Saved time!
I was handwriting from peoples lives on TikTok and then I realize I could screen record and send that to iTranscribe and it would give me all the text that they were saying that I could print off, etc.. what a gift!
Malfunctions
App continually craps out and won’t upload content for transcription without deletion and other maneuvers. Glitches in this manner far too often.
Awesome app
iTranscribe “listened” to a 90 minute meeting conducted on a collaborative meeting platform and recorded everything at about an 89% rate of accuracy. Meeting members spoke with a range of accents, and the app was amazingly good at capturing the conversation.
Severe bugs
Worked well until Chinese characters recently started becoming mixed into other languages in transcriptions
Works great at first
I was very impressed with the app until I tried to export my file. I tried to export to Microsoft Word first and got the text with no formatting. Then I tried exporting to .pdf and it looked great except that the fonts were super large and turned a 2 page document into 4 or more. I couldn’t find any way to adjust it. I also tried converting the exported .pdf to Word and that was also a failure.
I love it !
I had been trying to use AI to take class note/summary from zero knowledge. I stumbled many apps. They are not (senior) user friendly , not too accurate, too many steps, not enough language support …. When I tried iTranscribe, it was simple one step, almost automatically ! I deleted all other apps. I thank God helping me found iTranscribe.
Immediately charged a fee
I waned to try for free and was immediately charged for the annual amount and I could not get reimbursed although I had also immediately cancelled it. Very disappointed.

It’s nice but I wish it had an option to add the name and stamp times when they don’t separate the audio correctly. But so far it’s good enough? I don’t think I will keep for long.

Did the job well
Overall very good. Only point to mention is that only a handful of languages can be transcribed via the import file option. So I had to do the transcribe via the Live Transcribe.

I enjoyed iTranscribe some words were a bit off so pronunciation of speaker really matters for accuracy of the transcription but on the whole I enjoyed using it .

Live-Transkribierung
Es hat sehr gut funktioniert. Ich weiß nicht ob es daran lag dass das Audio über Lautsprecher liegt oder es generell ein Thema/Bug bei der Live-Transkrebierung ist das manche Wörter falsch verstanden werden. Dadurch musste ich den Text im Nachgang leider noch etwas länger verbessern/ zusätzlich durch ein KI-Tool laufen lassen.

Waste of money. Slick how you download and then get charged for a “ free trial”. I kept it 10 minutes, discovered it sucks and cancelled free trial
Quite good
Takes a while to load big files. Really good free trial, which was useful for a 1 off job. Text is fairly accurate but with a some typos.
Rubbish
I downloaded the app to translate a polish video, did ended up without no meaning. Then I tried in English to check if actually translated nope, it doesn’t even write anything like what people say it. Rubbish
Problem for French language
When I import an audio file, it asks the language of the file, I don’t see French in the list because my file is in French.

This app was ok. It had good features and frustrating ones. Maybe if your doing the 3 day trial give a notice before actually paying $10. Otherwise pretty good.

How does it work
I downloaded the free trial as I have Parkinson’s disease and have great difficulty in typing emails and texts I thought. This might be the answer to my problem but can’t find even a. User guide.it seems far too complicated for my. Little. Brain to take in so am canceling my subscription from today 8th May 2023.
Use It, It’s Worth It
The app is super easy to use and is worth having on your phone. You never know when you may need it, but it will be the o key app you’ll need to use, once you have it!
Recorded next to nothing.
Please correct me if this was possibly user error, but unless I was yelling directly into the microphone it wasn’t picking anything up. A couple words here and there- incorrectly at that. I use the microphone regularly with other applications without an issue, but this was a struggle to get a response from. I deleted it right away.
