A wonderful classic
Full disclosure: I worked on the 2012 version of this game as a narrative designer for Big Fish. Playing it here in 2026, I’m impressed with how well it holds up as a wonderful classic in the HOPA genre.
Charged me twice
I purchased this game in 2022 and I went to restore the purchase and it charged me again. No warning at all. BEWARE! Completely frustrating!
I’m enjoying the game but…
I’m enjoying the game but I have a problem with the shovel disappearing from my tools. I can’t access tech-support because it says there’s a problem when I try to. Is there anything I can do without starting over completely?

Le jeu devient payant après quelques scènes. J’ai joué à tout les jeux du même genre proposé par un autre développeur, et franchement j’ai été assez déçu du fonctionnement de celui ci dans la façon d’interagir avec les objets, notamment dans le fait que si on ne place pas l’objet exactement au bon endroit le jeu ne le prend pas en compte, en niveau difficile on peut donc se retrouver coincé malgré une bonne approche. Ce qui est bien c’est qu’on peut entièrement régler le niveau de difficulté, même si au final on a le choix entre avoir des indices trop évident ou pas d’indices du tout et se retrouver dans la situation cité précédemment. Les graphismes et l’histoire reste pas mal malgré tout.
Fun game in General
Fun game I liked the graphics but please stop making the game so that we have to play your sound and music. Also stop making some of the puzzles so large that they mess with the screen changer drop down at the top of an iPhone drive me nuts to try and turn a puzzle piece and constantly have to toggle back from my screen settings because it’s to close to the top of the phone
Just one thing
The book constantly flapping is quite annoying. Can you turn that feature off?
Waste of Money
This was by far the worst game I’ve played. Do not be deceived by positive reviews. The storyline was terrible, the puzzles were nonsensical albeit easy. Many words in the hidden items mini games made no sense and looked more like translation gone wrong. The graphics were very outdated, not sure what they meant by ‘Remastered’, probably the price. All n all I was happy to be done with this game which thankfully is pretty short, another point that doesn’t justify the price.

Only complaint is the one search game you use the pencil to solve the equation. 7, mine won't do it. So I'm stuck.
Finding objects
All finding object mini games are exactly the same and happen every 2 minutes! They could have varied the object search with silhouettes or round pieces of pictures, but it was all exactly the same and boring.

Vabbè evidentemente nn ci tengono molto se giochiamo ai loro giochi, tra l’altro anche belli . Purtroppo nn tutti hanno avuto la possibilità di imparare le Lingue straniere

Worth the time and cost! The game designs are beautiful, the storyline is a good length, the puzzles are fun, challenging and keep me on my toes.
Love the game
I loved the game, but it only let me play so long. It would tell me that I have to buy the rest of the game. Would give more stars if I could play the rest of the game.
Nice Long Game
I love anything snow queenish, I found the games a bit difficult, but I suffer ADHD, and not the sharpest memory, I also found the hidden games to be quite dark compared to some, (poor vision). My only last complaint was I felt very let down at the end, it was a bit anti climax, I was like that’s it, 🤷🏻♀️that’s the end? Having said that, from the beginning to the end, I was taken on a whimsical, icy journey in a whole other realm, where I could escape my sad reality of life. Please do more icey, snowy games, with howling winds, I LOVE them! Maybe a “Shining” remake sort of thing?!!
Disappointed
I love games like this. Unfortunately, I don't bother with games that I can't zoom in on my phone. The graphics tend to be pretty dark, which is fine since it’s applicable to the theme, but it’s very difficult to see anything. Seems like a very simple fix.
Too tedious
This is poorly organized and repetitive. The hops were annoying because some of the objects were too small to recognize. Not worth the 5.99. I downloaded for trial, but the free play was so short it that it didn’t give a glance of The whole game.
I miss games like this
I miss playing games like this!! First time I’ve heard of Fox Friendly but not the first at playing hidden object/adventure games. This was awesome to play. The graphics were taking me back when I first started out playing games like this. The story line always got me and I’m like “he did whaaaaaat?” Hahaha I can’t wait to play the others.
Be up front about the cost!!
This might be a great game, I dont know, but so annoyed to spend time on it then find there is a cost involved.. The cost itself does not seem unreasonable, but honesty is better. If it costs, say so, before wasting people's time

Why £5.99
I have already bought and played the original version of this and am at a loss as to why you’re charging full price for a slightly updated version. These days a have to be a little more careful with the pennies so will find something else.
Good game
but a bit repetitive. Would suit younger players who need to hone their skill of observation. (Some kids are unable to find something even when you tell them where it is. This problem gets better with time and practice.) I liked the map that lets you know where you have unfinished business and its teleport function. I also liked the plentiful hints and the ability to skip puzzles that were hard to do.
Inadequate trial
I’ve played a lot of hidden object games, but this is the first one I’ve played from this company. I was astonished that the “Unlock” prompt appeared abruptly right in the middle of a puzzle game! It is usual in my experience for the trial to end at a suitable juncture in the game where a task or stage has been completed. I couldn’t help feeling that it was quite rude! It also did not give me enough time to form an opinion of the game as to whether I would be willing to spend money to purchase the full version. The gameplay, user experience and storyline seemed decent. Again though, I am more used to games that when, as often happens, you interact with an object that needs another item to solve, it at least gives you an indication of that, whereas here you click on it and absolutely nothing happens. For that reason, and especially the tiny trial window, I did not go on to purchase the game, so I cannot offer a full review

Using colours for puzzles
Very frustrating to play a game when colours are used to solve problems. The xx% of the population are colour blind like me . Makes solving puzzles very hard when you cannot tell the different colours. Would be great to see developers using colour blind friendly colours or a colour blind setting on the options

So Much Fun!
One of the THEE most enjoyable, fun, satisfying games I’ve ever played. The written commentary after certain cut-scenes was so informative and fun. And seeing the timer showing me how long I’ve been playing was fun too. Trying to find squirrels in every scene cracked me up. Like, why squirrels? But I loved it! Both the main game and the bonus game were really long too. The graphics, the sound, the storyline, the dialogue, it was all so much fun! I’m going to play it again f’sho! Bravo!
Same game,different title
This is the same game as Ice Rose, just renamed. Had already bought and played that one. Huge con, having the same game up twice but under different names. £5 out of pocket
Needs more instruction on some of mini games.
So frustrating. I bought this game for my phone because I love these types of games. Of course the only one I actually paid for does not work on the phone. When you get to the mini game above the fireplace you have to right click to rotate the pieces (it’s does not say this in the game at all so I had to google it) but of course the phone does not have a right click option. I was able to figure out how to skip it. I had to hold down on the rose until it said 100% which took a few minutes. It wasn’t until almost the end of the game did another mini game state to hold the pieces over a rotate button did I figure out what I had missed on the mantle game.
No money!
Do all of your games require a purchase to play??? It has been my experience that once you pay a fee to continue playing, they nickel and dime you to death! If you only allow free play long enough to get interested and then require payment to continue, you are not being very nice or fair. If that’s the way it is, you should say so right up front so I don’t waste my time and get disappointed. Not everyone has money to spend on games!
