What people like
- Much easier to use than official app
- Shows clear and useful data
- Helped spot installation problems early
- Developer responds to user feedback
What they complain about
- Connectivity fails half the time
- Updates often break the app
- Battery temperature readings are wrong
- Settings get wiped out randomly
Great app
This is a great app if you have FoxEss. Shows the data much more easily and the reporting it vastly superior to the Fox app
Stats empty
The Stats are totally empty for M1-800-E since update
Fehlerhaftes Update
App nice, but Apple Watch App for Series 7 broken
Installed the app to see stats on my watch - got error message „failed to load - tap for more >> No inverted found, ensure you are logged in on you iOS app. Installed app on iphone, created api key, logged in, did several restarts on iphone and apple watch, iPhone App works fine, Apple Watch App never worked :(
Better than main app
As others, this app is so much easier to navigate and use compared Fox own app
Good when it works
Most of the time the app gets updated it breaks the app somehow
Keeps getting better
This apps keeps getting better with every update. So much useful info provided. Keep up the great work.
The only place to charge
After searching for hours to find how to change my battery, with no help from customer services or installation company I found this app. Like the graphics showing what is happening more than the Fox house! My only complaint is that I have to keep on setting up the charging schedule as it gets wiped out for no love nor reason but not in in any consistent or logical way.
Clear and easy to use
I have been using a FoxESS based 6KW system for 2 years now and this app is better than the one supplied by the manufacturer. It is clear and easy to use and gives me the level of control I want. Thoroughly recommended.
Scheduler throwing error
While activating scheduler throwing error. Can this be sorted
Power per string
Great app, I can see how much it string of panels produce now. Thank you.
Sehr informativ
New update
I love the new update and I appreciate all the work you do and you’re responding to the old fogies to try and give options for the original version again Thank you for your professionalism. I tell everybody about your app that use SOLAR
Better than Fox’s
Good app. Very functional.
Excellent app
A great and easy app to use, much more intuitive than the FoxEss app. It’s my go to app for my solar kit.
Much better than the official app
Energy Stats is so much better than the official app which is limited in functionality and has strange confusing language. This app even helped me identify a problem with my install which would probably have gone unnoticed using just the official app and website.
Hardly works these days
This was the perfect app to monitor my fox ess solar panel, inverter and battery installation - provided clear and accurate information whenever you needed it. Sadly, it now seems to time out more often than not, unless you check at off-peak times, as in during the night or very early morning. I can only think it is now over subscribed and people are eager to view their data
Brilliant App
Brilliant App and definitely better than the original FoxEss app as well. Also able to get a rough estimate on earnings. It would be perfect if a feature could be added to specify export and import prices for different time periods due to tariff types
Danke.
Brilliant app
This app gives so much information and is broader than the Fox app. Thanks Al for great work!
