Passing sucks
This game would be my number one favorite but the passing is awful. You want constant interceptions this is the game for you. If they would fix the passing mechanics it would be one of the best football apps out there.
It’s fine but also it kinda sucks
You only have half a game here. You don’t even get to see your team play defense, just the outcome of some RNG. Which is too bad because what does exist in this game is reasonably fun
Quite literally the best way to spend my Sundays
During my team’s games I grind the game, and climb up the roster. This game is the funnest football game I’ve played and made me interested in football.
Unclear rules
This game takes the base retro bowl game and adds teams from the NFL, who play a similar game to retro bowl. This game has zero clear rules on how anything works. There’s two halves, having the ball and not having the ball, and if you don’t have the ball the game just shows text descriptions instead of any animations or anything. Seriously, you can’t play. The “enemy has the ball” half of the game it totally RNG, There’s blue and yellow lines on the field. Why? Who knows! Won’t be a tutorial to explain! 3rd and 15? 1st and 10? What do they mean? That’s a secret tool for the game to randomly take the ball from you. Enemy catches the ball? Instant loss of turns. Not the play, you lose ALL YOUR TURNS. But again, you can’t play “no ball” mode, so you can’t do that to the enemy. The game also claims to have 4 quarters but it’s a lie. Quarter 1 and 3 don’t do anything. When they end the next quarter starts. In quarter 3s start, the game flips a coin and randomly gives one team the ball, but even if you get the ball, you return to your own goal zone even if you were right next to the enemies. This game is incredibly frustrating with its unclear rules and inconsistent mechanics. Actually pairs it perfect with the NFL because when I tried watching the Super Bowl as a kid their game was just as confusing. On the bright side, unlike the real NFL Super Bowl, there aren’t ads. So 1 star instead of 0 for that. Thank you team.

I feel like the game is really good like very nice but they need to allow just full teams on like completely teams on exhibition mode and they need to add cpu extreme play on exhibition so the defense cpu are stronger and better to play but everything is amazing

I like this game but please fix some error, when I’m doing exhibition the teams aren’t accurate, for example if I’m using the cowboys, instead of Dak starting it’s Howell. Also please add trucking
Why it’s good
I just recently found this game and would only play the regular retro bowl but then I found out I could play retro bowl with my favorite nfl players to make it feel fun and the fact that there are more modes than just a career mode makes this game feel more better and special

This is a great game I’ve had a lot of fun playing it but I have one bug that happens constantly where choosing a team roster the choice for randomising the team presses twice I’ve no idea what causes it but it is very annoying I’ve built teams for them to be taken away due to the game deciding to press the randomise option but other than that the game is amazingly fun

I love this game but everytime I finish a game it crashes and dosent save the game i just played
Fun Game
It has a lot of potential but I’d like to see a couple systems reworked. If you’re keeping your facilities from falling into disrepair it’ll take 10 seasons to save enough coaching points to increase your salary cap. The fan approval is also very rough. +3% for a win and -14% for a loss. The Devs must have low opinion of football fans.

Controls are terrible and no help or tips on how to play. Not fun when the CPU scores all the time.
Fun, but clearly designed for IAP
This game is a lot of fun, but it’s pretty clear the in-game currency is designed to have with-app purchases in mind. It would be great if the value of coach credits was increased in this version, as you can win the Super Bowl and only have enough CC to keep one of your coaches at the end of the season. Increasing the salary cap seems like an impossibility, I can never get more than 20 CC at any time.

Crashes after week 4. Did update and still does it
Won my division and currently have 1% fan support.
Make that make sense. The fan % loss for each game loss should not be so high especially with a win giving so little fan support.

Era un excelente juego, ahora lo quisieron modernizar y lo complicaron. Cuesta mucho trabajo continuar con la temporada que tienes con tu equipo, en cada partido salen opciones que no te dejan avanzar. Regrésenlo a como estaba

Somehow went wrong，just black screen and nothing. Deleted it and reinstalled it, now looks ok but lost some saving data, sad( T_T).

Difficulty Balancing
The game is a lot of fun but needs to be balanced. Put the game on hard (second hardest difficulty) and it’s pretty easy to go 20-0 in a season. Put the game on extreme (hardest difficulty) and you go 2-15. Almost like there needs to be a difficultly in the middle
Weird economics
Its an ok game, but you basically need coins to do trades, development, etc. You start with 3 or 4 coins, after every game you get one and you need to spend it instantly to defend your players or coaches. To sign a free agent game asked for 14 coins, to fully regenerate my players energy 25 coins.
Can’t play after a certain point
Constantly play the game and love having long runs with the same team. But at the start of year 10 once you play a game, it kicks me out and the game doesn’t get saved. So now I’m stuck on week one without being able to continue. Please fix this🙏

I love the game. I love how you added all the nfl players I just have some suggestions to make the game feel more alive. Hope you hear this. Playbooks so you ca decide between a few different plays. The CFL. Update the overalls more often and the trades. Last of all have a mode that has 15 or upwards of 22 player slots for more depth and with this IR and practice squads
Very glitchy
It’s a fun game but after a while, the game will start to glitch. It will make everything super slow and barely moving.

AWESOME GAME! I recommend u get the game there are no ads u do not have to pay and the best thing is,it has NO FLAGS.no penalty yards or anything. U can actually chose to go for two or kick an extra point. It is really fun. It has a playoff and superbowl.
Playing when other team has the ball
When the other team a has the ball I don’t get to even defend the goal this is so annoying. One star

Fun game but frustrating
Have enjoyed the game but having a rage quit as interceptions seem very easy to throw. Basically if your ball touches another play then they seem to catch it, even if they’re facing away from the ball. Maybe I’m too used to Madden and lofting things over the defender’s head to a receiver who IS watching the ball. I know, I know, “get good”! But it is frustrating. Sure I’ll reinstall it soon once the annoyance wears off!
Please make a Retro Bowl ‘27 for collage
I love this game I usually play it every day but I’m a bigger collage football fan than the nfl. I would be really fun to experience all the players in collage and the rivalries.

Good game, slight frustration
Have only just started playing and enjoying it so far. The only thing that is frustrating me so far is that sometimes the game seems to be in slow motion. I have no idea why this is happening and if it is meant to be happening or not. Very annoying though, I want it to be fast paced not having to wait for what feels like minutes for the ball to reach its target. Overall though, good game
Getting better..
I have really liked that it has NFL branding and rights now. Especially at the start when picking a team you are playing with real life players. Just a few things though. It is still painfully hard to earn coins to improve staff, facilities and cap space. Takes forever and a day to build up fan moral to get on 3 coins per game bonus. And if you lose if goes down by loads and takes ages to build back up again. Also i have noticed the roster is only 10players vs 12 in the old game. This is really hard to balance i think. 12 was perfect. 10 feels nowhere near enough.

I love this game but my main gripe is since the new update my game crashes copiously, I can’t even play because as soon as it’s my turn to play the ball the game freezes and I have to restart, update immediately please! Also increase rosters! So many players are left out because of this limit
