If skiing was a souls-like
Thought a skiing game was going to be relaxing? Better think again! You will die. Over and over again. You will (eventually) succeed through sheer determination, skill, or luck. Addicting game. 10/10
Spielstand verloren, Synchronisierung geht nicht
Ich mag das Spiel selbst wirklich. Allerdings funktioniert die Synchronisierung des Spielstands nicht. Nicht zwischen mehreren Geräten. Und nach der Neuinstallation der App auf meinem Telefon war der Spielstand ganz weg 😞
Beautiful Game
I love this game, it has a bit of a learning curve… But once you get the hang of the controls, it’s extremely addicting. The game progression is rewarding, unlocking new lifts and slopes as you improve. And above all else… it is a beautiful game! Both from an art standpoint and from a mechanics standpoint everything simply looks and feels smooth. My biggest critique is that I would love to be able to listen to my own music while playing the game, but it simply doesn’t seem possible?
Lower the camera angle
The camera angle is awful. Makes me sick. Needs to be behind the character a little more rather than nearly directly above. Cool game otherwise.

Please remove blurry effects or allow to disable. I want to see the whole area clearly without blurring far areas. 2 stars because i hate this effect.

The game itself is fun, but the zoom options are lacking, and the camera moves so slowly it’s almost impossible to play the harder levels
My favorite game on iPad
This captures skiing better then any other game. Just exploring the world skiing through trees and flipping of cliffs and cat tracks is super fun. Very chill. I love the perspective although it’s unusual.

Great game
I think this game is great and I highly recommend this but one thing is that I wish I could just ski and not have to complete hard trails to unlock lifts. I would recommend making an open world mode where you can just play for fun. Other than that great game I really enjoy it.
Horrible Controls
Controls are bad, arbitrary, and inconsistent based on the viewpoint, which is constantly changing.

Game has everything you’d want except one important thing…camera is zoomed out a whole football field even with Near camera on my 13 pro. I have to squint at the 3mm tall char in middle of screen, too bad devs

This game is really fun and me and my mom this ski season there is no snow so we play this game together and it really feels kind of the same as normal skiing. Also when #2 comes out plz put it on Apple Arcade plz plz plz plz plz.
Fiddly controls
This game is incredibly frustrating. It’s a ton of fun exploring but the controls are atrocious. It’s great that they’ve kept things simple but you’re constantly battling with them. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve crashed because I started to spin or flip while trying to just spread in a jump. The same thing happens when trying to stop. Easily 90% of the challenge isn’t timing turns or jumps but just fighting the controls.

Great game! My only issue is that for some reason when I go into the app, my music gets about half as loud as it should be.
Frustrating
Nothing says a relaxing skiing game like horrible controls that are overly sensitive, most of your objectives being skiing through gates, the others that are skiing onto buildings (whyyy), or camera angles so bad you don’t know what’s happening half the time. I would avoid this one. Not fun, hugely annoying and frustrating.
Gets too difficult too fast
The game is very fun to play, however, after like 20 minutes of play you're on black diamond trails that are impossible to get past. It would be nice progress with more beginner & intermediate trails instead.

Honestly it’s hard to find decent games these days and this one checks all the boxes. Challenging yet fun just skiing around, intuitive, multiple slopes and challenges. I’d love to see different iterations such as bmx, motocross, snowboarding, tubing everything! Please keep making more games you’re doing it right

Fix the camera
I get that when doing sharp corners the camera would be flying all over the place but there is way too much Delay. When trying to line yourself up for a rail or something that requires precise movements, the camera doesn’t adjust to your angle, this makes it very hard to get setup for rails etc. if the devs could add a semi fixed camera or make it less dynamic that would be awesome. Other than this I have no complaints, great game and I would highly recommend

Great game, very soothing
This is one of the most relaxing and fun games I've played in a while. Music is very soothing, as are the aesthetics. Only request I'd have would be to have an even nearer camera, as it's a bit difficult to gauge the riders orientation sometimes when doing flips. But not enough to even take away a half star; the game is so well done. Thank you, devs!
Punching Children
On the third mountain you can only progress past the first lift by skiing down the hill and punching children. I really didn’t expect this in a sports game. I didn’t sign up for GTA on a mountain.
Transfer issue
Is there a way to transfer my data from the original game to the arcade version please I have so much progress on the original one but I can’t transfer it. Btw both of my accounts on both versions are Game Center

Ein Spiel das von jedermann zu meistern ist da die einzelnen Pisten unterschiedliche Schwierigkeitsgrade aufweisen und es immer auch einfache Aufgaben gibt. Leider weiss man oft nicht was man tun soll, z.B. „push 5 skiers“!? Man kann diese überfahren, anstupsen und durch die Gegend schieben, Punkte gibt es keine, leider sind einige der Strecken mit der fummeligen Steuerung nicht wirklich machbar und sehr freustrierend. Zudem empfehle ich den Entwicklern mal Skiurlaub zu machen um die Physik etwas realistischer gestalten zu können. ;)

This game is my fave! Thing is, I’ve pretty much gotten through every resort (secret one included) and challenge. Are there plans to add more resorts and/or challenges to current resorts?! Please say yes! It’s fun to play casually too, but I’m hoping more content will be added. Mini games would also be a welcome addition. The level of detail and polish on this game is incredible, plus the controls work well (except for when the camera occasionally doesn’t flip around to face the right direction). Thanks for your hard work on developing a great experience!

Connected my backbone 1 controller and it doesn’t have any of the controls calibrated except right trigger. Please fix, will edit review after..
No Backbone Controller support? (Yet?)
UPDATE: Developer notified me on 8/8 that Backbone Controller support is coming in the next update! Welcomed news as I begin trading for actual snowboard season! I was amped for this to come to Apple Arcade because it’s a beautiful game, but as other reviewers mentioned, Backbone controller support is lacking. (Left shoulder buttons, for example, not detected.) Had big hopes for this one, but without controller support it’s off to the digital dustbin. Disappointing for a premiere Apple Arcade game.

Gorgeous and really fun but needs a bit more polish
Absolutely beautiful graphics and sound. Gameplay is awesome. Only a couple things needed to really make it perfect. First, the camera could be better - I'd like to be able to zoom in even closer (on my iphone 13 pro max, so things are small), and camera doesn't rotate quickly enough - in fact, it would be nice if there was a semi-fixed camera that always pointed some angle downhill (based on player direction), so that even when you turn your skier around to face uphill, the camera is still pointing downhill. There are times when I've struggled to try to get facing and moving the right way, especially when amongst rocks or netting/fencing, but had trouble because the camera faced uphill (and I couldn't get a good enough idea about which way to go - just confusing). The other thing is the flags - they don't stand out nearly enough, especially when the run goes through the trees! Maybe just make them bigger!

If there was an Apple TV app for this game, I would absolutely love that because skiing using a touch controls is awful. sure I could synchronize an Xbox controller to my phone but I wanna play this game on a big screen so I can see everything, and where I’m going and what not. please find a way to get this on the Apple TV.

Unfortunately I am unable to listen to YouTube while I play. The app seems to lower the volume by an unacceptable amount when I try to listen to YouTube😞
Nice game needs optimizations on iPad
I played it on iPhone XS Max before it came to arcade. But I downloaded the arcade version on my iPad Air 2 and it really really laggy (terribly). Kindly check it out yourself. Please optimized/fix lag as soon as possible. It literally freezes. Nice game by the way.
