Nice variety classes
I started using this app because it’s affordable and the variety of classes. My favorite program so far is Body by Bri. I love her workouts and how she explains the move before you starting doing the move. I was using this app during Covid and it did help me lose they weight. I did stop but now I’m back using the app ready to lose the weight I gained.
Paying NEOU member unable to access full videos
I was a NEOU member in the past and am about to cancel my membership again. I LOVE Joseph D workouts and unfortunately when I click on his Swag and Sweat workout it shows a 45 minute timeframe but when I click on it the workout cuts off at 3 minutes and prompts me to close the app. I have tried it on my tv using the NEOU app on my fire stick and using the app on my phone. Joseph D workouts are the only reason I pay for the app if this can’t be fixed I will cancel my membership.
Love this app but slow to load
I love the variety of workouts however there are times even after restarting my iPhone that the app will just shutdown and I have the latest operating system. I happens maybe once a year! Very frustrating or else I would give this app 5 stars. Workout completion is also slow to update and the search function for classes takes a long time to load.
Meh
I like apps and programs because it keeps me accountable but I can honestly say I don’t even think I will use the full free 30 days for this. These are not complete workouts as there are no warm ups or cool downs which your muscles need. The instructors (from what I’ve seen) don’t explain why you’re doing something, no comment on form, no explanation of what you are doing before they move onto the next movement. It just seems sloppy. As for the AppleTV app…UNUSABLE!!! The remote never seems to be able to get to start program or to go back. To use this on my tv, I have to open the app on my iPad and then mirror to the tv which drains the battery of the iPad.
Needs a options to categorise
Absolutely love this app, have got my favourite programs. Is well priced for the amount of content. Just need an option to be able to categorise saved workouts so it’s easier to find regular routines. Otherwise is great. Is laggy on the Xbox sometimes compared to the iOS app.is much easier to follow on the Xbox though
Stanislav is awesome
I pretty much do One Fit work outs (except for yoga and stretching). I have made amazing progress and love his training style. IMO, the most complete and consistent trainer/coach on this app. Thanks again!
Subscription is difficult to cancel
Do not download unless you want a big hassle when you try to cancel.
Great content
Love, love, love this app. By far the best content I’ve seen on a fitness app with loads of variety and ways to work out. Only issue is how slow the app is - takes ages to load pages. When this is ironed out will give 6 stars 😃
Frustrating!!!
I subscribed to this app and was actually enjoying it... until I logged out. Now I cannot log back in! It keeps forcing me to make a new account or renew my subscription, but my subscription is already active. I’m so frustrated with this, that I’m about to just cancel my subscription and try a different exercise app.
Hangs frequently
Good library of workouts .. but lot of technical glitches.. the app frequently slows down and keeps spinning in the middle of a workout session . Phone app is somewhat better than desktop /regular web based portal ..
Something for everyone
Great variety of trainers and workouts. You never run out of workouts - always adding new ones. I love that you can filter workouts by type and duration. I also love that they have a channel on Roku so I can use my TV. I’ve nothing negative to say.
The worst
The app crashes after signing in, and I tried on 4 devices. Then when I try to cancel the trial on their website there is no way to cancel. DO NOT SIGN UP OR DOWN LOAD THIS APP. There should be a zero star rating.
App is good but glitches all the time
I enjoy the workouts however the app itself will crash and turn off or pause at random times. That’s great if you want a break during a workout but not when you are trying to meditate
Airplay
Not sure if glitch on app but does not want to connect to my airplay all my other apps connect but this one does not.
Good workouts, issues with app.
I enjoy the boot camp workouts. However, this app loads extremely slow for me and randomly pauses during workouts. This is highly frustrating when I’m in the middle of the gym and have to stop what I’m doing to reboot my app. Very embarrassing.
Amazing
I have loved this app so much. It has been life changing for me! I have had gym memberships and struggle to find time to make it there. I am able to workout at my own pace and schedule. I never expected to love the Pilates so much. Amanda Blauer classes are a MUST TRY!!
app times out, website not available, 403 errors all the time
as title says
Great variety
Love the app on my phone. Paid the membership and found it worth it. I just wish they’d invest some more time in the Fire Stick version of the app. It crashes non stop and it’s impossible to use the streaming on my tv
Would be great! If app worked.
The concept is great and I love that there are so many different workout classes. BUT the app is so glitchy. It always buffers, whether I’m on WiFi or 4G. Can’t get a workout in, very disappointing. Hopefully a new update fixed this.
Freetrial
I will start now. But they charged me for 7 day trials as well. Its not really nice!
Gets me off my couch!
NEOU is the best. This is the first app that has motivated me enough to stick to working out. The instructors are awesome and lots of variety.
Who wrote this app?
So many technical issues to even to be able to get to my profile to cancel it. Do yourself a favor and find an app who care about taking care of technical issues.
I want to love this but..
The navigation on Apple TV is awful. Purely awful. You can’t see where the cursor is at, it seems overly sensitive, and sometimes to get out of the app takes like 50 clicks. This is recent too - when I first downloaded the app back in April it was not this bad, but an updated a long the way has barely made it useable. Classes are good, and there’s variety, but they don’t seem to invest in a lot of their trainers, especially recently - they bring new ones on then it seems like they fall off after 5 classes or so and I can’t find them again.
Not off to a great start
Just signed up for 7 day Trial and the app crashes every single time I try to look at my settings and account info within the app using an iPad Mini with the latest iOS.
...
Won’t open or load. I’ve been using the app for a while now and haven’t been having issues until recently.
My favorite workout app - easy, accessible, engaging!
From a development / design perspective, I haven’t seen an app this user friendly in a loooong time. It’s extremely easy to navigate and most importantly, I love the workouts and teachers (Elissa’s my personal fav). Whether it’s a quick morning stretch, a mental pick me up, a 30 min cardio boost or a delicious yoga flow to wind down - there’s something for any mood I’m in, and hundreds of options depending on my time constraints as well. Thanks neou for making working out so accessible for me! Ps - I’m obsessed with the backdrop colors in the studio - they brighten my days!!
They will continue charge after cancelling
I cancelled in 2020 and they continue to charge me.
Good but doesn’t connect to chrome cast
It’s a great app so much variety but doesn’t seem to connect to chrome cast for me at all, really frustrating!
Good Content, Platform Needs Work
As a group fitness enthusiast, it’s really hard for me to find at home workout that compares to being studio or gym. There is a wide variety of instructors and concepts on NeoU that I’ve been able to find classes that give me a good workout and don’t cause me to roll my eyes on being overly cheesy. However, I haven’t been able to really use the app in some time because with each new update, the app seems to get glitchier and glitchier. On my Firestick, the menu gets cut off and every time I try to do a basic search, I get kicked out of the app or the screen freezes. The last few times I attempted to stream through Chrome Cast, the video either takes a few minutes to load or just gives me the spinning wheel of death. When I’m short on time and trying to fit in a quick 20-30 minute workout, the last thing I want is to struggle for 10 minutes to figure out how to get a video to play.
Good selection of classes
I like the variety of classes for all levels. The iOS app design is definitely better than the one for Apple TV which needs a lot of work.
Best variety of workouts 🔥
Love it! There’s always new workouts, keeps me moving and entertained at the same time. I’ve been doing it twice a week for a year and I see a big difference in my body ♥️
Amazing workouts but faulty app
I love the workouts. I am at an advanced level and I can still find workouts that challenge me (actually kick my butt). Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work really well. As an example, when I go to browse the list of classes I saved and I go in to read the description, the back button defaults all the way to the top of the list, which means I have to start scrolling down from the beginning and that takes too long! It’s very frustrating. I have submitted the feedback twice through the app but it has not been fixed yet. I honestly think this will be the reason I do not renew my subscription. PLEASE fix it and add other features such as allowing user to filter the “saved” list.
App not working
When I first downloaded the app I was able to do a few workouts. Amazing selection of great fitness programs! Unfortunately a few days later the app has stopped working for me. I can’t log in! I have tried redownloading the app and still nothing. If I could get it to work I would purchase an annual membership in a heartbeat.
Constant freeze after update
I like the workouts and the variety but the new app constantly freezes during the class, which makes workout out nearly impossible. I have other workout apps that don’t freeze so can’t the the network issues. This freezing also only starts after the recent update . Please fix it
Game-changer
NEOU is the at-home personal trainer I want but can’t afford. All of the instructors are amazing and really have a way of making me feel like we’re truly in the same room doing it together. The new interactive option is so cool because now I can actually talk to the instructors that I’ve been taking on demand for months. So many options, so good and so affordable! 💪🏼
Concept is great - technology not so much
I am coming up on 2 years with Neou and I love the offering but not their technology. Always seem to have issues when they roll out new technology. Now since November I cannot get it to work on my iPhone including browsers. I have to login via browser on my Surface Pro. 😕
The screen sharing button doesn’t work
The screen sharing button doesn’t work
Awful update!!!
This is great app, i use it every day and the classes are brilliant! But the update is so awful! I can’t even see what I’m doing on the app on my Apple TV, I can’t tell what I’m going to press and it’s so hard to move around the screen, I don’t know they even bothered, it was fine before.
Best app and amazing price!
I never get bored with NEOU! I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and I love cardio now!! This app is the absolute best deal out there!!
App issues
I just downloaded the app on my iPad and iPhone and neither of them will open. I touch the app and it starts to open and then goes right back to my home screen.
Pity but....
Constantly freezes during workouts. Will not restart video although the sound continues. Real shame. Looked like a great app
The workouts are great. The app is not.
They’ve updated their app and it’s awful. I can’t log in anywhere (unless I want to repay!) The support is slow and very informal - which can just be frustrating. Hopefully they can fix the issues!
❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
AMANDA YOU ARE AMAZING
Can’t sign in with password manager
If you attempt to use a password manager, the sign in screen will not accept your input. You need to allow people to paste their password into the app. I have a generated password which I did not memorize and is difficult to type.
Video freezes every few minutes
I've been using this app for the past few days without much success. I have reliable, fast internet at home, yet every video I've tried to watch freezes every few minutes. The image freezes but the sound keeps going. I have to press the back button to exit and restart which is extremely frustrating. I hope the developers fix this so I can come back and review the content properly!
Has potential
App seems pretty good however more live classes would be nice. I work evenings & times for live classes don’t work for me. A late morning class would be nice
