the best!!
Great speedtest!! yayayayaa
If you add megabytes per second testing I will use this app and make review 5 stars
Goodbye
Good app with one small caveat
I mean don't get wrong it's a good app but it is a little silly that you can only favourite up to 5 things on The down detector that is far from enough.
Bug!
I've been using this brilliant app over a years. For 2 days now it has stopped working completely. Delete, reinstall, still this same. Pls fix it!
Great app but with a problem.
I’ve been using this app everyday for over a year now, as my hobby, hundreds of tests, all on my account, but it’s missing now, I’ve not deleted any of the data, and it’s really annoying me as this is my daily hobby, as I upload the data to an coverage site, doing tests today thinking it’ll save, only to go & try to export it, all missing, please fix the data as I need it for daily purposes.
It tests speed
I know that sounds daft as that’s what it should do but it just does that. Really well IMO.
No longer works, just ads
This app used to work but now in Jun 2026 it runs the download test then starts the upload test but stops to cover the functional controls with an ad then reports the speed as zero! Now utterly useless.
Needs higher scales
We need to go above 1000mbps now as there are broadband speeds in the UK that can now hit 2500 mbps
Needs Adjusting
Since the latest update the upload and download speeds have been moved into boxes at the top of the app but they are set too far apart and the download speed is obscured on the screen as it’s too far to the right.
Good Speedtester
Goes the job, but, I didn’t like the amount of third party vendors that this app shares, but they can be turned off in settings.
Really useful
Really really useful!! 🥳 and well worth £0.99 for ad removal👌
Error- Test failed to complete.
Latest version doesn’t complete a test.
Speed Test Deletion
When you delete a historic speed test after performing the test you would think it would be deleted for good. However if you close the app and go back into the historic test results the deleted test result reappears, after a second deletion the test result stays deleted, should the historic test result not stay deleted after the first deletion?
Get rid of the awful video adds
The invasive video ads somehow follow you even after you switch to a different app! Not acceptable, guys. Always been a great app, don't start making people delete and switch.
Speed test great
But the comparison is terrible considering it’s a mobile app you would assume it would as if your on WiFi or mobile data and give a comparison based on that of course virgin media will be better than three lol
Love it
Love it
App screen too big
For a while now the app results have been too big for the iPhone screen. The download and upload results are past the edges of the screen.
Liquid Glass
Amazing app, but it needs to update a bit more and match current iOS and have native support for liquid glass features!
Now almost unusable
The introduction of the advert for Apple makes this almost unusable. It pops very quickly and once it's there you can't get rid of it more than a few seconds. And if the Apple marketing team are reading this, it's annoying the hell out of a one of your customers!
Problem
I have always rated this as the best Speedtest app however after downloading the apple beta latest version I now can’t get the app to work. Would the developer please look into this issue to see if more people have the same problem. I use iPhone pro max 16 ultra at one year old. Many thanks
Downdetector, so slow to load.
Update:: too many attempts to tweak the app it’s just ruining it!! Bring back Downdetector as a separate app please! It’s needed more than a speed test! The Downdetector embedded in this app is substandard and takes forever to load - especially if broadband internet drops and device just switched to mobile data. Oh, and why only a three favourites when most folks use dozens of different services. Please continue with the separate Downdetector app!! It’s a waste having the two functions in the one app.
Uugh Intrusive ads again
Good app but too many ads on the free version. I now use meteor instead (no ads and free) Why do apps keep shooting themselves in the foot for greed
Good
I’ve used this App for many years now and it’s my go to WiFi testing app, no need for anything else as industry respected.
Data thief - scam app
This app used 1.6gb of data in 3 days! Someone is having my pants down! What the heck uses that much data and gives nothing in return! I’ve wasted data on many things but wow! Don’t do it! This is a scam
App Good Adverts Not!
This app use to be really and still is for a speed test. The problem these days, the page is full of advertising stuff.
VPN
Hi, why the VPN is not showing/ disappeared from the iOS app
5g Speeds
5g Speeds don’t seem correct since last update
VPN premium not working
The app will not allow me to purchase VPN premium so I cannot give this more than 2*. The speedtester works well.
The Best Speedtester
Have been using this App for years, great interface, easy to use & I have compared it with Broadband engineers readings when they’ve installed new fibre or other work at my house, and it matches their readings exactly. I really like the fact the Developers are always looking to improve the App especially integrating data from eg Downdetector.
Trash
Does not work with data I tried testing speed never works and can barely find test server
Sausages
Best there is
No account.
Some bloody greebo has had his fingers in the pie again. Now the app tells me I don’t have an account for Speedtest which I purchased years ago and has hundreds of results piled up BUT TODAY - no account, no results although when I enter my details I get no adds?!?!?!? So maybe the greebo can sort out what he’s done wrong with the latest update, I’m sure I’m not alone. Stop dicking about.
Useful
Very useful and has a lot of other stuff
Bring back Ookla!
You can tell that this app has been bought out as there is no soul to it. Been using it most days for years and it’s now so unreliable that I barely remember it’s there.
