Understand
Skin Bliss actually understands my skin and the treatment I need. It also gave me a reasonable skin routine for my sensitive skin. I definitely recommend downloading Smile bliss
Not fond of recommended products
It has potential, but I found several issues that made it just not for me: 1. 99% of features are behind a paywall 2. I set my ingredient preferences, yet still nearly ALL recommended routine products score poorly on Yuka. Those that score better are brands unknown to me (not willing to blind buy), brands I know don’t work for me, or brands you can’t buy in my country. 3. Routine building is based entirely on the skin profile, which wasn’t very accurate to begin with. My main skin concern is oil and pore management, but it insisted I focus on blemishes. Ma’am, those aren’t BLEMISHES they are FRECKLES. 4. Because the routine product suggestions are for entirely the wrong skin concerns, the products proposed are useless to me. Even with, see above, the fact that most products are poor suggestions in the first place. 5. I can’t build my own routine with products that I know work for me. It’ll tell me a cleanser or serum is wrong for me because it causes breakouts, even though I know it doesn’t. That is the nature of skincare - sometimes one person’s trash is another’s holy grail. It fully just denies me the ability to add my preferred products to my routine because it *might* do xyz. I have many more gripes. These are the worst of them.

Great app but it has so many lags that it either crushes or completely locks the app
Lacking major product lines
I like the layout and photo journal, with the ability to customize multiple routines and cross check products and ingredients. However, the app is missing major product lines, three out of the four lines I use. Adding each of these products individually is extremely time consuming (you have to submit photos and barcode information via a 3rd party site…) and now I feel like I’m the one doing all of the work despite having paid $30 to use the app. I emailed the app to ask them to add these products themselves but I’ve canceled my subscription.
Great but also bad
I love the app but at the same time it’s so freaking annoying. It’s always ask for pro scanner and you can only scan items to a limit and I really am on a budget right now so it’s hard. Otherwise great app
Very Insightful & Resource Rich
I am very impressed with the amount of knowledge I’ve gained about my current product usage in literally 30-minutes using this app. I am returning a couple of new products because I now know they won’t address my skin concerns. This app is my new skin care shopping buddy!!
Do not buy so not worth it
The app claims to be an a skincare routine builder but pushes their own products and doesn’t have many popular products in their products library to build a skincare routine. The app is also extremely unfriendly to the user and doesn’t save progress until the process of building your skincare routine is complete finished. It’s also buggy and randomly closes
Worth to try!
I like this app so much! I have adult acne, it helped me to build right routine for my skin! I bought year subscription. I’m waiting for some bug fixes: - products are disappearing from routine if chosen “in rotate schedule”. It’s impossible to return them, because they stays in routine but aren’t displayed - “check your progress” doesn’t show any adequate results
not a fan
i used to use this app when it was new and i liked it, downloaded again and i am not a fan, offers inaccurate information, for example i tried to search for a moisturiser and it wouldnt come up, so i pasted the ingredients in, where it told me to use this night cream in the day, and that it is not suitable for sensitive skin, which the moisturiser specifies it can be used for. also a lot of the features are locked behind a paywall, so not worth using the app in my opinion.
Good but could be improved
I really like the feature to analyse my skin and get recommendations for it. Also the analysis on ingredients, if products are not advised to be used together etc …. But I find the routine building difficult. The recommendations for some products don’t take into account where I live so recommended products aren’t necessarily easy to find and are always different brands. If the app tells me I need a certain kind of serum or cream and I try to look up a brand, it gives me all sorts of products from the brand rather than just the type I’m looking for. The app also doesn’t suggest to remove products in your routine that might not be needed, it’s quite fiddly to build a new routine using some of what I use as well as new products, I have to add and remove products to see what changes it makes so I don’t use different products that have the same effect. Overall the app is good and useful but it could be improved to make it easier for users that are beginners. I’d also like to have more info on the recommendations - if it says I need this or that serum, it would be good to know why

Misleading
App costs money just to log your skin care products. Everybody wants you to sign up for something now. I literally just want a list of all the products I use on order.
Is there no way to create a routine
So I absolutely love the analysis of all the products and matching to my skin area concerns. Most of it also seemed spot on with my products that work well and the ones that don’t work as well. But all that being said, is there no feature yet to build a routine?? It looks advertised in the App Store. I was so excited to get all my products scanned and was learning a lot but now feel like I’m at a dead end where I would have loved to have a routine recommended for my skin concerns.

Great app but you have to pay $30 to use most features
It really is an amazing app but you do have to subscribe and pay 30 dollars each year to use almost any of the features the app has to offer. Which to me just isn’t worth it, because there are many other apps you can get that are free. Again there’s nothing wrong with the app I just wish it was less expensive.

My favourite skin assistant app
This app is so easy to work with and it makes my life a lot easier. I love that I can favourite certain ingredients and “☠️ Ban” other ingredients that I know will clog my pores. Makes it easier to filter out what products will cause acne for me specifically. Only thing I will say bad about this ap: scan submissions. I have submitted MANY products with full correct ingredients lists nd everything and 90% of them have not been verified by skinbliss. Kinda frustrating
It keeps saying logging out and requesting to sign into Amazon incognito
It used to work but now it keeps trying to direct me into Amazon and when i click out or in, the link still doesn’t work lol. I also wish for the selfie logs you could see the comments you left from each one, and maybe a slider comparison feature on pictures.
Good concept but not there yet
I downloaded today and wanted to see the results of my facial scan and what products it would recommend so I paid for the premium subscription. However, I’ve found quite a few problems, some of my products are on there multiple times and have different rating scores for my skin, some of my products aren’t on there at all, for some of the products the ingredients list is incorrect and some don’t have any ratings. This app has some useful information but for the most part it feels like you are paying to review products.

Ele é o que eu procurava a muito tempo, estou muito feliz por terem criado algo assim, me ajuda bastante a entender o rótulo, mas precisam melhorar MUITO tradução e a explicação porque alguns produtos não são tão compatíveis com a minha pele, estou acreditando fielmente nas recomendações mas não vem explicando exatamente porque aquele produto não é bom pra mim, tem alguns que na especificação só tem pontos positivos, nenhum negativo, nem na composição mas mesmo assim não é bom para a minha pele…mas nada que atrapalhe muito!
Too much money$$$$$
I didn’t want to pay so I wasn’t able to get most of the things on this app. It was really difficult because I wanted to scan my face, but you’re not able to scan your face if you don’t pay for the app. Which really disappointed me because I really want to scan my face and see what product would work better on it. But I wasn’t able to do that and now I’m really sad about it. If you are willing to pay then this is an app for you. But if you don’t want to pay then, please don’t get this app. Because there are so many restrictions on what you can’t do. you only get to scam five products if you don’t pay. i’m surprised they’re not charging me to add this review.🙄🙄🙄 so only get this app if you are willing to pay an outrageous amount of money. please don’t even try. It’s not gonna work. And this is coming from a 13-year-old who really enjoys skincare and I am not able to do any of it. But if you want to pay the money, then it is a great app if you would like to pay the money, the outrageous amount of money for it.
Great app with not so great issues
Overall, I like this app. The product database and details are far superior to any other skincare app I’ve tried. That said, the app is imperfect. 1. There’s no feature to track your daily skincare routine and habits. This is a feature pretty much every other skincare app has. This is an essential feature IMO, and it’s pretty disappointing that it’s missing here. A habit tracker would allow you to see the effects of the app’s recommendations in real time. 2. If you don’t pay for the app, you will get incessant pop-ups and notifications prompting you to subscribe. If you’re a free user, the app is basically unusable because of this. 3. The database, while superior to other apps, has some issues with duplicated entries and incorrect ingredient lists. You also cannot add products without a barcode. It would be useful if you could pull item data from listings on Sephora or other trusted sites. 4. The in-app reviews consist only of ratings on pre-set categories. I would love to see actual comments from users to get more detailed information on products.

Not consistent
The product images keep getting deleted or simply say "no image" to begin with which makes it so much more difficult to easily spot the product I need. Almost everything requires a payment, even saving products to your shelf has a limit which should be the most basic option, but even that requires payment for unlimited access. Other than the fact that most features are locked and that most products have no images the app is great!

Love this app! It’s great for beginners like me, to learn about what is in those ingredient lists. You don’t need to pay for premium to use 90% of its features but I did because I wanted to make a longer wishlist and support them.

Great app, just a few bugs
The app is great, I’ve had it for a month now and it is extremely accurate in what products break me out and what products help me. The scanning feature has really improved and I have not had many problems with the app that bug me. The only thing that really annoys me is that every time my phone loses connection to the WiFi, it signs me out and I have to re do the quiz to figure out my skin type. Maybe it’s my phone or something? I have fast WiFi so I am a little confused. Thanks, Ava

all the products that were recommended for my skin type were not in english and had nothing on them online... and the ones that arent from some random sketchy company are 70-800 dollars???? i mean it recommended the typical products like cerave and the ordinary but ive tried those already and they are not for me.
Decent app
The app does its job in showing you your skin type by giving you tests, and that’s awesome. it even recommends you products and shows you some to avoid. However, While using the app, I will get continuous pop ups to become a subscriber. Every time I exit it out and try to tap on something else the, pop up will happen again which gets frustrating. I deleted the app because of it. The app is also pretty slow
Almost Cancelled
I purchased a full years subscription to this app and my first thoughts were to try and get my money back. I was looking for an app that would help me to establish a skincare regimen and this app didn’t have that capability . . . (Yet!). I immediately messaged asking for my money to be returned. Since it was a weekend day, I realized I would not likely hear back from anyone until Monday. Figuring I already paid for it, I might as well explore the app further! I spent the rest of the weekend INFATUATED! I learned that the developers will soon be adding new features, one of which will be the ability to add your skincare routine. Exactly what I wanted! And, after playing around in the app all weekend and discovering how many things I could do within it, once Monday rolled around and I was offered ways to cancel my subscription for a refund, I loved it! I HIGHLY recommend this app to anyone who is infatuated with learning about skincare ingredients and trying to find the most effective products to purchase for your skin type and concerns. Such a small price to pay for such a great resource! 😍
This is horrible, it got my skin analysis all wrong!!
Let’s start, I said I didn’t have black heads, I struggled with acne, and I had good skin elasticity. But when it gave me the results it said the exact opposite! I also said I was oily in the T zone, which was the only thing they got correct. Being oily means my moisturizer can’t have any overly moisturizing ingredients. Let alone retinol!! And I bet you didn’t guess what it recommended for me, RETINOL AND PRODUCTS FOR DRY SKIN!! Anyone who said this app was even the tiniest amount of decent, clearly had a better experience than I did. And yes, this is a very upset review!! 1/5 would not recommend!! (My emojis aren’t working) *mad face*

I literally said I’m that app that I’m 12 years old but then it recommend retinol for me… and there is NO signs of aging so idk why you would do that and they are literally saying my holy grail products aren’t good for me.. I would rather just have a really trusted person to look through the ingredients or you can search if the products are good or not, even without a dermatologist :)

Was looking for a nice FREE app that could help me search for good products and fix up my skin care routine. From the advertisements this seems like a great app that can do all that and more. Only to find out you have to pay a membership to use most (if not all services). Before I could even created my profile it was bombarding me to pay a membership fee, it was hard to get through the initial profile making because of how confusing it was to decline. The app won’t take your picture to analyze your skin because that’s a “premium” service. You can’t have more than 10 listed products in your skin routine, they won’t compare your products to other products, and they won’t tell you how you can use your products in a routine and in which order. And anytime you click on something you don’t know if you have access to, another membership advertisement pops up. It pops up ALL THE TIME! Do you want to continue to use this app for free? The only thing you can do is take a basic skin test quiz (which you can find anywhere on the Internet) and input 10 skincare products to see what their AI thinks is compatible with your skin type. And that sounds really cool until you realize that their skin test questions are really basic and not very in-depth, so what the AI thanks is compatible with your skin may not actually be reflective of how good (or bad) that product is for you. It’s all really frustrating. I’d rather that they made you pay for the app, instead of constantly bombard you when you’re trying to explore the app that you can barely use anyway.

Best Skincare app hands down
I’ve gone through the other skincare apps and this one is by far the best. While it’s still new and is waiting further implementation of new features (can’t wait for the build a skincare routine feature), it has everything you want in a skincare app. You don’t have to custom input your own data like the “skincare routine” app on here that you have to pay for without even seeing it’s interface🤮. There’s a database on here that has its own users frequently adding new products as well (I’ve already added two) and it’s extremely simple (scan the product barcode/take pics of the ingredients). My only gripe with the app currently is that the database has duplicates because other users add the same product but change the name of the product slightly or if the manufacturer changed its bar codes when updating the product. Other than that, it’s been great! Edit: had to drop to 3 stars. Reporting ingredient mistakes doesn’t do anything and submitting products takes forever. I still have products that are pending verification since last week. It really shouldn’t take more than 48-72 hours. This app has tons of potential but it needs so much work.

Forced sign up, pixelated interface
Forced sign up in 2024 is a big fat red flag, especially for an AI integrated app. It’s just a data grab. Avoid if you respect your privacy. On top of that, the open graphics are all pixelated. Can’t imagine the rest of the app is even slightly well made. A big giant no from me thanks.
