Octopus Agile
I used to think this app was really good Often saw previous days consumption and tomorrows prices before Octopus app published its data Unfortunately the prices now are no longer accurate which sadly makes it useless It’s a great pity
Useful.
A good app. Used to send me a notification about 4pm of new rates but sadly doesn’t do that anymore even tho I have enabled notifications. Still a useful app.
No electricity tariffs
Been using it for well over a year now, found it very good, stopped working on the 1.1.25, so has become useless now.
Rodney
Finding it difficult to understand . Do you have a help guide
Great tariff for overall control of Electric consumption
I use the tariff to charge my electric vehicle. It can work out more expensive however it helps if you are able to control when you use your power, and when it’s at cheaper rates you can also boost your storage battery for later when you might need it most.
Helpful reply from developer
Not showing tomorrow’s tariffs, but it seems this is to do with Octopus not the App.
Anomalies in shown prices
Very disappointed to see that half hourly rates shown on the Agile app are different on my iPad to those on my iPhone, for exactly the same period of time. How can this be of help in monitoring my usage particularly when my in-house smart meter readings are vastly different from those readings shown retrospectively in the Octopus Energy App??
Handy Little App
This app makes it a lot easier to find the best time for different cost on Octopus Agile scheme. I had a question and the developer answered within a couple of hours, great service.
Stopped working
No longer giving correct readings and rates
One of the best apps in the appstore
Had this app for a couple of years and it’s been brilliant at enabling me to track my daily usage. Recently experienced some glitches with it so contacted Rob, the developer. Within 24 hours he had applied a fix and it’s now working perfectly again. If you’re on Octopus agile this app is a must. Not only does it show the next day’s half hourly rates but is really useful to track retrospective use and as I said, see how your daily average spend per kWh is comparing with other tariffs and the price cap.
Useless
Downloaded this app after moving to Octopus. On opening it asks to sign in to Octopus which I did. Then it just sits there with a blank screen apart from asking for manual inputs of technical things like an API key which means nothing to me. No help, no guidance, no contact for help…. Rubbish.
Support feedback
I had an issue with the tariff updating when I renewed my tariff with octopus and the figures weren’t matching. I contacted app support and was helped quickly and efficiently.
Can’t get passed login screen
Good morning, I have just downloaded this app for £0.99, when i open the app it asks for my tariff, I select the correct one, and it takes me to my login on my Octopus account page, after about 5 seconds the tariff screen flashes back on and I can’t go any further without adding my tariff again and again and again,, so obviously a glitch somewhere , but does make the app unusable for me. Andrew .
Simple easier to use and understand.
Octopus app is fab no questions about this I just think of your tight as a ducks who ha like I am this is simpler and easier to set what you deem is cheaper and higher cost! Well worth the fee!!
Kept getting errors - nothing worked.
Don’t buy, logged in and then it just kept saying error. Waste of money
Mr EV
Absolutely Perfect with correct region code updated simple and clear
Be great if I could actually login
Downloaded the app and all I get is an error message telling me to log out and in again.
Amazing support
I love this app as it helps me track prices and keeps costs down. Then one day it froze and nothing I did worked. Disaster. I then contacted support and it was amazing. Rob very patiently took me through everything he could to resolve the issue. Emails flew between us. Really prompt until we got it resolved and working again. Thank you for your patience Rob and I can highly recommend this app to any of you that take saving with Octopus Agile seriously.

Great app
Good app for showing various rates during the day and the day after (day after available from 4 pm). I like the way the rates are in different colours so I can easily see when are the lowest rates and the highest, well done thank you. Use it every day to plan my electricity use. You won’t regret having this app. So glad I downloaded it.
