Impressed With the Lovi AI Skin Scanner!
I’ve really enjoyed using the Lovi AI Skin Care Scanner. I love how it analyzes your skin and gives you a better understanding of the areas that may need a little more attention. It’s easy to use, informative, and I especially like that the recommendations feel personalized instead of having to guess which products or skincare routine might work for me. It’s also interesting being able to track my skin and become more intentional about my skincare routine. So far, I’m impressed and excited to continue using it and see my progress over time!

App keeps freezing after a few minutes of use but I do love this app. Please fix the freezing glitch!
Needs improvement
App is very glitchy. Freezes out of nowhere and need a huge update. For starters the recommendations % ratings also take into consideration the price (which wasn't disclosed) I tried all the price setting and each time the items score would change. You're not able to make customization with the items you like or currently have into a routine. You can ask lovi but it's not very helpful. Hence app needing improvement on recommendation and customization. No real life support just scan items and figure it out. Haven't seen any change in my skin. Would feel more at ease if there was a dermatologist consulting on these products
Nothing for my money
I have paid 60 dollars to this app thinking there would be some type of products that would come with my purchase and I regret allowing the charges.

Love the info and the personalized reviews and scans but you have to restart the app every 1-2 minutes because it freezes.
Free trial
There was meant to be a 3 day free trial and my intention was to decide but immediately my money was deducted for a subscription I had not made a decision on yet. Don’t offer a free trial if it immediately forces a subscription.

This app has shown me I was layering products wrong and since then my skin has improved. I have very dry skin and fine lines. I was able to purchase all my recommended products on Amazon so I’m excited to see the progress!
Unable to cancel subscription recurring charges
I got the app canceled within the first week which was May 12. Noticed in June I got a charge for renewal called the credit card company to dispute because was unable to contact anyone at the app. The phone number on the app goes to a travel agency credit card company was able to dispute the charges. Now again in July, I’m getting reoccurring charges. Whatever you do do not get this app unless you wanna be charged every month despite canceling.
Not sure if I’ll keep
I like that it scan the face and identifies the areas that need the most attention. But I thought, the subscription would provide samples / full size of skin products recommended. Basically, I’m paying for having my face scanned and recommendations. I can get those services without having to pay for a subscription.

Look easy to use saw how it promoted through multiple people on tiktok. Added their own hidden subscription. Definitely a fraud and scam do not trust.
Using from 5 weeks
Firstly , I keep on moving around the country. Different places have different weather conditions and therefore different requirements for the products. The feature of updating the location and recommendations for products accordingly is missing in the app and my skin is highly suffering because of this. Secondly, while chatting to the bot, it doesn’t understand if I have changed using a particular product. It always answers as per what it recommended initially. And yes my skin is suffering because of this. Kindly make the necessary adjustments to your app.
Good results
I was skeptical at first. I had no real skin regime experience ever. I have had a lot acne growing up and just thought I was stuck with the skin I have. Lóvi changed all that. My pores are getting smaller. My red checks are getting smaller my skin feels smoother. Well worth the investment
Misleading Ads!!
I came across one of their ads on one of my socials. The advertisement clearly shows Korean beauty products being used, and it was like a subscription type of service. Come to find out when I signed up is just an AI app that helps you pick products from Amazon. No wonder I only paid $28 for a year subscription.. Be careful on ads that are capitalizing on Korean beauty or whatever the latest TikTok trend is.
Good product suggestions but …
While it does build a great routine from products in stores for my skin, I wish it would build a routine based on products I already own then suggest alternatives. It does tell me the fit of products I own for my skin but it doesn’t build it into a routine (the issue is that some products do not go with others in the routine eg AHA (to buy) with Vitamin C (I have)).
Useless
The face scanner itself is ok but there doesn’t seem a way to incorporate the products you already have into your skincare plan. Just a ploy to sell who ever pays them it seems.
My Shelf
It would be really nice if the routines would update with the items that get scanned into the My Shelf portion after buying the recommended products or with stuff you already have. It could be nice to develop a community where people could donate the items that are not a match for them so others could buy at a discount. How about linking up with a Mary Kay consultant (I am one) too!?

Great App Don’t Love the Cost
The app is great but there are a few items that I think they can improve on and it’s expensive for what you get. I wish you could get specifics on why a product is supposed to be good for your skin but also to put in additional detail in what your skin needs more. I followed the recommendation on a moisturizer and it was 96% recommended for my skin concerns. I had been using one that was ranked in the low 80% range. I got the new one in started using it and I don’t like it. Some of my major concerns are hydration but also how something wears with makeup. The new moisturizer pills with makeup and the moisture doesn’t last as long as the moisturizer ranked lower for me. Since I can’t add those details to tailor the products more, I feel like the app doesn’t justify the cost. If anything get the cheapest version, get the info you need and make sure to cancel before you’re charged a higher price.

Just started using app a few days ago but I am totally impressed. It has given me recommendations based on issues I’ve been having with my skin. On day two of the product recommendations but so far is helping. Less redness from rosacea. So glad I stumbled across the app ad on TikTok!! A must try for anyone overwhelmed by the millions of skincare products on the market.
Totally scam
This definitely does not work one day it will tell you the product is 94% compatible with your skin and the next day without you doing anything it will say 60%, by then you are already stuck with products that will make your skin irritated.
Great for learning skincare and building a routine
I’ve been using Lovi’s skincare app for a while now, and overall I really like it. I understand why some people feel disappointed or even “scammed” at first — the app offers custom skincare recommendations, but the subscription fee doesn’t include the actual products. It just tells you what to buy. That said, I personally use it a bit differently. I’ve been applying what I learn to the products I already have at home, and it’s been a really positive experience. The app has short lessons on things like lymphatic drainage massage, tricks for puffy eyes, and how to layer products properly. I’ve never really understood skincare before — what goes on first, what each thing does — so the structured guidance has been a big help. Even just following a daily routine and paying attention to technique has improved my skin, without me having to buy everything they recommend right away. I’ve only started purchasing their suggested products gradually as I finish what I already own. I can see how it might feel expensive if someone tried to buy everything up front, but used gradually, it’s manageable. The built-in AI assistant is surprisingly knowledgeable, too. It doesn’t just give canned responses — it actually takes into account the products I’m using and offers tips or cautions based on ingredients and skin reactions. In short, I think Lovi is great for learning skincare fundamentals, building good habits, and getting personalized advice. It might not be for everyone, especially if you expect the subscription to cover the products themselves, but for me it’s been genuinely educational and motivating. The only thing I do wish was different is that I would like to be able to go back more than 3 days in the prior days because there were some really interesting lessons at the start that I would love access to again.
Not smart enough
The app is not smart enough to update my recommendations and routine on my homepage once I’ve asked the assistant to integrate the products I am already using. It can’t even at least add the new/updated products to my shelf or wishlist. So this has no real utility of the product routine can’t work with you.
APP Freezes!
Is it just me or does anyone have issues with this APP constantly freezing? It’s so annoying. I’ve tried to delete and install again and even restarted my phone a few times. Yes I have the most up to date iOS and my phone is an iPhone 15MaxPro. I’m paying for subscription and app only works 50% of the time, so annoying.

And didn’t use this app ,it charged me I asked “cancellation + refund” but they want me use this app for month because of no refund. Unhappy result unhappy solve.
Great
Nice app for anyone trying to establish a skincare routine as it has detailed videos to explain each step of your routine and a feature that assesses product suitability aligned with your skin problems. Also recommends products in your specific budget range based on your target improvements. Some issues present which mean I won’t be renewing my subscription: all routines are inexplicably doubled up, this can’t be changed; app region/timezone can’t be changed so you get off-season recommendations; some larger brands aren’t recognised by the app scan feature and it will return completely wrong results; it isn’t clear how adding products to shelf works so it’s difficult to assess the routines suitability as a whole.

It’s cool that it scans your skincare but you can’t use the skincare you have to tailor your routine. I think it’s just kind of gimmicky. Definitely not worth the price.
Good app but needs some improvement
In general the app is good, but has two problems that I don’t like, rage first it freezes and second needs a bigger search for skin care productos, every time it freezes it drives me nuts.

I’m 18 and I’ve always struggled with bad skin due to hormone imbalance and this app helps me discover products that are beneficial for my skin and even my dermatologist recommended these products for my skin. Trust me, this app is worth it for your skin

Great app but glitchy
I love this app so much. I love the daily check list and how informative it is. I have yet to scan a product and it not be found, very impressive; even with my Canadian owned brands 👏🏻. I have learned so much about what skincare I should and shouldn’t be using and I actually feel like I’m achieving my skin goals. My only issue is the app is a bit glitchy. Today it didn’t change to the next day in my routine and it sometimes glitches when checking off my daily tasks. It would be great if you could manually check or uncheck a task even if you have completed the day. It would also be beneficial if you could manually skin to the next day in the routine in case it doesn’t recognize that a day has passed on its own.
Not worth the price
You can go to a dermatologist for cheaper to nothing. It’s not user friendly, very high maintenance app and a lot of reading and researching. You can just do it on your own for free. 😂

AVOID THIS APP AT ALL COSTS
This app is absolutely horrible. I tried multiple times to cancel my subscription following their exact instructions, and it never worked. The charges kept appearing on my credit card month after month with no way to stop them. Customer support was completely useless and provided no real solution. The only way I was finally able to stop the charges was by cancelling my credit card entirely and getting a new one issued. That is completely unacceptable. Avoid this app at all costs. A service that makes it this difficult to cancel and continues charging customers despite repeated cancellation attempts is not trustworthy.
Easy App- Products Al Recommends
The app is very easy to use and i have only got as far as ‘my face program’. The very worst of my skin as said by hands on dermatologists is dryness. I put this in my details yet most of the products recommended actually say they might not work well for dry skin. I only did the basic app at $19.95 but i wont continue.
Disappointing
You pay a subscription fee but it still doesn’t give you full access to all the features. Once you pay the subscription- then you try to use the app and find out you have to pay again for them. Good idea in theory - but disappointing in practice.
Changed my routine
I just paid for the yearly subscription but it changed my routine of products. I hadn’t even bought all the products as it was almost $250-$300 in products. Now it had different products and just started using some of them today. I’m not going to buy products ever week until I have used the ones suggested.

Lovely idea, good recommendations in terms of skincare. However, the app itself is buggy. It freezes continually, the face scan is the wrong way round, and it is generally just hard to use because of these issues. Even reinstalling has not helped.
