one with one quiz game not working :(
in the one with one event that released today, the background music of the quiz game doesnt turn off, playing over the song intro players are meant to be guessing so that we cannot hear the song at all. when i tried turning bgm off, it turned off the song intro music in the quiz as well, so it is essentially currently unplayable :( hopefully this is fixable? it looks like a fun mini game
Love the game, hate the system
I honestly hesitated to write a review because I do really like the game at its base functions. It’s a fun rhythm game, but I’ve reached a point in the game where it feels like I am paying to play. I’ve pc’d all the songs lvl 28 and down, I’ve got most easily attainable achievements, I’ve got a lot of the cards I want, great looking game, amazing art, great mechanics, very accessible. What got me, is that I went and scouted for a card, the one card I really wanted out of this game, a global exclusive, and spent over $300 and didn’t get it. That sounds like a stupid thing, to complain about the gacha system within this game, but to be honest, it discouraged me from having motivation to play the game. It doesn’t seem like im gonna get a reward that’s worth my effort. It might just be a personal thing so don’t take my word at face value, I just wanted to say that I was kind of disappointed because I did really enjoy this game until I threw over 300 dollars out and got nothing out of it.

Enstars ruined my life
This game is a cruel mistress. I hate it. I hear them in my sleep…. Ensemble stars…. Pretty boys appear when I close my eyes. It’s been years now. I redownloaded to satiate my rhythm game addiction. It is maddening. I am overwhelmed and scared. It’s so bright and loud. Dear god, the stimulation incantation has been spoken. Save yourself quickly before it’s too late.

Fun game but I can’t get the FREAKING Hiiro birthday card because the gacha system SUCKS. Please please PLEASE LET ME HAVE HIIRO AND HAJIME I BEG YOU!! PLEASE JUST MAKE THE GACHA BETTER AND CHEAPER!!
UI and customer service sucks
Genuinely one of the worst customer support service I ever experienced. None of my interactions with them ever solve my issue. My latest issue is regarding their awful UI overhaul which cause my 30 BP live to be lost with no compensation. I only rate it a 2 because the game itself is fun but just awful errors with a company that doesn’t care

I downloaded this game I was so happy I signed in. I did everything. But then when I actually started playing it, there’s no sounds.. I have an iPhone 16 so I don’t think it’s the phone that is crashing out plz tell me how to fix it asapppp
Love it but hate the new update
Been playing since this game was released but the recent update made me hate the new layout as well as the text font, color of the note bubbles as well as the scouting stage. Overall still love the character and the game just not happy with the new update is all.

Love this game to death but it’s starting to randomly crash when I’ve never had that happened to me?? And it’s literally just a specific song which is colors arise… ive redownloaded this game like 3 times and it’s the same thing heeeelelllppp I even asked support ingame

I have absolutely been obsessed with this game, but I can no longer play it with the new update. It’s making my device no longer suitable for the gameplay just because it’s not shiny new technology. I miss being able to play and would love to give the five stars if I could just be able to play it again with my device. So, if the Ensemble Stars team is listening, please fix this so I can enjoy your game again! By leaving behind some older devices you are at risk of leaving your fans behind too.

Forces play, no setting access
Ive been kinda playing for a couple days and when I went to log in today for credit, not feeling well, it forced me into a play session I was not up to. I couldnt do anything else, interact with the menu, exiting the song didnt help. Since I couldnt do one simple log in, or edit accessibility settings while being forced through tutorial I wasnt expecting, I wont be investing time here. Shame, looked fun.
cool game but it gives me dysphoria
hey overall this game is rlly cool looking, i just got it but theres something that i dont like. i hate it how it immediately assumes the user as female, and as a trans man, the gender dysphoria i get from this is very high, and while some might say ‘oh its just a game’ its the buildup of all the gender dysphoria over time that makes it feel so intense. is there a chance you could update this?

I really like this game but…
The fact that there’s a cap on how many cards you can hold is frustrating. You can use gems to increase it but only a certain number of times (15) before that is capped as well :( I wish they would just have it so you can permanently and infinitely increase your limit with gems so you can hold more cards. It makes no sense why they would cap it. You can’t even expand it past that with money instead. You reach the max and that’s it. Edit: did a big UI update, and it does look great. However it’s been a year or so since I wrote this review originally and you still cannot further upgrade your card limit. You also still cant filter your songs by those that you have not full combo’d yet. Every other rhythm game I’ve played (Hatsune miku colourful stage, bang dream, d4dj groovy mix) dont even HAVE card limits to begin with, and in the first 2 I just mentioned you can filter by those missing the full combo. It makes ensemble stars the most annoying to play and if I hadn’t invested so much time into it I would have uninstalled by now

So fun! The quality of this game is unbelievable. They really put in a lot of work and thought into each character and live performance. Love this!
REMOVE THE ARROW NOTES
Look, the game is actually interesting, but the story could use a little more…. Everything. It’s just plain old boring, but that’s not what I’m coming here to complain about. I actually wanted to discuss the situation on the arrow notes. At least create a feature where it tells you which way to go because as someone with dyslexia and adhd as well as autism, I often forget which is right and left so either remove the notes entirely or remove them. You could use the one I had first suggested but It’s likely not going to happen so, would you kindly, please remove the arrow notes :) ❤️.
Problem with Live Glitch
Hello Team! I am so happy that I found this game on iOS it is very elaborate, fun, and enjoyable to follow the story line, the events and the live music is amazing. I have one bug problem that made me honestly get cold towards the game a little which is the live show when I play sometimes it glitches. The glitch is messing up my rhythm and most times i lose my combo! That makes me so sad because I want to play without this issue. For context my phone is up to date and contacted the support in game setting but I also wanted the team to know through this review I humbly ask for a solution. My phone is iPhone X (according to the description i should not have a problem. I also put the live setting on CG only and turned off 3D mode to make it less glitchy) Thank you again it really is an amazing game! I especially am in love with Eden! Their songs are amazing! best regards 🙏

As a new player, I just started I have a lot to say about the start in general The more I play, I’ll probably edit this But I hate how the game forces you to do the tutorial first, I get we need to learn to navigate but at least let me change the speed before I start my first live show It’s wayyyy too slow and I’d much rather change it before starting anything Another thing, I’d rather explore everything first before jumping head first into the game. I’ve been playing this game for a year on my phone but the notes lag when they’re falling on my new iPad for some reason. I’ve never had this problem on my phone.

Great game if you love idol and rhythm games
I’m a bit of a spender on this game, however the beware of the gacha system. 300 pulls for a guarantee is nauseating. Although it is unlikely to happen, the fact that the chance is there is scary. In my 2 years of playing, I’ve seen countless f2ps/whales having to go to 300 pulls just for one copy. Pros: multiplayer feature, stories to read, PC version, great graphics, lots of colours go boom boom pow. Cons: toxic childish fandom, gacha system, and burnout from manually doing lives everyday for optimal rewards.

great game, horrible lag
amazing game! very pretty, very fun, nice story, great characters, etc! i've loved playing this game, but there's just absolutely horrible lag issues. events are usually too hard to get the limited 5 star cards, cause you need way too many points to get them and there's not enough time.
Worst redeem system ever
300 pulls to redeem for the banner 5 star??? And the coins don't carry over between banners. This is just ridiculous and extremely discouraging gacha system. Probably one of the worst gachas I've encountered.

I keep repeatedly having an issue where my account is being reset after I try to add an email to it? It tells me that it has failed before sending me to the main menu and resetting my game :( Ive played the tutorial 4 times! My uid is : 6180811979 pls help :(
Double face
This game is good. However, they disbanded my favorite unit double face. I was filled with immense sadness by this decision. If they were to bring it back it would make the game even more peaker than it already is. But I will never forgive them for taking Double Face away from me. Long live Kohaku. Long live Madara. Hate the new update style
I love this game. I’ve been playing it consistently since it’s come out. I’ve seen many many update changes but this most recent one is absolutely horrendous. I hate how it looks, I hate the color, I hate the new font, I hate how bright it is. I genuinely might stop playing the game just because of how unbearable it is to look at. Please give an option where I can change this. I love this game I don’t want to have to delete it

Overall not that bad but…
Personally I just see this game as a copy of Love Live except with boy idols and different looking notes. It does have 3d music videos though but they dance like robots and to me they barely even seem to blink. Compared to Hatsune Miku: Colourful Stage the 3d music videos just look AI generated and what’s even worse is the terrible graphics. I mean no offence- the characters are well-designed but in my opinion this game needs a lot of work done to the interface’s aesthetic and also the 3DMVs. The art is really nice though for most of the levelled up cards and it makes excellent wallpaper. I am an anime fan but I would actually prefer watching the anime than playing this game. Great potential but needs a lot of work done to make it better.

The game is good. I think some beans are just overreacting it about the stupid story whatever and either way if you’re not happy about it then just create your own. That’s just like it. that’s my solution to your idiotic problem. Anyways it’s a really good game

I really enjoyed playing this game for the 11 months it’s been out so far, it has an interesting storyline, fun characters and enjoyable game play, but there is one problem with this game,, I haven’t gotten rinnes starter five star yet. I’ve been trying since the game release and have gotten ALL his other cards except this one. It really makes me sad so if I don’t get it soon I’ll delete this game tbh!!! Over all great game just more rinne and make rinniki canon!!

Posted: 2-JULY-2022 Device: iPhone X Although this app takes up quite a lot of space/storage, I didn’t mind playing it until today…. When everything changed. I was able to play LIVES with 10BP (per live), which helped as I’m a physically disabled person. BUT today, it changed to 3BP (per live) - not only is everything slow, but leveling and gameplay is now even slower. The amount of pain I received from having to play extra time on this game (today), is not worth it! I had even subscribed BUT at no time did I ever give permission to be injured or harmed in return. Developers… Either change the game back, give me a refund or give me compensation for what has occurred TODAY!

one issue
i really like this game as i like rhythm games and i ended up liking quite alot of characters and their various outfits however the events… you get 8 days to get the event card and it takes absolutely FOREVER. you need like 3,500,00 points to get it making in near impossible. i’d just like them to make it an easier target instead of numbers in the millions 😕
The writing feels…. Off.
The way the story is translated makes everything feel stiff an unnatural, it makes it feel like they aren’t actual people which really messes with the immersion of everything. There’s also what I think is a bug? At the Home Screen where the ends of some words are capitalised for seemingly no reason?
