New to Tinker FCU
I’ve been very impressed with opening an account with Tinker. Norman Rep Kelsey Coop is amazing! Their mobile app is so easy to use, info refreshes immediately so no wait time, CD interest rates better than a private bank and is non-profit which benefits your $$$. Tinker offers great personalized assistance and so much more. Glad I made the switch.
UPDATE?
My bank app requires an update to run. How do I update this?
Transfer
When I transfer from checking to pay my Visa, the app only lets me transfer whole dollar amounts. For example, if I try to transfer from checking $40.15, the app isn’t recognizing the cents. So I have to transfer $40. I do not like that!
Deposits
It takes too long for transfers to clear.
Difficult navigation
The app is difficult to navigate. Ex: Transfers. Why not just “make payment “?

No longer usable w/ older iPhone
I have an iPhone 12 that I've stopped iOS updates on because they risk bricking my phone. Well since my phone isn't on the latest iOS, this app can't update but it won't let me use a compatible version for "security reasons". I highly doubt my financial information is unsecure with an outdated app, & if it truly is at risk then this app was never secure at all. Having to use my browser & log in every time I just want to check my balance is very inconvenient, but it's now my only option. Very disappointed because I frequently used this before & now can't.

Zelle is not integrated into the app.
More features
Would really like to see the app a little more user friendly. Also I have another account with a shared bank. No offense but they seem to make transfers almost instantly between accounts. Would like to see that within TFCU. As I am a new member, however I do plan on using TFCU as my primary bank from now on.

Pro’s and cons
I actually do enjoy this app, I don’t have to waist money on gas to go to the bank to pay my credit card, or keep track of receipts so I know how much I’m spending. I can do everything from this app it convenient and saves me both time and money, I still go to the bank if I want to open a new account or something the like, but supposedly you can do that here aswell. As for cons there really aren’t many worth mentioning. The biggest problem is it not working if you don’t update your phone.
Love it, makes life easier
Very convenient. I wish I could deposit larger amounts but I get that there are scammers out there. My only criticism is that…everything else is great.
App doesn’t work after update
So, I couldn’t use the app until I updated it, now it doesn’t work at all. Updates always make things worse.

Since my early days in the USAF I have come back to TFCU for accomplishing major purchases and lines of credit which have been delivered responsively fast and with friendly customer service. Cannot give a higher compliment to any other financial institution. Thanks for looking after me over the years!

I’ve been banking with Tinker Federal Credit Union since 2009. I’ve had car loans. I’ve had personal loans. I have a credit card balance. It’s the best financial institution I have ever had the pleasure to do business.

Stuck in A Loop
I get the message the app needs an update, but it redirects me to the Apple App Store. Can’t even use it.

Last update basically made the app inaccessible. Update 6/11/26. Just updated and still cannot log into the app.

This app is finicky at best. Whenever I updated it just sits there and loads and loads and loads and doesn’t load anything as far as my account goes. If I could leave a zero star review, I would!!!!!
