Ohne Geld auszugeben geht nichts!
An sich ein fesselndes Spiel, aber leider kommt man ab einer bestimmten Stelle ohne zu kaufen nicht mehr weiter. Also wird es wieder gelöscht. Eigentlich eine ziemliche Frechheit!

can one dvpr squeeze into a game? Holy moly. Totally unnecessary and made me reeeeally uncomfortable throughout. Such a shame as could have been so good without it.

I have truly found a game that keeps me intrigued . All the Darkness and Flame games are great.
Don’t bother
Starts off as a good game. Of course then you have to buy hints. But a hint in this game can be a simple direction. Not a hint at all. I ran out of hints so I checked and it said I’d only done 62% of the game. Bought the hints only to discover that I only had one scene to go! They had included the bonus chapter. Ok I thought I’ll play that. But guess what? You have to pay to play that! It’s a rip off. There are plenty of good games out there that don’t rip you off. Sheer greed. Shame on Apple.
Intriguing but good puzzle!

Awesome and astounding.
Love the artwork, love the background music, love the storyline (what little I’ve seen of it so far, anyway), love the quality control (lack of bugs), love the special puzzles, and I’ve loved this sort of puzzle game for decades. The ONLY reason I didn’t rate it five stars is the solution being so dependent on “click all over the screen at random until you hit something that’s active” and “now go back to where you already finished and click all over the place again”. [Update: reduced rating to one star after giving up and looking online for a walkthrough. You have GOT to be KIDDING me. I couldn’t even complete half the story while reading the bloody walkthrough! Without it basically telling me everything to do, I never would have got past the uncle’s house, and even with it you’re stuck with an impossible puzzle in the underwater machine. What good is all that great artwork, great music, and great storyline if it’s essentially IMPOSSIBLE to ever see it without cheating? Sorry, but this is just too hard and too frustrating for someone whose IQ is only 160.]
Sound override ‘sigh’
I listen to a lot of books on tape and by a lot I mean three or four a week. When I’m playing games, I must be able to turn off the sounds within the game so it allows my book to play while I’m playing the game. Some games are good at this— not this one. Sometimes that’s normal you just have to go in Turn off the sounds in options which I tried and closed it reopened it. 😣

This game has an interesting story, good graphics, and a variety of mini games that are not too difficult. I like that I can play for hours without ads or needing to pay for “energy” to continue like some other games.

Great game, but, guess what happens when you go to play the bonus. You have to pay for it. Some bonus, nothing but a money grab.
Bimbo
Reasonable graphics quite a good game unfortunately the character is a bimbo she uses things like a knife or sword once and then throw them away ,like a good quest you should be able to keep what you find so you can use it again later on in the game

Disappointed at the purchases to complete game
I purchased this game and had fun. There’s some good elements, being able to complete some great puzzles. However at key points of the game I needed to buy hints to complete it. Then when I got a notification that I had ‘unlocked the bonus game’ each time I tried to use it I got a screen with two options - restore which lead to an internet connection error (but my internet has been fine this whole time) or an option to pay $2.99 to play. I have played a lot of games, ones more complicated than this and have never had to pay to play the bonus chapter. I’d rather pay for Big Fish games than these, should’ve stuck to them instead of wasting my money here.
Fun but done
I have played everything available. When will new ones come out? I enjoy what is there but it’s hard to stay engaged when you played everything already.

Great game, hits just the right note for adventure puzzle game, it’s just too small to play on a phone, there are some images and details you’ll just never see. Really well designed otherwise
Hate going backwards.
I really love the game but I hate having to go forward for items to finish a level. I like the feeling of completing a level before moving on instead of knowing there are things left undone. Makes me get fed up and stop playing. Soon I will stop altogether.

What about the bear
Not long into the game so I don’t know the story line but right now I don’t like that the characters have left the horse still harnessed up and the bear in the cage yet they have time to fine all the things they’ve misplaced. Ok on going back the bear is no longer there, but the horse… And the uncles voice actor is terrible. Oh and the girl has an annoying voice. But besides all that it’s a stunning game and the puzzles so far are ok. Looking forward to playing it and shouting at the uncle to not talk. I’ll add more when I finish the game. Ok back after finishing. Yeah it was ok. Nothing as good as lost lands but was ok if you’ve not played that. Definitely not for the dummies. No offence 💁

Amazing Game But……
This is truly a wonderful game and admittedly very addictive!!! Gameplay and puzzle ratio is exceptional and well balanced. I had a notebook to hand so I could remember where I needed to go back, maybe an notepad on the screen may be useful. Real bug bear is I wish to go back and find the collectibles I missed but it seems I have to play the game again?! Anyway round this?

Darkness and Flame is great fun,
This was the very first Five BN game I played. As such, it holds a very special place for me. It opened wonderful worlds in all their games. Each one is a different experience with excellent puzzles, interesting graphics and short clips to help tell stories. The only downside is I finish their new game and impatiently wait for the next new game to be released. So, I replay one of the many earlier games. Basically, we need to find tools, parts, etc., to open a new puzzle to move the game forward. The stories are engaging. I love these games and am so grateful to everyone who works on making them. Thank you!
Good graphics
I’m loving the puzzles but the storyline goes on a bit and makes the navigation too complicated. I’m sticking with it a bit longer to see if it improves but getting a bid fed up of going round in circles
Possible glitch
I enjoyed this game however I could tap the same spot multiple times and nothing then after I pressed hint it would work, I would look it up to see the next step and it would say do this, I would do it and nothing, press hint and boom could do it. Not sure if it’s a actual glitch or a money making one.

Need hints
This is a good game, but I needed so many hints. You get items that you need to take back to previous areas, but you can’t remember where. Would be nice if you got hints back over time, but you start with just 5 and that’s it. Could have been better if you could somehow make your own notes to remind you where you need to take stuff. Fantastic graphics, just a little too hard for me, still worth playing hence 4 stars.
Bonus game
Got nearly to the end where the centipede is, wouldn’t let me put the moonstone in there, don’t know what I’m doing wrong but very frustrating, couldn’t finish it. Enjoyed the game but yeah that was a bummer.

This is my second play through of this series. The games are challenging but not too hard. The items collected and used are all logical so it is never frustrating.
