SANFL Now reviews
2.3 out of 5, based on 131 reviews.
What people like
- Watch games from far away
- Good coverage of all matches
- Access to old grand finals
What they complain about
- Stream buffers constantly and cuts out
- Replays take days to appear
- Hard to find specific games
Brilliant
An excellent app and service for keeping up to date with all things sanfl.
Terrible
Works 2 % of the time
Great except replay delays
Great when it’s live but you are supposed to be able to watch a replay within a few hours. It’s almost 6pm on Sunday and still waiting for a Saturday replay!
It is not ok
Ohh
OK
Very frustrating that they take days to upload the games - just not good enough for a paid app.
Review
Really helpful and love the commentators
What is the point?
Get the free trial and see how bad the app actually is…
Not Bad
Handy app, would recommend.
What the…?
The app is really bad. Now, you actually have to input “WAFC V SAFC” (your team versus your opponent) in the app’s search bar to even get the SANFLW Development League games and add it to “My List” to be able to see it. I had no idea what time the opening South Women’s Development League game was on. Poor form. Needs fixing.
SANFL now
Reasonable quality and was able to Chrome cast without a problem. Suggested improvement would be for the live coverage to include replays of important plays (e.g. goals, speccies, etc).
Great to have local footy streamed
Great to be able to watch all games. Solid job on the production too. Will the mini game / highlights be done again?
Rubbish
Wish I could do less than a star
Coverage
Good coverage of matches but drops out too much
Not Happy with this service
Not happy, with your service, I keep getting 404 code. Can hardly watch the game. Your service keeps cutting off. Unless it improves drastically I will cancel my subscription 🙏
Dave
Great app to enjoy watching the footy
Not worth the money
Very poor standard of camera work for many of the talent games. I paid for a subscription to watch under 18’s football only to have the game cut off 5 minutes into the last quarter. No happy!!! Not worth the money
Pam and Lloyd Angove
Extremely happy to be able to watch our grandchildren son’s game while being so far away
No good
Terrible always swapping beyeeen games
Watching SANFL
Look forward to watching my beloved Roosters (followed them for 63 years!!) each week from Sydney
Awful
Fix the app. It buffers every 5 seconds!
Good app
Does what i want, lots of footy available and good to be able to see previous years. Like the older grand finals being added as well, it's fun to see games from before my time that people still talk about.
The worst streaming app ever
When is the SANFL going to fix this app. It takes about ten goes trying to watch a live match before it comes on and then after 5 seconds it pauses. Then you have to try another ten times and it does it again. After trying 10 to 15 minutes it finally starts working, meanwhile you have missed the start of the match. I’m glad I only paid for a month and not for a whole year, as I will be cancelling it.
Poor
The app on the phone cuts out and is never reliable
Not worth the money
Streaming is super unreliable. Every stream I want to watch is always glitching and when I try to connect chromecast to TV it doesn’t work. Need to fix a lot of errors before charging $10 a month.
