Layering bugs and more
The game is really good i understand its still new and everything but there is a lot of bugs with layering and if you switch outfits on the wardrobe or even just click view most layers rearrange themselves, or change the colours of stuff like for some reason it changes the hair colour back to white? the designs are cute and there is a lot of really great features in this game but i really hope these glitches are fixed soon because its really irritating to spend ages creating the characters to click view and everything has changed.
Good, for a beta build.
This review is based on the 1.01 update of the game, on both an IPad and an Android phone. Pros: - Decent asset variety, and custom asset importation built in. - Many slots to save, and the ability to save hair, clothing, etc separately. - Custom posing and colouring. - An advanced layering system. Cons: - Still in beta. (According to external sources - the game itself doesn’t make this clear in the App Store or on the official site) - Buggy, especially in the layering system. - No way to group or lock layers. - UI is mostly functional, but not always well sized for a touchscreen game played on a small screen. I only know the game is in beta from social media, and it’s getting a lot of misplaced hate from people who were expecting a full, complete game. This is one of the main reasons it’s been docked a star - while I’m sure it wasn’t an intentional deception, it is still deceptive, especially for a family-friendly game that is naturally going to be played by kids, who don’t do a lot of research before downloading. Even I was confused at first, and I do research games before downloading them. A mention of the game being in beta on the download page and/or the title screen would probably get it full stars. That being said, it is good for being in beta. There are a lot of bugs, the most blatant one being the title screen being half hidden off screen (this is only on iPad mind - the title screen works fine on my phone), but the rest of the game crops… fine, with minor instances of UI overlap, but nothing that hinders use. There is the many issues with layering - it doesn’t save properly when you back out of customisation, the default layering when you add items is incredibly janky, adding and removing items can reset the layering even when the items are nowhere near each other in the layer order, and the scrolling in the layering menu is awkward, with the scroll bar that should have helped with this being too small and often impossible to use without a touchscreen pen. And the colours on items will sometimes change randomly. The asset variety is actually quite good for a beta test, and the layering system does have a lot of potential once it’s fixed and gluing/grouping layers is added. I’ve not played around much with the studio mode, so I can’t comment on that, but it seems like the base for a decent game. So you CAN use this app to make your OCs - with a lot of patience. But be aware that it is in very early beta, subject to change, and will take time to improve.

Soooo cute, just a few notes
So cute, I am in LOVE with the outfit choices -notes- • the hands keep clipping through the clothes making it look unnatural •the game won’t let me recolour the pink parts of the animorph body • certain “link options” to link a part with another doesn’t work •some accessories clip through the clothing so you can’t see it • the hair is moulded for the normal ear but changing the ear makes the area look weird because using any other ear other than the normal one keeps the round shape out of the hair
Appalled. A deeply concerning start.
What is this? I downloaded this after hearing about the hype online thinking it was going to be revolutionary, but I didn’t know how wrong I was. Here are some issues I need to address: 1. The anatomy There is only one human head. That’s insane, Gacha Club has multiple options regarding chins yet this game has an emaciated skull or nothing. Also, I would like to address the fact that there is an option for chests... this is extremely inappropriate. The fact there is a cartoon image of breasts for a game targeted for children is absolutely disgusting and inexcusable. It’s actually horrifying because these chibis are designed to look like young children and doing this is definitely suspicious and a deeply concerning start. 2. The complexity I understand detail but it gets to a point where it’s agonizing. It feels like a chore trying to create one OC, it’s supposed to be therapeutic and fun, not make me feel seventy years older!! It’s an actual joke how inconsistent everything is, the fact that the limbs for different directions are on different pages is barbaric and deeply confusing which again it really shouldn’t be!! 3. The colours My main concern is the skin tones. If I try making a racially diverse character, they end up either looking like an Oompa Loompa, grey or as white as a sheet of paper. Even Gacha Life has better options for racial inclusivity and that was made all the way back in 2018. 4. What is up with your accessories menu??? God forbid I don’t want fifty accessories on my character! I tried to delete it and the accessories menu just went into the abyss altogether. I would have still liked to have the option for future purposes!! And if I have done it wrong, that is a serious problem. I have played games like this since Gacha Life was released.I am appalled. I am not even disappointed anymore, just utterly shocked. This should have never happened and chibis should not be sexualised. Stick to Gacha darlings, you’ll thank me later after I wasted my time and my heart wasted its energy on the very short-lived adrenaline I got.
The character of death
It an good game but one problem, the patterns and when I was putting patterns on the shirt and sleeves. It forcibly kick me out and whenever I try to go to that character, it kick me out of the game, plz fix it as fast as you can
I’d stick with GL2
It was difficult to use and didn’t have much variety/options, it has great potential and I do love some of the features such as toggle on/off chest, the layering, able to have more items equipped, ect. Obviously if I used it more I’d get used to it but I’m just so used to being able to shrink the head and body proportions that it just looks cursed and throws me off. It could and probably will improve and I’m sure it will get updates (not like GL2 sob) but right now I’d stick with GL2 just cause there’s more range with the body and have more variety in items, clothes and more.

Patterns
I put the pattern option on a character’s socks, and the game just crashed. Whenever I try to click that character to edit, the game automatically closes. I can’t even edit her anymore because of this

firstly theres so much loading screens for a simple game, secondly its clearly a more detailed rip off of the game gacha life and you can tell by the similar characters and layout... third its annoying to make the characters with the layout and colour things. just play gacha life 2 instead

Problemas, bugs
Infelizmente quando tento clicar num personagem que eu estava customizando o jogo simplesmente desliga, e eu não sei o que fazer, porque não consigo mudar nada no personagem sem que o jogo saia, por favor reverem o bug, aconteceu logo após eu tentar adicionar uma textura encima de uma manga já texturizada.

I LOVE THIS GAME and I honestly think it’s a bit better than gacha life! Just one problem- the poses are a bit weird.. especially the sitting ones! 😮
Assets not checked.
It is painfully obvious they did not complete beta testing before releasing this game. Many assets simply do not work, for example: rear hairs where the ear holes will not line up no matter how you adjust them, hairs that spawn in stretched to sit on top of your characters head or float above it instead of being actually hair, sleeves that don’t line up with any tops without adjustments… this is the basic sort of stuff you’d hope to catch in beta. People are overly glazing this game because they like the art style, but in reality, it’s not better than Gacha, no matter how much people glaze it.
Its great but uh..
When I downloaded this game I thought it was gonna be like an upgraded version of Gacha life 2- but when I went to make clothing for my character the layers started glitching out and I kept having to move them back into the old layers they were in before :(( pls fix this ? 🥹 (Sorry if I sound like a grouchy Karen demanding a refund- lmao) the game is great except for that though!!! Thxxx :33

As great as it is, I need to let you know that the pattern bug is now starting to affect all of my characters despite it just coming from one slot :(

The designs and everything are amazing: the only reason I won't do 5 stars is every time I come out of customising my characters, all the layers get messed up. Even after I fix them they get messed up again
Reopening the app
It seems that whenever I try to use the patterns feature, the game will randomly shut down and I’m unable to open it up again unless I redownload it.
Great game!
For a newly released game it’s already more polished then gacha life 2. I love the details, the fact you can spawn more slots for hats and accessories and basically everything in the game. So far I adore the clothes and options we have. I won’t lie I do really want more eyes and hairs but obviously this game just released it’s really not a problem.
Love it
I’ve found it rather easy to use and I love how you can save colour palettes, the layering system, how you can keep on adding and adding which makes it much more easier when trying to do some kinds of make up or hair styles along with clothing and accessories, being able to adjust items I like a lot too as that becomes extremely extremely helpful, the sleeves so far I love. Over all for what recently came out it’s amazing and I hope I can use this to help with art block and start actually drawing myself.
Great but one bug
This game is stunning and clearly has a lot of love behind it! It’s really fun and has many options. The only issue that I have is that when trying to put patterns on one of the pant options it keeps kicking me off the game everytime i try to view the character again and I can’t change it!! Please fix this so i can use the character again :(

i love this game sooo much it’s so polished but if your new to game like this or gacha life 2 i definitely recommend watching a tutorial because some aspects of the game can be quite challenging but once you understand the mechanics it’s super easy!!!
Really Fantastic Game but…
This game is sooo good I love it so much and it’s a good replacement for Gacha life. The only problem I have with it is that the right iris on my characters keeps turning purple and I always try to change it back to the colour I wanted but every time I click away it turns purple again. It’s unfortunately ruining my experience and characters a bit but apart from that I think this game is amazing. Also one more thing I wish that I could adjust the torso without adjusting the whole body as I want to change my characters weight but it’s hard to do that when the torso always has to stay the same size. Anyway thank you for making this it’s amazing and I love it!!!
One of the biggest potential I’ve seen
I love how everything from the ui, to the character outfits is polished but some problems I’ve had is with the layers, sometimes thing will overlap and trying to fix them may cause the entire thing to overlap worse, also I feel like there are a lot less gender neutral / male things from eyes to torsos , which I’m sure will be expanded upon in future updates I have other suggestions such as when studio does get the movie feature, I hope we will be able to animate the characters better, rather than stapling screenshots together. Overall there wasn’t much to complain about nor was there much to suggest the game has some of the best potential I can imagine and I really have hope for what it can become.

This is a really fun game, and I’m having a lot of fun with it and I love the artstyle! …it DOES glitch a bunch, but seeing how recent this game is, this is actually incredibly impressive! Nice job! Still, I would kiinda like it if- like things like Gacha Life and Gacha Club- you added minigames? I’m sorry if it’s a lot to ask! I’m not like asking for it immediately, but I just want to suggest the idea. I feel like it would be a really fun little addition to the game. All in all, congratulations on how this game is going so far, and thank you for it :-)
amazing! just one thing
i absolutely love this so much, there’s loads of creative options and many colouring options which i adore!!! the only thing is when i layer something to how i want it then save that into the wardrobe, when i go back onto it another time or something, the thing i’ve layered has been put back to how it was before. i’m unsure if this is just a me problem or a bug, but either way i understand the game is in it’s early development, so i’m not really all that bothered about it👍

Great game just a few bugs (obviously expected as the game is new)
I love the game its great and fun and theres so many ways to customise characters but there is this one issue that keeps happening to me which is my game randomly closing whilst customising my character and then whenever i try to select that character to continue customising the game continues to close down, i have reinstalled and uninstalled the game many times but it keeps happening, obviously the games going to have a few bugs as its new but please can you fix this one in the next update! other than that the games amazing and i would suggest installing
