Excelent Politics App
Is an excelent app to see the most recent news about politics in the world.
Holy bias
I was looking for a helpful app for politics and stumbled across this. First thing I do when I open the app is look under “polls” I click to see how my states midterm election is doing and the app freezes, I try again and it freezes. I move on and click under the “trending/hot” tab, and I am bombarded with straight propaganda. I am not a Democrat, nor a republican, so seeing headlines aired like “Trump became a legend this weekend” and “Dsa is ruining America from the core” just made me laugh. Do not get this app if you want real and honest news.
Good compilation
I enjoy the compilation. I would give more stars but I hit a lot of paywalls when I click on articles on RCP’s app. RCP seems a little leaning conservative, and I would like a compilation where I can read more of both sides of issues. Still, RCP is a helpful resource.
Video pop ups
The video pop ups are annoying me. I’m reading an article and suddenly the screen goes black and a video pops up. Don’t want to watch the video. Just want to continue reading so I close the video. Then it pops up again a few moments later. I close it again. Pops up again. Close it again…and again…and again. Ad infinitum. I’d much rather use the RCP website, but now have constantly sign in since Apple started the private browsing. So I’m stuck with the app. Is there a way to stop the videos from popping up? If I want to watch a video I’ll click on it.

I like it because it doesn’t just offer one view they’re not just sold out to Trump. You know Trump is not the normal. I’ll be all I support. Makes mistakes I enjoy watching Fox News and looking at different websites but I need to know different point of view and that’s what makes this website so great

Works pretty well. Wish I could figure out how to access other real clear sites like on the web
Mixed Feelings
While I really like RCP and have used their website for years, it’s frustrating that you need a subscription ti the app to access the same polling data you can access for free via the standard online website.
Stop including paywall links
My only complaint. Understand your paywall premium content. That’s your prerogative. But including stories in your updates that are behind the other sites paywall always disappoints
Best News App
Balanced views, superb polling, updated daily with news and opinion across the spectrum. Books and Culture column is excellent as well.
Not real and not clear.
Actually thought this was an unbiased news app. Heads up for anyone looking for the same thing, this app is NOT unbiased.
Subscription
I enjoy reading articles from both sides. The one problem I have with your site is that when I open the app it doesn’t acknowledge my subscription and I have to do some maneuvering to get access to the polls.
Good info but biased
There is a lot of info here that is very useful. A lot of good columns are listed. Unfortunately the editors sometimes succumb to their own bias by running right wing propaganda instead of rational conservative thought. They should wake up and not support anti-democratic drivel that is a feature of some on the right.

Website is great. App is unusable.
I can’t read one story without ads and videos popping up and not letting me continue. Their “This day in history” video is ridiculous. It takes over your phone. I’ll just stick with the website and delete the app.
Videos not playing
Hi Team, Great work on the app. Big upgrade on the one from a few years ago. Just couldnt get videos to play in the app. Click and nothing happens. Everything else on the app working well. Waiting for new and exciting content updates and upgrades. Thanks, Ramy

Polling section on the current version has a lot of unused space and doesn’t tell us if we are looking at an A, RV, or LV sample.

Not even 10 seconds into my first story and an ad takes over my screen. If you want people to not use your app this is a good way to do it.
Bought Annual Subscription Stopped Working
I purchased an annual subscription in November 2022. Worked fine until February 21, 2023. Content no longer being refreshed. Instead getting a message that the free trial period expired. Three requests for help or refund ($34.99) all unanswered. Think hard before purchasing a subscription.
The Best Source for Balanced News
There is no better source for balanced news. Whatever your politics may be, go to RCP to read about the issues from both sides.
Garbage Browser Message from RCP
I downloaded your app on my iPad (an Apple product) via Apple’s App store. Very soon after I opened the app for the first time, I removed a message that browser is not supported. The browser I use is Safari, Apple’s browser. This browser message is garbage. If Safari is not going to be supported, then RCP should not be in Apple’s app store. 👎👎 This is very curious because a pop-up from X.com says Safari is supported.if X.com is not you, then that raises the issue of whether this app is infected.

RCP is a terrific app. I look at it multiple times a day for news and opinion

Pop-ups are crazy!
Used this app for about 2 minutes before getting sick of the pop-ups. Every time you change to a different page, you get a pop-up trying to get you to purchase something. Very, very annoying and would otherwise be a good app.
Excellent source for news
RCP is a nonpartisan aggregator of (mostly) political news, analysis, and commentary. You will find all sides represented on the platform, with many of the nation’s most talented reporters and opinion makers writing in its pages.
Holy Subscription Pop-ups
First day of using the app. Pretty stoked about the “14 day free trial”, which isn’t a 14 day free trial. It is just a “free version” of the app with annoying pop-up “ads” for a full subscription on nearly every screen change. If you’re going to do a free trial, maybe give the user an experience that would be had with a paid subscription, which is the point of a free trial. Content is great by the way, but I’m not trying the app for the content. I’m trying it for convenience, and it is severely lacking in that.
