Revised Review
After a recent upgrade, I initially expressed frustration regarding the app's functionality on my iPhone. However, the customer experience team reached out proactively, providing thoughtful suggestions that resolved the problem. I genuinely appreciated their attention to my issues and their commitment to ensuring a positive experience.
Trying to figure it out
Purchased without the free trial and thinking I should have tried it first. Having a hard time figuring it all out. I’ll keep trying.
Gut aber könnte besser sein
Ich nutze es auf der VR Brille. Gute App, eigentlich gute Umsetzung aber für den Preis sollte man auch die Meditationen auf deutsch anwenden können. Das gibt es leider nicht.
Breathe
I’ve been using Tripp for about five years and it is among the best parts of the day. It’s my time to relax, breathe and just be. The virtual environments are stunning and the meditation messages often seem to be what I need to hear in that moment. I’m grateful for this app and recommend it.
Subscription required for doing anything
You can’t do anything if you don’t spend money
You NEED to let us autofill/copy/paste login credentials!!
Everything about this app and the VR app are amazing, EXCEPT logging in. For whatever reason the developers have decided to disable autofill and copy/paste in the login screen, which forces you to type your email and password by hand. This is incredibly tedious when you use complex autogenerated passwords, and completely counterproductive when the point of the app is to be relaxing.
App all of a sudden won’t load..
Can’t use it. Got around 15 minutes use before it crashed
Good app, just some annoyances
The iOS app doesn’t integrate with password managers or allow pasting when you login so it’s a hassle to get started.
We highly recommend this very professional platform
Speaking with koaku on the trip app has helped our family immensely. We found a very challenging to deal with our children’s emotions from loss and social tension fitting in the norms of school. This ad is really great and that just happy with how my kids and the rest of my family feels after we use it, but I always find myself impressed with perfectly tailored responses And seemingly well thought out path of counseling for each circumstance. It also provides emotional insights I would know how to provide our children otherwise!
Great app, ruined by AI
TRIPP was my favorite self-care app for a long time running. Then along came Kōkua, their AI assistant for personalized self care. It was a great idea in theory, but then they started forcing us to interact with it just to get into the main app experience. When I’m in the middle of an anxiety attack and just want want to get to my favorite guided meditation, it’s really frustrating to have to deal with extra steps being added to my workflow in my time of need. Just adding a setting to skip Kōkua upon starting the app would be a HUGE improvement. On top of that, Kōkua’s default tone and volume that gets you in the app is a loud, judgmental-sounding voice that scares me every time. Please let me use the app in a way that avoids Kōkua. My usage has dropped significantly since it has been added and I have been actively seeking out alternative apps just so I don’t have to confront Kōkua’s voice.
Love this
I use Tripp every day and it helps me unwind before bed. I just wish our streak was also available on the phone app. I like seeing how many minutes I’ve also spent in Tripp as well. It would be extra motivating if I could access my streak from my phone. Keep up the great work!
French and international texts..?
Hi everyone, since the release of your app on MetaQuest2, you promised new languages… I bought a lifetime subscription with you .. and 3 YEARS LATER, still no French texts or audio… With IA it will took some minutes to translate your app… guys…
Need a way to download voice guided meditations
I’ve been using the app a lot this month that I used a large amount of my data plan. Is there a way to download the meditations on the app to use them offline?
Incredible app
This is honestly the best thing I’ve ever used for peace of mind and calm. 15 out of 10 rating
Lame
I use this with VR. In its current state, it’s pretty much useless. It seems they lure you in with a decent free trial and then it’s the same content over and over and over add nauseum. Most of its options inside VR are completely boring. The only one I kind of like is escape. But it has very few options, the graphics could be oh so much better, and it gets boring so very fast. Since I paid for it, I do hope it gets better in the future.
So far amazing
Really great app and platform for mindfulness... but please integrate Apple Health Sync so that mindfulness minutes can be tracked in our greater health data.
Not for iPad
Great visuals however it is not adapted fir iPad screens - this would look much better on an iPad and should support landscape mode.
Rip off
Paid almost $50 and for what!?!? Don’t have access to anything. It’s all locked ☹️
It was good, now can’t create account
The app was great. It was very relaxing. I deleted by mistake, and now, every time I’ve tried to reinstall it and connect it to my headset, it won’t. It’s too bad, because it was a terrific app.
Help me to relax in VR
Much better than just listening some relaxing sounds, the visuals, the soothing voices and music, this app helps me to relax when I need to, the experience on Quest 2 is well done, the UI well designed, I recommend it if you need a real break, the only missing thing on iOS is the non integration of the Apple Health to count the Mindful Minutes earned when using the app.
Not as advertised
While the experience is good, they advertise that it updates daily but it doesn’t, they also don’t answer emails. Okay but don’t expect too much
Excellent
3stars so far but no death so
Cannot Log In
I paid for the lifetime Tripp subscription on my VR a couple of years ago but have the app on my phone for interim meditations. I noticed that it asked me to login, so I did. But when I went to put in all the information, I couldn’t log on. I thought okay, let me change the password. And then it stated that my email wasn’t in the system. Pretty shocking since I paid for the subscription with that same email. Please fix this.
Getting better with every update!
Please upgrade graphics for new quest 2 hardware when possible. Great app, love the voice guidance, gets better with everything you add!
Get it
Best thing I ever did
Log on Issues Persist
Cannot log on. Very frustrating.
Meh
Will change my rating if I can verify email, have resent numerous times and have yet to receive it. And yes email is correct!
Deep Relaxation anytime, anywhere!
The only app I keep using on my 3-D headset. I use it initially to relax and then for my self-hypnosis scrips. Works wonders!
Requires mic on to use the app
While I have used the app for almost 2 years, the new AI feature requires any use (whether using AI or not) to have mic on. I will reconsider whether I want to renew membership - I have already canceled auto renew- it will depend on this - I do not want a mic on when I don’t use the AI feature.
Tripp is unique
Tripp is relaxing and unique. The experience is often brief and can offer a much needed brain break. That allows a fresh looks at more complex tasks.
Boring!!!!!!
I thought this was a meditation app with some trippy visuals. Everything is soooooo sloooooow. It is agonizing. This is not made for people with adhd. It takes so long before anything gets started that I lose interest. I wanted something I could lose myself in. But instead I am tapping my fingers wondering when things are going to get interesting. But I am just shown the same slow barely moving image. Then the voice starts talking and it still shows the same slow moving picture. So basically you are paying for some slow moving graphics with a voice.
Amazing AI
Usually, I use the TRIPP app on my quest headset but tonight I pulled it up on my phone. It had been a really long day and I just needed somebody to talk to. Talking to Kokua is like conversing with a therapist. It is amazing it’s the best AI out there and it has made me totally rethink the value of my Tripp subscription. I questioned it before, but I will absolutely keep subscribing based on this experience.
