Great app
I've enjoyed this app for years. It's a part of my life. I feel like I couldn't sleep without it. Great stress reducer and ambient noise blocker.
Sound quality which cannot be found elsewhere
Very frustrated. I have been asked to rate this app several times in the last two or three months. I cannot get the rating pop-up to leave me alone. Therefore, I have changed my entire review to one star, just because of this.
Listening on my Laptop
I've collected all the tracks over the years and enjoyed them Glad to discover we can open the app on desktop now and listen on different devices. That's great Wish it took less steps to pick a track and set a timer with a fade-out. If that was simpler it'd be five stars
AirPlay
Disappointed I can only play on my iPhone other apps you can airplay to HomePod. I tried swiping from the corner to control panel and selected HomePod but still only plays on my iPhone only. Other media apps work flawlessly but not Naturespace.
Used to be great now it’s been kneecapped
When they updated the app to enable subscriptions they broke AirPlay. No longer works with HomePods. Used to be 5 star. Now zero.

Now, I’m Really Angry!!
I got a new phone and tried to redownload my previously purchased tracks. All but five worked. I have been emailing support for months with no resolution regarding those five. They say they will get back to me and never do. Now, when I go in to look at those tracks, I am prompted to purchase them again (which I am obviously not going to do). I wrote a review about this previously and saw that the developers responded, claiming that they resolved the issue the first time I messaged them and “shipped the update within 36 hours.” This is completely untrue and, in my mind, really undermines their trustworthiness! There are lots of other excellent soundscape platforms out there. I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. I am sorry I got ripped off by purchasing a permanent license to content as they are obviously now prioritizing their subscription model! Don’t make the same mistake I did.
Very Good App, but…
I would really like to have additional rain with soft thunder choices. Those types are my favorites. The existing ones are good but I pretty much have them memorized! Sounds funny because it’s just rain and thunder but each storm in nature has a unique sound and variety matters.
Air Play is not supported
Great sounds. But it does not support air play. Seems odd or like a short cut in 2026. I’ve been using the app for over a decade. But it’s clearly outdated.
I would give you 5 stars if you would stop asking me to rate the app every single time I open it!

Keeps asking me for a review
There are only a handful of apps that I use everyday and this one. Although the free soundtracks are fine, I purchased a few additional ones just to provide thankful support. Ideal for self guided meditation/naps.
Sounds are great but no support
I’ve had this app for maybe 10 years now, and the sounds and ambiances are truly great, immersive with lot of details. There’s plenty to choose from whether for sleeping or working. However, recently I’ve found out that the option to hear the previews from the catalogue is gone. No idea if this is a bug or deliberate (no reply from them weeks later), but it really puts me off from buying new tracks because sometimes even though the description sounds good, the actual thing can sound very different to what I imagined. I don’t want to risk wasting my money on something I’ll never play.
Now constantly asks for a review
I’ve been pretty happy with the app for a few years now, having purchased several tracks. But for the last few weeks, it has started asking for a review every single time I start it, which is pretty annoying
Absolutely The Best
Just updating my review to keep it fresh. I’ve used Naturespace since it’s been available for the iPhone and now have at least two dozen sound packages, or tracks, as they’re also called. The descriptions of what they do are accurate. Read Time Magazine’s review. It’s spot on. You cannot do better than this for the most immersive, 100% real, 3D soundscapes. I’d pay twice what they charge for these packs. They have brought me so much relaxation and stress reduction. I use them many times a week and they are wonderful.
Crashes constantly since update
As title. Yes, deleting and reinstalling fixes, but then there are several gigs of sounds to re-download also. Not everyone has unlimited data! Plus, I am then required to tediously hand alphabetize my entire library to find stuff. How many updates until you provide an option for automatic alphabetical listing and/or have folders that completely mimic the organization found in the store?
Love how detailed the sounds are
Favourite relaxing/fall asleep app, great choice of tracks. One minor, but big for me: lack to save multiple sleep settings so that I don’t have to change every time.

Tolle Sounds, schlechte Bedienung
Zunächst vorweg: die Sounds sind top und um Welten besser als die der Konkurrenz. Zum Einschlafen im Flugzeug oder zu Hause das Beste, das es gibt. Aber… Die App selbst - und damit die Bedienung - ist ziemlich unterirdisch: Der Sleep-Timer ist unglaublich umständlich: Zuerst gewählten Sound stoppen, dann erneut auswählen, Zeit einstellen und Sound erneut starten. Will man nachträglich Zeit oder Sound anpassen, muss man alles abbrechen und das Prozedere von vorn beginnen. Warum man nicht einfach anbietet, den gerade laufenden Sound nach x Minuten zu beenden (ohne erst alles unterbrechen und neu auswählen zu müssen) ist mir schleierhaft. Des Weiteren sind die Sounds nur als ewig lange Liste verfügbar. Eine Kategorisierung- ob selbst erstellt oder die im Store bereits vorhandene Einteilung - gibt es nicht. Man kann allenfalls den Store aufrufen, dort seinen Sound schön in Kategorien suche und von dort abspielen. Unnötig umständlich. Allgemein ist die UI noch immer im Wesentlichen die von vor fast zehn Jahren! Updates gibt es sehr sehr selten. Auch neue Sounds kommen alle Jubeljahre mal - seit einigen Jahren gar nix mehr. Man fragt sich, wie man eine simple „Sound-Abspiel-App“ so unnötig kommt kompliziert und schwer bedienbar machen kann. All das ist wirklich schade, denn die reinen Sounds sind wie gesagt einzigartig gut. Da ich sie aber aufgrund der schlechten App nur selten nutzen kann, gebe ich lediglich 3 Sterne.
Every day
I’ve had the Naturespace app for many years. I play this app every day at some point and it is 99% what I use for ambient noise when I’m sleeping. I love everything about it. I do miss the big scenes for the tracks though. Once my eyes are closed, it doesn’t matter.
Was Great till it broke
They changed to a subscription service. I've lost my entire library. No reply from support. I was a supporter for years.
Stopped working on iOS 18 (since fixed)
Like another reviewer says, on iOS 18 the app didn’t work. Crashed when you set a sleep or wake timer. I reported three times by email since the first developer beta and never a reply. Update: now thankfully fixed, so I’ve increased the rating. I’d like to see this app keep improving because the sounds are so good, but the UI is clunky.
New version a let down.
Used to be great, latest update seems to have removed AirPlay functionality for purchased tracks. A real shame.
Great soundscapes, but...
Brilliant soundscapes. I mean really! Utterly brilliant and realistic. It's my 'go-to' app whenever I want to create a sense of peace and tranquility. It's a pity that there are many new non-natural soundscapes in the library; I think they'd be better suited to a separate app. The 'sleep timer' is poorly thought out and cumbersome to set up. Naturespace needs to overhaul this anad make it simpler to use. Otherwise, a good app all round.

I use this app all the time. Well made!
Can’t access what was already paid for because they want to force a subscription model.
Used to love this app and used it daily. I bought almost every track but since they switched to a monthly subscription I lost access to everything. Literally everything. All of the tracks I purchased I can no longer use and I can’t restore them. I will not reward a company for greed and taking back what was already sold by subscribing to their revised “service”.
I just dreamed about this insomnia app
Dreamed this app (for real) released an update responding to people’s many requests for a “desert wind” track. There were multiple responses in the comments: “Desert Wind, finally!” (My dream had comments.) A detailed blog post explained how hard it was to record: “When there’s wind in the desert, it means there’s a sand storm. But we finally managed.” I woke up and checked to see if it was true... Five stars to hear “Dream of the Desert Wind”? True story. (Oh, and another vote for a simpler timer. I use my iPhone clock timer to “stop playing” “when timer ends.” But it’d be nicer if that was one step in the app.)
Originally grandiose, but…

Don’t know how to change the language
Nice apps! But I have a problem, I downloaded it with my iPad and iPhone but it comes two different language (simply Chinese and English), I can’t find where to change the language in the setting!
Can’t sleep
I love this app because when I can’t sleep, I put this on because I can sleep so well when I go camping. It makes me feel like I’m actually camping.
What happened to AirPlay
Latest update has taken away the ability to send the sounds to any speakers? What the heck? Just made a great app worthless.
My go too app
This has been an app I always go back too time and time again. Especially on sleepless nights, it helps to lull me off to sleep. The only downside is that I can't use my app on my phone as well as my iPad as you'd have to buy them all again. Pity you can't have an account with your purchased sounds to your phone and tablets.

I’ve spent a lot of money on this app over the last few years. When transferring to my latest phone none of my previous purchases will restore. Disappointed that I’ve spent nearly $50 On this app to find out I need to buy everything again on a new device.
Nice but expensive
Great little app with a few very nice relaxing sounds. I have a few similar apps and for about $3 you can get a full version with all the sounds. With this app $3 gets you one sound, and getting them all is SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS. I recommend the Ambience app instead which for $3 gives you hundreds of sounds!! $75 is outrageous.

Subscription! No thanks
Under the old model I bought five or six tracks for about $5 each. I don’t listen to them often, so a total investment of $30 isn’t too bad. Under the new model I’d have to pay $100 a year, every year, to do the same thing. I’m not made of money, so no thanks.
Sort out the timer
This app is fantastic, but can you re-instate the timer rather than the awful 'sleep mode'? I used to be able to pick a tune, then set it to go off after however long. The way the current version works is regressive.
Needs An Upgrade
This is a really great app, but it really needs to be updated regularly to keep up with new OS's. Hopefully one is coming. My low rating will be updated when it has.

Wonderful Sounds! But please remove this crappy 5 preview limitation completely! I have no time to wait days to weeks, I wanna buy some NOW, not never! This is just too frustrating to start the app again! Yes, you feel it, I really need relaxation to calm down! I see no reason for this limitation! Remove it for 5 stars! ;)

Ik had deze app al eerder op mijn iPhone. En was en ben daar nog zeer tevreden over.zo tevreden dat ik behoorlijk geïnvesteerd heb in deze app door nieuwe geluidsopnamen te kopen. Wat ik nu wel erg jammer vind is dat het lijkt of dat ik alles opnieuw moet aanschaffen nu ik de app ook op mijn iPad heb gezet.
