Stuck with it
I’ve been using this app for three years now, and I’m not getting bored. I fit in a workout about three times a week, and Gymondo makes that easy. Great variety, great trainers (Alfred the lion and Yvonne being favourites) and I’m keeping fit whilst having fun!
Changed
I used to love this app, using it daily since 2020. Then one day it changed without warning and is now impossible to use unless you have a subscription or speak German. Biggest let down for an app with so much potential
I love this!! So I had to review
I’ve been using the app for 4 weeks now. Completed a challenge and I’m 4 weeks into a programme. The videos are easy to follow and even though I sometimes pause to catch my breath I have not found these impossible or off putting. I only came across the app on Vogue Williams Instagram and will try her program next. After coming from zero fitness I was worried it would be too hard to follow and be demotivating but I can tell my fitness has improved massively in 4 weeks and can see changes in my body, flexibility and massive changes in my mental health. So glad I found Gymondo
Poor tech
I have been using this app since the start of the pandemic. I think the classes and courses are great, however the tech is poor. I do a yoga class on the app very day and one morning all exercise classes were locked without prior warning. The app asked me to upgrade to access the locked classes so I paid for an upgrade. However, instead of upgrading my current subscription the app added another subscription to my account. So now I am paying for two subscriptions. The worst thing was that I still couldn’t access any of the classes. Whenever I try to access the class the app asks me to upgrade and then tells me that I have already upgraded. When I contacted customer support they seemed clueless and then told me the bug had been fixed and closed the ticket as resolved. However I still can’t access the classes. When I asked for my money back they told me that the issue had been fixed which is not correct. Their backend and customer service are poor which spoils the whole user experience. It is a bit of a shame as the variety and quality of the exercise classes are top standard.
Sehr zufrieden
Issue with language
I have use this app previously for the guided running. It was very helpful. However, when I recently downloaded the app to use it again, it continuously switched over to German translation despite me changing it back to English in the app setting numerous times.
Totalausfall
Loving workouts with Vogue!
Best workouts ever! Really dynamic and hits all planes of motion, great functional workouts and also Vogue makes me smile throughout with her banter! Good fun workouts, the perfect intensity! So pleased i have found this!!
Do Not Pay For Premium
I have paid for the premium, they took the money but I have had no access. After countless pleas to rectify this they have taken to just ignoring me and keeping the money. Absolutely disgusting service.
Prima
Alles individuell bestimmbar. Gut wäre, wenn man gescannte Mahlzeiten bearbeiten könnten - KI-Analyse und Wirklichkeit gehen doch stark auseinander… 😅
Not Secure per Google
I created an account online using my google credentials as offered. Go to the app to login and I can’t because google doesn’t trust their security. Guess I have to create a new account and set up billing again and cancel the google account so I don’t get double billed if I want to use the app. Not a great first impression, especially when there are plenty of competitors out there. Edit in response to developer below: I have two factor authentication setup, it did not allow me to progress. I cancelled my membership so as to not be charged.
Internetverbindung schlecht
Gymondo
Very helpful, very enojoyable, excellent workouts.
Bugs in app
Such a shame. I was looking forward to trying this app but like others have said, on signing up the app changed the language to German with no way to switch back to English. I tried to delete the app and reinstall but the same thing happened. From the reviews, it looks like this has gone on for a while with no bug fix so I’ve just deleted.
Tolle Workouts
Disappointing
I enjoy the workouts on this app, but the app itself and their team aren’t great. They renewed my yearly subscription without warning. The app is glitchy. For instance, apparently you can save 25% on your subscription if you share your referral link with a friend and they sign up. I can’t even find that link. Sometimes the app randomly logs me out and switches to German. A week ago, I contacted the team for help and they have yet to respond. It’s just not worth it - go find some free workouts on YouTube
Great so far
3 days in and great so far
Unusable
When I registered initially, it changed the language to German and I couldn’t find a way to change back to English. Second time I tried to use the app it wouldn’t let me log in, I don’t know why as it’s still in German 🤷♀️ Uninstalled!
Super App
Will not fix time zone
I open the app to see what my workout for the day is- it’s a 29 minute toning. I get a couple of errands done, walk the dog for a warmup, then open the app and magically it’s now my “day off”. I’ve put in the app that I’m on Pacific Standard Time, but for whatever reason when’s it’s the next day in Europe it counts for my app here. Such a easy thing to fix, but these clowns won’t put in the effort. As far as the workouts go? Some of them are pretty good, but I’m not super impressed with the results despite using it for a few months. I think I’ll use another app next year.
Super App

Poor customer service
As others have written in reviews, you are not notified of renewal of the subscription nor is it in your subscription area. I contacted customer services the day I received an email confirming renewal and they have refused to provide a refund. Very unhappy customer - be careful!
Content is great, app eco system is not great
After they stopped the Apple TV full fledged app (which allowed browsing are assigning programs), I had to switch to the Fire TV App. That one is sluggish and sometimes doesn't load. The iPhone App sadly does not support AirPlay - so I am left with the Fire TV app. Also in the iPhone app, one can pick Spotify? Why not I'm FireTV - but more so, why not Apple Music on an Apple Device. The worst however is the single user support. My wife cancelled her subscription as we can't fast-user-swith on the TV - originally I had my login on the Apple TV and she on Fire... What a stupid workaround- and only for those that have the luxury. Simple fix - give gymondo family accounts- with a little discount to the users from the grand total.
App und Workouts Top! 👍 Kundendienst Flop! 👎
Kundenbindung geht anders! 👎
The best 😍😍😍
Thank you very much ❤️❤️❤️
Thinks I’m German!
I usually pay £14.99 for fitness apps but due to the pandemic and the cost of living reaching an all time high, I decided to ditch the fitness subscriptions (inc the gym) and do more walking and home work outs. Downloaded this app after raving reviews and I’m beginning to think they were put on by the company. When I sign up it puts the language to German!! I can’t even change it ! It doesn’t even allow me to change it to English - automatically thinks I’m German. Not user friendly at all. Custom lost. Rubbish app. DO NOT recommend at all. Currently gone with ‘Befit’. Much better.
Super
Skeevey customer service
Workouts are fine. Didn't end up working for me long term to work out online. Skeevy customer service. I had bought an annual membership a year ago, stopped using after a month or two. Last week I see on my bank statement that the membership auto-renewed. I received no notice it would renew (I checked my email and spam). I cancelled the same day, and they would not refund the money. They just keep saying they always notify 3 days ahead of time. THEY DIDN'T. Such a scammy move to make someone pay a year's worth of something they won't use.
Kontaktieren mir bitte.
Best fitness app Iv ever used
I have used most of the fitness apps out there and I don’t want to slate any on the market because there’s something for everyone. But this is by far the best and most exciting app Iv used, all the features are great and I didn’t hesitate to buy the full package after using it for a few days. All the meals are really easy, simple recipes but still ones that are different from what I usually cook but no crazy ingredients that make it impossible to make the meals. There’s soooo many programs to choose from and definitely one for all abilities, I am recovering from an ankle operation and I still have found programs that fit with my level of mobility and fitness at the moment with the chances to increase the level as I get fitted. It’s super easy to use and I like the layouts and colours that have been chosen as features on this app, you can add and take away what you want with the exercises or nutrition plans and change things for different days or a different exercise class for that day if you’re not feeling the one they have on your plan. There’s also a points chart where you are given points for how well you’ve done with your nutrition which I think is a really nice way to reward people. The options are endless!! I promise you you won’t be disappointed. I am genuinely so excited to workout again, oh and the best feature I have found is you can link your own Spotify to the workout class so you can have your own music playing whilst the instructor is teaching the class. It’s fab!!
Had so many issues
The work outs are good but I had nothing but issues with the app. Firstly it switched to a different language then I got lock out the it take forever to load.
Musik
Sonst gute App
Glitchy app and sneaky auto renewal
A few shortcomings on the app for example where you enter what you’ve eaten and things like the video stopping just before a countdown has ended for you to put in your challenge number. I found in several videos the audio was totally out of sync with the visual, at first I thought it was my internet and restarted. I tried both on the app and the website and it was definitely the video. If you pause a video, it’s not easy to get back to where you were and if you pause too long it kicks you out completely. All quite annoying things which are really just technical issues. In addition to this, they do not send upcoming renewal reminders which I think is poor practice as most people don’t religiously check - the first thing you will note is money being taken. They rely on people forgetting and have a no-refund policy.
Dishonest
I like the app and the workouts are good but I was shocked at how there is not option that I can find anywhere on the mobile site to unsubscribe. Feels very dishonest.
I love this!
If you want that nice body that everyone wants, I recommend you this app! All apps I tried was either too hard or too easy! This one was perfect! I’ve lost so much weight! You should definitely try this out if you need help with weight lose or yoga etc.
Upgraded to yearly money taken no access
So I upgraded to the annual subscription as I was really enjoying this app previously and it’s not registered my upgrade but has happily taken my money. Really frustrating and really disappointing. There is no way to make contact with the developers via the app so I’m out of pocket and can’t access the content.
Great app, minor bug
I’ve had this app for a couple months now and love the workouts. The programs are great for keeping me on track. The only drawback is a bug where the in-app music sometimes fails to play and the video is left with people awkwardly working out in silence. The on switch for Gymondo music displays as **Gymondo_music_on**.
Not fair
Everything good in this app you have to pay for, and when you finally find something free after you do it you can’t do it again without paying for it, you are better off looking up exercises online, you know where you don’t have to pay for everything you touch.
Very good but needs workouta for postpartum Diastasis Recti
I really enjoy it however there are a lot of crunches which are really bad for most women who have had children. It would be lovely to have a program to fix diastasis recti so then we Could jump to the Other workouts or to offer alternative exercises for the core !! Please
Loving it!
Is been just a week, but I really love it!
Charged for a year of membership without notification
I used to love this app but stopped using it months ago due to health issues. Several weeks ago I was charged for another full year of membership, without any prior notice or even an invoice sent post the event. I cancelled my membership and asked for a refund a couple of weeks ago but still waiting to hear from them.. Update: I’ve sent another email to customer service with the reference quoted in the answer to my review but haven’t heard anything back. It is now more than a month since the money was taken from my account and customer service is completely ignoring all emails. Really unhappy with the service.
Spotify problems
I want to love this app. So much of it is awesome. I’m doing the TripleStrength with Luke and I am motivated every workout. I did it for a few weeks with just the Gymondo music. It works great. But trying to use it with Spotify causes the app to crash constantly. I love the idea of being able to use my own playlist, but can you please please please fix all the bugs so the app works right when you use Spotify?
Not EGLISH!
Videos are all German! Would av continued my subscription but canceling now. Can’t understand the instruction at all. It’s a shame, I really wanted to like this. Ordered because of a YouTube video I saw of Sophie.
Bugs
On some exercises video and audio are out of sync. When I stream the workout on my tv it doesn’t check it as done after I have finished.
