Please add support for old Toyota’s
I loved LiveOne but ever since Toyota decided to kill off Entune I has no use for it. Please add support for the car so I can keep using it!!!!!
Hot Tamale
iPhone 7 Pro gets hot when streaming with this app.
Terrible Change to Favorite Mashup
LiveOne used to be a great app. The Favorite Mashup Station played mostly the songs I had hearted or favorited, with only a few random suggestions mixed in. Recently, that has changed a lot. Now it plays too many random suggestions that are not close to what I like. Maybe 1 in 5 songs are one Thar o favorites. Deleting live one.
There’s an issue
I have been using this app for years (back when it was Slacker). I’ve always preferred it over other music apps, but the last few months every single time I use the app, my phone (iPhone) overheats and the battery is drained within an hour. I’ve patiently waited for an update to the app, but nothing yet. Very disappointing because I can’t use the app unless this issue is resolved. I don’t want to carry a hot phone around just to listen to music for an hour before the phone dies.
Should be three stars
I gave the five stars to the review that "Slacker was better. Previously downloaded songs are now reduced to 30 clips. Upgrades tend to actually be downgrades. I’ve stopped upgrading. I still listen to LiveOne Music, listening to only the genre at the moment.
Battery hog
This app is a needless battery hog on my phone. I can stream other music stations and this uses 5X the battery compared to others. The good things about this app are the stations are decent and has reasonable ads without subscription. If it weren’t for the battery usage I would use it more.
Long time user, first complaint ever.
I’ve been using this app since its inception, back when it was Yahoo Radio, then Slacker Radio, the Live x Live, then Live One. This will be my first complaint. Why the unnecessary remixes of songs? I want to listen to the original 1979 song by Smashing Pumpkins, not some weird remix. I don’t want to listen to a remix of an Ace of Base song, I want to hear the actual Ace of Base song. If you want to play remixes of songs from different decades, then generate a station that plays only remixes of rock and pop songs. But leave the originals where they belong. This just distracts from the experience as a listener.
A lot of problems lately.
Keeps saying I’m not connected to the internet, when I clearly am. Then when I close it down and reopen, it won’t load up. When it finally does open it wants me to sign in, but it won’t let me. Then it eventually starts working again for a bit before it repeats this whole process. Lost my account due to this and had to start over. Now it’s doing it again. Come on Live One, get your app to work properly!
Drains battery
The station selection is great, especially for the price, but with the latest iOS update, it eats my battery like there’s no tomorrow, and makes my phone overheat.
The curated stations are simply the best
The curated stations are simply the best. Thoughtful and entertaining stations keep me coming back! The algorithms for related songs and artists can sometimes be a bit off target; there’s always room for improvement. Absolutely recommend!
Drains battery and overheats phone
This had been a great app at one point, and stations are great still if I try it, but the app is currently so poorly written that it drains my phone by 5% or more for just a single song, and overheats my phone with all the cpu it overuses. As an app it’s unusable in its current state.
Review
My only complaint is when I put a song on my playlist I pick a version and then when I update my list, it changes to a live version of the song or a remake. I really don’t like that. Other than that I love it!!!!
Literally causes my phone to overheat
I only use this app at the gym and off the charger and in the past 2 weeks it causes my phone to overheat and the battery to drain terribly. Not sure if this is related to ios26 or a memory leak but it would be great if they would fix this. Ive had this app since it was OG Slacker Radio and rarely go a day or 2 without using it.
Round 2
I believe this site used to be slacker.com. I liked it back then around 11 or 12 years ago. It was my first customized radio stations. Pretty nice page interface with some good music in their library. Sometimes I wondered how certain songs were picked for each genre. Although, after some time I could finally mold each station towards what i wanted. In the last 5 years or so I experienced some technical problems at least with my android, not necessarily my laptop. But it's finally good to hear that most of those problems have been taken care of. Not so sure about my firestick app. For those people cutting this site / app for the music library. Hold your horses, cause what else do you have to compare to pandora? Yes i do like pandora but no reason to put down this based on library size. Because there are songs here that are not on pandora and vice versa.
When it was Slacker
It was perfect. Not now
Too HOT
Can some fix the app please? Im on iphone 17 pro and this app overheats my phone and drains the battery.
Streams good
Music streaming is very fluent. They play alternate versions of certain songs that you don’t hear on other platforms. Four stars because I wish they had cross fading capabilities.
Still Needs Work
This is my first time using this app and I will say I do like how they integrate the music and videos and shows but if they ever want to be a contender they seriously are gonna have to improve the music streaming section having a full library of the artist music is essential if your gonna call your self a music streaming app. It does need a lot of work and at this point I don’t see the company making the effort to put in that work.
Not worth it. Feels old and undeveloped
Music always get's interrupted with short 1 minute synopsis of the artist playing next...Like don't really care, just play the music! Add free $3 sub gives you unlimited skip but you can't jump back to the previous song unless you pay for the $10 sub. Spotify free gives you skips, rewinds and scrubbing...for free. AND Spotify "made for you" stations is spot on, giving you vibes. LiveOne has no such feature. All the playlists and stations are so scrambled and outdated. AND if you dislike a song, they'll still play it after a while. Their music library is also lacking and some hiding behind $10 sub for albums that came out years ago. I can feel them reaching for my wallet with nothing in return and it's disgusting.
Heat and battery issues
Love this app. The heat and battery issues since the last iso update had me soured on the app. However there is a solution go to settings and to privacy and security turn off all the improvement tracking items and instant fix
Drains battery even when charging
At some point there was an update that just kills this app. iPhone 15 gets hot and battery drains in minutes, and it’s only when using this app. Shame.
App works great, but…
Where is the Apple Watch app? I want to ditch Prime, but I want to be able to go on a run without my phone.
Not able to “star” station
The app is overall fine, but there is currently a bug that does not allow you to “star” a station. Clicking the star does nothing. However you and “unstar” a station by clicking the star.
Unlimited skips no backing up
I got a free year but can’t imagine I’ll use it after. It’s not terrible and you get unlimited skips however If you skip and song and were like oh I want to listen to that sorry you can’t go backwards.
Dren
Best music app for Neo-soul
App crashes on iPad and iPhone no response from support
LiveOne stopped working on both my iPhone and ipad support has not followed up as of yet
Love this app
Had this app for like 10 years, love it, it’s a part of me now
Where did 👎go on app?
Since the update thumbs down 👎on iPhone app is missing/no longer there so the songs I don’t like keep coming up. Please fix it asap
Top 20 Country Songs Review
Music is GREAT. Advertising is the same thing over and over again gets very tiring. Same advertising AirB&B, the announcer has been the same for weeks, “He’s just a Great Dude.” Going to be a baby daddy ….. the kids is probably 2 years old now. Needs to be changed up!!!!
Music you can listen to all day and any day
Great
Drains and heats up the iPhone
Even after rebooting and going into settings-privacy,security-turn off all tracking improvements still drains the battery like crazy and heats up the iPhone. Please fix this.
Good
Good choices off music, few ads, I like it
Not worth it anymore
This is one of the most temperamental apps I’ve come across. I constantly having to switch back and forth between using WiFi and cellular data. Today alone, it’s done this no less than 7 times. And now it’s time for something else. If it’s free, that’s one thing, but I paid for a subscription and will not be renewing it
Price.
Your price is US funds only. I don’t know of any other streaming service that does that. In Canada your 3.99 plan comes to 5.44 plus 13% tax . This amount is way to high for steaming music only.
Slacker OG
Even out the playback levels so volume is consistent from track to track 😎. OTT, 👍.
Drains the battery on iOS 26
After installing iOS 26 on both an iPhone 16 Pro Max as well as a 17 Pro Max, this app drains the battery crazy fast. This morning LiveOne used 45% battery with 1 min on screen and 1hr 34m in the background. That is beyond ridiculous. Pls fix, I love this app in general.
Bad Interface
I used to subscribe to Slacker Radio then cancelled when LiveXLive took over because the interface is so difficult to navigate. I subscribe to LiveOne now (gave them another chance) but the interface is even worse. There’s nowhere to find a complete listing of their channels. It’s absolutely not intuitive. I like a lot of their stations (Indy 500, 80’s Deep Dive) but they make it so difficult to find new content. Sometimes change isn’t better.
Ticket
I want to buy ticket as a gift for my friend but one account can only buy 1 ticket. I really hope that they can change that policy.
Long time user
I've been using this app for more than 10 years, and still referred to it as Slacker. I have so many playlists and favorited songs… I will never leave this music app!!
12 year long subscription ending.
It was good while it lasted. Affordable streaming service with quality music turned into a data collection service. I don’t know what you’re attempting to do but no other app on this phone makes my battery overheat. Moving on to Spotify. Buh bye.
Not recommended
I loved this app until they started to put bad news channels on it. I would rather only here stuff that’s news worthy
Volume
Your vo,use needs to be higher thank you Kerry
Great app
Love this app and a great value. Music therapy!
Great Music, Flawed App
I’ve had this app for years. Recently it’s developed a problem where it overheats the phone and the battery use is off the charts. 1% used per minute. Support is useless. I’m waiting one more cycle before canceling.
Enjoy it while it lasts but don’t fall in love with it.
To be honest, i liked the app. I didn’t mind the news interruptions or the ads every few songs. However at one point all of a sudden i couldn’t stream it from my tv without a subscription, then just today i can’t listen to the station i like because now it’s available only for subscribers. Yeah, i’m sure it is. That’s all fine, but in my opinion its really just a greasy way to get ppl to pay for your app. I don’t think i will because of it.
Pay for good experience
Slacker (now LiveXLive) is good if you’re willing to pay for a music streaming service, but then why not just go to Spotify...
