What people like
- Includes all clubs not just big ones
- Easy to stream games directly in app
- Great way to stay updated on teams
- Has articles podcasts and interview content
What they complain about
- Livestream keeps crashing and freezing
- Tipping feature is clunky to use
- Hard to navigate compared to men's app
- Requires expensive new device for updates
How good is angle
It’s is so good you can see the games it is Easley a five star app
App
App keeps freezing
Complicated app
Very complicated to navigate
🙏
Should be same to Navigate as AFL app just does not flow as well
Notifications glitch
Love this app but since you’re update I cannot get rid of the 2 notifications. No things to update in app to clear
Love it
A great way to get all the information on your team & others keep it going
AFL content
I find it disgraceful that this app has no AFL content considering that there is so much AFLW content smeared all over the AFL app. Sort it out cause it’s just poor form and low end marketing
Great app
The only adjustment I would like to see is the graphical representation of the scores over a match. I prefer the ‘worm’ used on the AFLM app rather than the ‘twin worms’ on this AFLW app. Love having a centralised place to follow the action
Name Them
Great coverage of AFLW, marred by too many photos appearing without photo caption identifying players. An AFLW email address needed so praise or concerns can be easily conveyed. Wrote the above a long time ago and the AFLW has failed to address one ☝️complaint. Lastest complaint is failure to update players on team lists - Western Bulldogs for instance still lists players who have long left and none of the new members appear.
Needs improvement
Does the job but should have options that other comps have like to filter matches by team or ground. That’s a pretty basic requirement especially when a club plays multiple games in a round.
Hello
It is amazing
Brisbane Lions
Just love watch this team play very talented. Put how many free for teams
Good
I love aflw and plus the app is really good and I use every minute of every day
Tipping
The tipping is very clunky to use and not as easy as the AFL live App mens tipping competition. Really it should be the same. Our family do tipping for the men’s competition and this year for the first time we have all entered the AFLW but in finding it harder to use and very clunky to access.
Time to pull the boots up!
The design is OK but it’s little more than a cut and paste from the AFL App. But the content is everything and a lot is missing. Closing the gap in content parity and would be more than a gesture - it will be a very cost effective way to build the supporter base and provide the growth that benefits everyone and promotes AFLW and even the App. This seems like a obvious no-brainer. Waiting isn’t leading and the game deserves better.
The best
The girls app has made it way easier to stay updated only on them rather then trying to make my way through the original app just to only find the fixture. I recommended this app for anyone
No Good for IPhone 7
I have the latest up date for IPhone 7 but because you have updated your software I can not update app not happy
Useless now
Loved this app last season when I could watch the matches on it, now it errors out. Drop the Telstra sponsorship crap and let us all watch the matches again! Deleted.
Nearly awesome!
App is getting there, I especially love that you can stream games. But you can’t listen to a game of the app in the background, or watch it while looking at stats or other parts of the app. When you look at live player stats, the players are only assigned one of their team’s colours in their little thumbnail that says their number. Essendon vs Hawks was brown and black…. Couldn’t see the difference
Great to watch
The girls are very skilful and play hard . Great to watch. TOP FOOTY
Only for the rich
As of today it now requires iOS 16 so I need to buy a new iPad to access the AFLW. My “old” iPad is fine for everything else.
Needs to be team specific
I want to set my favorite team then have only them appear on the home screen instead of all the matches.
Love it so much
One thing a massive huge thank you to TEAH CHARLTON for giving me a signed footy
Charlie
It’s telling me to update
Foundation Bomber
So impressive the amount of improvement from season to season. Go Bombers ⬛️🟥⬛️ !
Show some respect
Why is the AFLW app so much worse than the AFLM app. Show the girls some well earned respect.
What I love about the AFLW app
One of the great things about this app is that all clubs are included not just the main Victorian bass clubs. There appears to be a concerted effort to build the game throughout Australia with insightful comments and interesting articles, podcasts interviews videos and the like. I’m a foundation member of the GWS Giants men’s and women’s teams and it is much enjoyment out of the AFLW competition and this app as I do with the men’s competition program and the AFL app as well. Cheers and thanks for all the great work you are doing in the field. Alan Ford
Live stream issue National Academy Girls & Under-23 All Stars
Disappointed with the livestream ! Happens every time can you please fix the issue.
Love the AFLW … pure football 😃
Just need to extend the season so they play a full round … it’s called fairness … would give the competition validity.
Get the Sportsbet rubbish off
AFL, you can do better
