such a worthwhile app ,, i was pondering it for a while due to the ‘pay to use’ mechanic, but i don’t regret it one bit. i’m someone who struggles with several chronic illnesses , all of which make nutrition difficult for ms. seeing anna’s library of recipes was so relieving. not just the recipes , but the layout itself is super appealing to me as an autistic teenager. all around 10/10 ,, i got a lifetime membership on sale nd im loving it !! ꒰ ՞ ๑⃙⃘ ට ̫ ට ๑⃙⃘՞ ꒱
Tbh want my money back
Hey guys. You can’t charge people for a workout app that freezes every five minutes. I just got the app and it’s my second time using it and both times I’ve had technical issues. Please reach out to me to fix this or I will be escalating this issue.
GREAT
I really needed a schedule, something to stick to that allows me the flexibility needed to live my life. GROW is everything and more. I had the progress trackers and the meal plans, and you could switch out workouts if you didn’t have the right. I have it for a year and it removes the choice that held me back. Highly recommend.

Great at first
I have been following Anna for years. I started on her YouTube channel and moved to the app once it launched. At first I loved it. Lately there has not been really many new videos posted and I feel like I have to do the same work outs over and over again. Some of her newer content is much shorter workouts than her usual workouts which is frustrating. I feel like more videos are posted on her YouTube channel that should also be on the app (unless they are and I am just not seeing them). I feel if I am paying a monthly fee I should have access to all videos on the app that I am regularly tracking my progress on. Also why pay when I can just see them for free? Otherwise I love the app and have no issues with it.
Moving My Body with Intention
Started by following Anna’s YouTube videos and thought those workouts were great! Decided to give the app a go since there’s recipes along with a much bigger range of workouts! Feeling so strong after just 4-6 weeks, and I feel so good being on my feet for work, outings—anything! Love that just 20-45 minutes 4-5 times a week keeps me feeling like my best self 🥰 Thank you for this amazing app and these killer workouts! UPDATE: I’ve been using this app for almost 3 years now and while I can sometimes fall out of routine, when I’m ready to come back, workouts with Anna are all I can think about. I’ve been finding higher energy levels in the summer, and I love that I can choose to ease my way back in with beginner workouts, or go right into a killer workout! This app is so amazing—thank you Anna for creating a beautiful community where we can keep coming back to feel like our strongest selves 🤍
False advertising
I bought this app because for Black Friday she claimed for $99 you get a lifetime access. I paid $99 and the app does NOT give full access. I can’t access the main app homepage, I can’t even see the meal plans and I can’t even see the full workouts. If you’re going to advertise a lifetime access for $99, you better commit to it. Don’t false advertise.
Lots of great stuff but could be a bit better
I enjoyed her videos on YouTube and decided to get the app! It’s been a week and I love it. Initially I had some issues with the app but the technical support team were fantastic and helped me work out the kinks! So far, I find the workout plans and the tracker very helpful. I wish the meal plan could make a meal plan for the week instead of just the day as I meal prep for the week! I haven’t tried out the progress tracker yet but I don’t know if I will use it!
Before I buy - temporary rating
Hi! I’ve been following your YouTube workouts for years now but I would really love to commit to the app and have a bit more structure. As a broke college student, I need a bit more exposure what I’d be getting once I have the app. I watched the video “tour” but it’s not much of a tour. I feel a screen recording with a voice over of the app itself would be way more helpful and persuasive in pushing me to make the purchase. If I pay, can I watch the workout videos from more than just my phone? What does the tracking look like/how does it work? What do the plan structures look like and their flexibility? I need a visual rather than a run down. Thank you!
Not quite worth it
I love Anna and her workouts, but this app just didn’t meet my needs. The app is beautifully designed but some limitations made it unusable for me. You can’t filter workouts or programs by fitness level, equipment or duration. You can’t retake the custom plan quiz. You can’t view what exact equipment is required on workouts marked as requiring equipment. I also found it worked really poorly with AirPlay and screencast was not available. Several times in the middle of a workout it jumped to the cooldown and I had to restart a few times to get back to the main workout, then scrub to where I left off. For me, just searching Anna’s YouTube channel works best.

I love this app so much i discovered Anna on YouTube and absolutely loved all her stuff i soon after got her app and its great I am a vegetarian so the food ideas are great to I love how you can customize it and I like how you have the option to choose ur own music definitely worth it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Disappointed Cancelled Subscription
Unfortunately the lack of guidance in the videos were extremely unhelpful. Additionally, it is so hard to follow a workout on a phone screen. We should be allowed to cast it on a TV. Would make it a lot easier and smoother to follow. Sadly this was a no for me.

I love the workouts and I can play my own music and do these workouts anywhere anytime. Some glitches in the app that need fixing.

Je suis Anna sur YouTube depuis quelques années. J’adore ses trainings, j’adore ses vidéos. Je me suis abonnée à l’application mais honnêtement, je ne vois pas le plus value que de la suivre sur YouTube. Oui, elle a des plans d’entraînement intéressants mais rien qui ne se trouve pas sur YouTube. En fait, c’est plus complet sur YouTube, on dirait. Je trouve aussi qu’il est difficile d’adresser des commentaires au service à la clientèle ou avoir des réponses à mes questions. Je continue de recevoir des offres d’abonnement pas courriel alors que je suis déjà abonnée. Tout cela est très confus et il est difficile de comprendre comment se désabonner de l’app. Aussi, je n’arrive pas à ouvrir l’app sur mon ordinateur. Je dois brancher mon cellulaire sur Mon laptop… Beaucoup d’inconvénients. Je ne pense pas renouveler quand mon abonnement va expirer… si je trouve comment faire! lol
Best workout app I’ve ever used
Hands down the best workout app I’ve ever used. Incredible value for the money - and this app is really low priced compared to others, most of which aren’t as good. I’ve seen some serious results in just six weeks - these programs and the individual workout videos have transformed my home workouts. Plus the recipes are actually good! And I love making them for my kids too. My son is allergic to flour and he and my daughter are eating up the protein pancakes (made with oat flour). (Anna, have you considered adding a cookbook to your resume?) If you want to get strong, smash your goals, and improve your long term health, this app is 100% for you.

I’ve really enjoyed this app for the past few months. These are great, well organized workouts that are challenging and perfect for a busy schedule. I love having the recipes however I wish there was a way to pick specific recipes for the week and have it laid out as opposed to writing them down externally.
Not great…
I want to start off with saying I love Anna. I love watching Anna’s YouTube videos. It really helped me stay in shape and her videos are super simple and easy to follow. I was super excited to find out that she was coming out with an app. But when I realized you have to pay, I automatically delete it. I’m only a teenager and I’m not allowed to use online payment. I was super disappointed because I was looking forward to watching all of her amazing workouts and looking at her meal plans. I was very disappointed.
Overall nice
I love the workouts which is the most important thing, i wish there were more vegan meals and i don’t really like the music, it’s okay but it seems to be very repetitive. With better music and food options it would be a 5 stars!
Helping me reach my goals
This app is helping me reach my fitness goals through variation. It is easy to find a workout that suits my time and type needs. I live in an upstairs apartment and can’t make too much noise because I have to workout at 5am. There are plenty of “no jump” workouts that are still challenging.

I’m trying to sign up for the app but the app keeps saying sorry there are technical difficulties even after refreshing the app.

The app looks awesome but I’m 12 I can’t pay for it. I understand if there were “purchases in the app”not “purchase the app “ cause that’s how it is.I really like your work out so I really hope you can make something 😭😢😞
Constant Glitches
Now there’s only 4 workout plans? I’ve been subscribed for over two years but can’t take it anymore. I support what Anna is about and trying to do but the app is getting to the point where it’s not worth it anymore.

I don’t want to commit to pay for something without even being able to see the interface or what’s in the app. A video of you explaining what’s in the app isn’t enough …

AMAZING (best fitness app EVER)
This app was totally worth the money! The Grow with Anna app had so much for you! It has yummy healthy recipes, and, workouts to do,and ,challenges and workouts that the app only has not her YouTube channel.I am just going to say that THE GROW WITH ANNA APP WAS WORTH THE MONEY! It really helped me feel my BEST!! Hope you find this helpful!
Unthrustworthy
The app is mostly for beginners. You have to cancel the subscription on time because they not send a reminder and they don’t refund it. I feel rob because they don’t even send a reminder. I lost my trust on this application. I was 1 day late because I didn’t want the app to be cancel and now I can’t have the money back. I feel like it’s a trap not being reminded of your subscription.

So, my favourite YouTuber right now is growingannanas and when I saw that she had an app I was like “OMG IM DEFO GETTING THIS APP!” So I got the app and put in my email and password and I got on to the Home Screen. When I was was on I was clicking on the stuff but it wasn’t letting me do anything ☹️. Until I scrolled down and you had to pay. 🥺🥺. Yeah sorry Anna but never using that app again. DON’T RECOMMEND. Does look like it could be a good app if I paid for it though. 😐
Still some issues + a wish
Still loving the app except for the main issue that still hasn’t been fixed: if you click on one workout, exit and click on another, the description is still from the first one. You have to quit the app to open the workout you’re interested in. Makes it annoying to “shop” for workouts. I also would love it if it was possible to download workouts for later use (eg on vacation, I’d like to download it on wifi and play it elsewhere so it doesn’t use data). Hoping to see these changes soon, or at least the fix since this bug is really frustrating!
Love the positivity!!
I originally found Grow with Anna on YouTube and I loved all of the videos! Anna’s positive attitude and strength motivated me to get moving and I finally bought the app and I’m so glad I did! There are so many awesome workout plans which keep me on track and help me avoid debating forever over which video to do for my morning workout. The music is also great - I never thought I could work out from home because in the past I didn’t find home workouts challenging and I couldn’t stay motivated. I’ve been working out with Anna for the last year though and still going strong! Always challenged, motivated, and inspired! Thank you Anna!

I was so excited to download this app because I love your YouTube channel and I want to feel happier and more confident in my skin, just like you said. I was so sad to realize that I have to pay to start, because my parents don’t let me spend money on apps. In the future, if you have the funds, could you please create a free version? If it’s simpler and less recipes or workouts, that fine, it’s to be expected if it’s free, but I would really appreciate a free version.
The meals are not good
The workouts are fine, i am yet to see results. As someone who has followed you on youtube for a while i was excited to try the app. I did not like how there was no free trail and you were hit with a paywall- so if you do not like the app- it’s tough. The meals are not realistic. I am a teacher who wakes up at 5:30am and i get home exhausted at 5pm. The meals are nitty gritty that have to be carefully assembled. You need healthy yet realistic options. Something that can be cooked in a batch, packed and taken to work. There needs to be so many more recipe's. If you are a vegetarian all you’re being offered is chickpeas, avocado’s and tofu. All of which- i hate. Add more hot food too! The UK is cold, i can’t be eating lettuce and chickpeas all the time ❤️
Anna is the BEST!!
I found Anna on YouTube one day when I wasn’t feeling very motivated to work out. I did one random video and I’ve been hooked since then!! I’ve been inconsistent with working out for many years but after I found Anna’s YouTube videos I have been working out with her AT LEAST once a day for almost 2 months. The videos on YouTube are free, but after about a month I decided these workouts were worth something and I downloaded the paid app. I haven’t explored all the features of the app, but I love the workout tracking and the fact that I can cast to my TV or take it on the go. I love that she doesn’t talk at all during the workouts. Just the music (which is fantastic btw). I used another paid trainer app for a couple years on and off and the instructor talked a lot, as if she was talking to beginners the whole time. That’s great if you’re a beginner but I constantly found myself annoyed, thinking “just get to it already”. I definitely don’t want to be annoyed or have a negative mindset during my workouts. This app is a game changer for me! I’ll be finishing one of the 28 day challenges this week and starting her 75 hard challenge and I couldn’t be more excited!!
Lost Access to the App
I bought the yearly subscription until June 2023 and decided the pre-cancel the renewal so I don’t forget to and now the app (that I paid for) is locked behind a paywall.

I am younger and can’t afford these prices and I hope they become cheaper but I would like to say Anna’s YouTube channel is really motivating and enjoyable

It seems really well-formatted and I bet the workouts work, but I can’t afford to pay for them? A lot of younger people don’t have the money or people who are willing to pay. In the future maybe you could have a bit of the app that is free- like some workouts and meals. But I love Anna’s YT and this isn’t a hate comment or anything it’s just a general problem.

Pros, cons, suggestions
Pros: I love the simplicity of this app. I like that it offers various 30min programs. I love that you can pause your program to start a new one allowing you to go back and pick up where you left off. I love the stretching, recovery, yoga. Love the music option that allows me to set my own. Cons: I cannot handle all the jumping/high impact. I modify often. Additionally I don’t like the mix of 40min workouts with the 25-30min programs. Lastly, I think 20min abs/core is too long/intense and boring. I hope ab-day gets spread out into the other workouts and not set as its own workout day. Improvements: It would be nice if I could add workouts to my 3Xweek program, so that it’ll keep track of additional workouts, as apposed to right now only the 3 day workouts from the program are recorded. Also, there’s no history record for programs completed. Maybe a Trophy section can be added to the “Progress” section every time a program is completed. Lastly, moving forward I hope she adds warmups to ALL of the 25-30min workouts.
Recipes not available
Where’s the recipes that supposed to be available? There’s nothing there! Just some challenges e 3 workouts there! Just watch the YT video, same thing
Love this for at home workouts and recipes, just wish it included machine workout options.
I love these workouts for good home workouts. I only do the three workouts a week option because when I can get into the gym I enjoy using the machines, and I do with there options for machine workouts, (however there may be machine workouts, I just haven’t explored the app enough haha) but I do enjoy doing these for home workouts. I usually end up doing one or two a week and my mum usually does the other one or two so it works well for us.

I love Anna’s YouTube workouts but feel like the app workouts miss the mark. Disappointed and won’t be resubscribing
