging one out
Good app, but for some reason every time there’s a test match and I open the app it has completely forgotten who I am, and must login again. Tiresome.
Not user friendly
Why is it that so many apps get worse with time? This app is a case in point. A log in only lasts a couple of weeks. Then you enter the exact same info and your login is rejected. Pain.

i’m not sure if you know this but this app let you pick different teams if your a sports fanatic you should try this app !!!

I don’t want to see Womens nor American League nor anything else that I did not select !
Despite not selecting to show Womens and other matches, they still show. Very poor, it used to work fine.
Batters ….. names not visible?
I can’t understand why this normally excellent app now appears to show the batters reduced to 2 or three initials or letters instead of their full names.. there doesn’t appear to be any way of rectifying this, and it’s majorly annoying.
Scoreboard style needed
Come on ECB! How great would it be if your app resembled a cricket scoreboard. It could click over in the old style. All the info is already there! Any further detail can be clickable. That’s all us cricket fans need. A damn scoreboard!!
A decent app
All in all a very reasonable app. For me it’s biggest failing is the win predictor. When available, and as far as I know it’s only for test matches, it shows a light blue bar and a dark blue bar with no indication of which team is which. So I continue to be flummoxed as to what it’s telling me. Please fix this, it is so annoying.

Dreadful recent update on my iPhone, can’t read any scorecard as no players surnames get displayed! Can’t believe it , dreadful

Works a lot better now but often have to refresh the scores page. Small glitch but slightly annoying

The scorecards in the match centre are useless. You cannot see who the batters are!!
Silly scorecard
Not sure why they have changed the scorecard. Please go back to the old one as it was easier to read and nothing was wrong with it. Notifications can be a bit strange at times too it’s either constant notifications or nothing.

What have they done to this ap? It worked perfectly well until some idiot messed with it. It’s so bad it’s now virtually unusable. I’ve switched to the Cricinfo one and deleted this.
Tainted with latest update
Notifications being added were great! The new scorecard however is utterly dreadful. So hope it’s a bug and you revert back to how it was.
Resets regularly
Not bad but am bored of having to log in again after every update. Not bothering any more, will use other apps.
Doesn’t work with Chromecast
It’s OK for watching streams on your phone, but it doesn’t work with a Chromecast. When you try to cast the stream you get the ECB logo on your screen & the Chromecast hangs, whilst it keeps playing on your phone screen! Other than that, it’s not a bad app.

Woeful update
Just going to use the BBC sport app now. Adding more clicks to find the same info that used to be displayed. I don’t want to rotate my screen. The app was pretty much ideal before, all the info you needed with minimal fuss.
Finally, 10 major versions later…
I can disable those “Mark Wood ate a sandwich at Lords!” notifications. Been a pleasure to use this app so far this season. Seeing the games I’m interested first is great. The in-game notifications for the Women’s domestic games seem like a gift. I just don’t understand why it took sooo long.
Updates are poor
The new update has been shocking. No easy access to view figures and scroll down. Have to open up the scorecard, turns landscape and then can often only see half of the data available. Always been my go to app, but with the current update & lack of usability will be using a different app until changes made.
Oh dear!
Just when you thought it was getting better…. Why have you never returned to providing a widget or two? Such a convenient way to follow a game from your smartphone screen while travelling or sitting waiting for a call or meeting etc. And what has happened with the alert tone? A massive backward step indicates to me that the developers are great at tech but not at recognising what drives cricket fans needs. Please consider both the Widget and the Tone review seriously. Stop messing with what works. The new update does not allow you to see bowling figures without going full screen, rubbish.
DLS Par Score
This is an excellent app, which I use every day, but is it possible to show the DLS par score please? This would make the one day matches far more interesting.
Frankly not very good
This should be the definitive feed, however it continues to go wrong all too often. So much better some years ago. IF SOMETHING IS NOT BROKEN THEN PLEASE DON’T FIX IT
Why am I forced to follow Womens cricket?
Why can I not remove England women from my matches? I have no interest and I even get pop up notifications about it. Stop forcing the womens game on people.
Great
Great to have all the scores at ones fingertips with the options of when wickets go down and results being push notifications. Even better to have this wonderful option of live stream. So much better and intuitive than the 100 website!
Terrible update
Used to be a great app, latest update has made it very difficult to view scorecards. No proper designer would come up with the idea to hide half the figures, then force you to rotate your screen to see the full scorecard…
Text size too small
Like the app, but the numbers in the scorecard are too small. Nobody over 40 can read them easily. There’s plenty of room so why not make the text larger?
Used to be great - now…
This used to be such a simple and great app. Now, so much of it doesn’t work. For example, scores don’t update on the matches page, you have to click on an individual match. Also, for some reason the IPL fixtures don’t show up until the day of the game. How hard can it be to fix these issues?

Was such a good app until latest upgrade where match scores have been reduced to initials and you have to turn your phone upside down to get full scorecard. Please revert back to how it was

Fonts too small
This app used to be really good a few years ago, but slowly more and more info has been appearing on each screen. Such that most screens are now far too busy with too much info to be comfortably viewed on a smartphone screen. This has caused the font sizes to be reduced to fit everything on each screen and I now have trouble reading some of it. The scorecard screen in particular has such tiny fonts that I literally cannot read the score on an iphone screen. Yes I use reading glasses, but no other app on my phone uses such tiny fonts. Please simplify the info on each display screen and use smartphone-friendly font sizes.

Latest Update Ruined It
What were you thinking? Last year this app was terrible until it was updated earlier this year and was perfect. Now this latest update has totally ruined the look of it. Why??
No scores showing
With some matches during and after the match there is no scores. Yet during and after it shows which team is leading or won in red.

Why no video?
Hugely frustrated to have no video coverage or highlights for this NZ series. I pay a small fortune for Sky Sports, mainly for the cricket coverage, but I won’t splurge another £31 pcm for TNT. I may have to for next years Ashes, but having such limited access to winter cricket is surely hiding the game from the people it most needs to reach and keep engaged.

Not bad compared to other offers, still have problems getting the configuration right.
Scorecards cut off
The top line of the batting scorecard is consistently cut off from the display. Weird. Otherwise pretty good app. Would love to see live streaming added (like the Cricket Australia app)
Ok, when it works
This is great when it works but very frustrating when it doesn't, which happens more than it should. Eg. I've had entire weeks of results go missing for days multiple times
