At home

The process of Ketamine, at home, with high quality product is a game changer. I also do not get confused or forgetful with their Ketamine. They’re supportive and helpful. If you’re thinking of trying [it], I recommend Mindbloom.

Should have Face ID

I have really enjoyed the program and had great results from the therapy. I just think that the app should have an option to enable Face ID to open the app for privacy reasons. I know that I can manually add it as a hidden app, but that isn’t the best solution for me. The app should just natively use Face ID.

App is so buggy

This app is so unbearably buggy. I have reported it directly to Mindbloom and yet their latest update breaks it even more. It doesn’t save the intentions for a session, and I’ve wasted time going through the flow 3 times now. You can record voice notes during a session but they are useless because you have to re-write or re-dictate anything you said in order for it to be stored in a journal entry. The audio has paused itself multiple times during my sessions and I’ve had to restart or continue without any audio. For something as time-sensitive as the medication-based therapy sessions that Mindbloom offers, there absolutely needs to be a better standard of quality for their software than I have ever seen it possess.

Huge improvements with constant errors

I am a big fan of the app and all its improvements over the last few years, however, I still see lots of errors when using different functionality like marking a task as complete.

Mindbloom 5 * but this app 1

The tracking info never updates. I never know when my medication is going to show up anymore. It’s also significantly slowed down the process of getting medications which is causing me to mis doses. Also music selection is a bit limited, could add a dozen more songs and significantly improve the experience.

Bring back the audio library

Obviously ketamine therapy is incredibly useful but so is the binaural audio library sometimes on non treatment days. It was recently removed, and that's terrible for those of us that leveraged it and expected it to be there after being a consistent customer for 2yrs. Huge letdown from a service I generally promote every chance I get with every traumatized/depressed/anxiety ridden person I meet. Please bring it back, ASAP. I know changes/edits were being made to tracks, but we should still be able to browse and re-listen. Obviously I can easily snake it in ways that might violate terms of use anyways, so it should just be able to be browsed freely, right? Right!

Latest Update Reduces Functionality significantly

Seems like those directing app updates don’t actually use it, which is frustrating (see why below). The therapy and session info / tracks are often helpful, so overall I recommend this program and app, especially as it is a cheaper and more convenient alternative to out of home ketamine. Frustrations: 1) you don’t get through all of the prep/after-session materials (for instance, the “integration” portion) until after your session (when one would expect to need to integrate and take action). But the session log where this info is contained is marked “completed” once you finish journaling, so I have to go back and mark the session as not complete which then asks me to schedule the session I’ve already done. What was wrong with being able to go back and open it without going through that confusion? 2) audio library, which was very useful for utilizing tracks to play outside of session when meditating or practicing mindfulness, is now gone. I can go into an old individual session to play the specific track from that session, but what a terrible alternative to what we were able to do 2 weeks ago. 3) many modules contain 1-2 “sessions” at the end, out of 6, that have no learning content. Just “do it yourself”. This feels like a cop out. You couldn’t find 30 extra minutes of information about major mental health topics, like burnout or depression? YouTube has NOTHING you could use? 4) If you want to be able to easily see your journal progress from week to week, use your own notes app instead of their journal feature. If you use theirs, your journals are locked behind individual session logs that takes a lot of effort to go through to find the one you’re seeking.

Questionable outcomes - no live technical support

Paid for the six session program. Medication, in my case, was not effective - had only a mild response. Attempts to offer a solution were met by Mindbloom with zero interest in helping - only in selling more sessions. Communication was only available through a chat bot. Perhaps this works for others, but it was a bunch of money for me down the drain for no result.

Patient

Mindbloom recommended sq injections, but was unable to deliver the ketamine during summer months, because it would exceed the safety temperature and spoil. Mindbloom, through its pharmacy, discontinued refills but continued to invoice me. They are charging monthly to an unapproved credit. Add number. It’s been a complete failure and their proposed remedy is to chat in circles with an AI bloombot.

Addendum to my original review…

What I’m really saying is that no app should be updated this often except for security reasons. Mindbloom is not the only offender at this. The constant updating of apps has a negative effect on the user and the quality of our lives.

Changing my life

Mindbloom has been a godsend. Their staff is amazing. They are available for me in no time regarding anything. I only wish I had discovered this therapy many years ago. The music (sounds) literally takes you through a journey like you couldn’t imagine. I tell everyone who has any issues regarding anxiety/depression, PTSD and other issues about Mindbloom. I have taken virtually every kind of antidepressant in the past and they not only didn’t help, they hurt. I’m convinced that this therapy is the key to success and healing. Thank you to everyone at Mindbloom especially my Clinician Dr. Roero for your support and excellence. 5 stars!

Bring on the Healing

Mindbloom didn’t fix me, it helped me realize my brokenness wasn’t permanent. After losing my husband unexpectedly, I was surviving… but barely. The sessions gave me something I didn’t expect: space. Space to feel it all without drowning in it. Space to breathe again in manageable increments. It wasn’t always pretty — sometimes it was raw, unfiltered, even a little “what the hell was that?” — but it worked. Not like a magic wand… more like a flashlight in a really dark place. I’m still me. Just lighter. Stronger. More connected. And somehow able to laugh again — which, honestly, feels like the biggest win.

Better off with a different provider

After one year I became extremely frustrated with lack of tracking information for medication shipment. The clinician was great but I felt as if she was pushed to be a sales person and I was upsold to subcutaneous injections which were difficult to tolerate. App is glitchy and confusing. I switched companies and glad that I did.

Regaining my life one Journey at a time

This will sound like over hype - Mindbloom is helping me recover my life! One Journey at a time. I have taken 12 Journeys. Each one is unique. I have discovered that the inner space is vast and beautiful. And much larger than the entire universe of Outer Space. I am rediscovering myself, In a more confident and compassionate way. I am experiencing Joy again, And starting to do some artwork again. There is plenty of work which accompanies transformation. Don’t worry, you have personal therapy, a guide to talk with, and as many group discussion circles as you can find the time to attend. You must integrate what you discover during a journey into your life. This is not magic! You keep a journal, and learn to take care of yourself, to make time to observe and think. This program includes Ketamine, a very safe medication that takes you on a one hour long Journey into your inner space, where you can observe your life in a profound way without being overwhelmed by your past and future. Totally amazing. Thank you Mindbloom!

Life changing

I have been using Mindbloom for 4 years now to help with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, addiction and grief from a breakup from a 10 year relationship. I have been on medication and use traditional therapy but needed something more. I have had the most profound self discoveries with the help of ketamine and the sound tracks and integration that come with each journey. I am so thankful to have found Mindbloom so that I can do ketamine therapy at home. I started with the oral ketamine and have recently switched to the injections and have found that both have been helpful with my symptoms and with creating better habits. I have not needed these treatments consistently but find myself coming back to Mindbloom during difficult periods of my life when I could use symptom relief and guidance. I’d recommend this to anyone who deals with the symptoms I have struggled with because Mindbloom is truly life changing.
