Game changer and fun
I have meditated on and off for 20 years. I struggle with visual meditations. This vr and app are so addictive and rewarding. I enjoy both parts together but I listen to the phone app in my car. It’s full of ideas about how you might make your life better that you can take or leave. Insightful!
Stressed
Unfortunately the app won’t pair to my VR. I really wanted to try it out. The fact that I keep getting the error message every time I hit the start link I keep getting an error message.
Lost progress after iOS update
It would be really good if you could update the app to not lose progress when updating iOS. The app is absolutely one of my favorites but it’s not useful if I can’t access the app in IOS or VR. Please fix this issue so the app continues to work.
Love but it’s so buggy
I’m loving this game on VR but every time I get a new item for my island, it can’t be sat down and then disappears. I tried to download the app and log in with FB to see if my items can be found in the app but the FB login option is broken and throws and error message saying the app isn’t accessible. Pretty frustrating for an app that is supposed to make you chill out. About to give up.
I’m Having Trouble
Both the app and in vr it won’t allow me to sign in, or create a new account. I used to “play” or “listen” whatever you want to call it, on this app. I loved it. The app seems to think my email is “incorrect” and I triple checked to make sure I put it in correctly. On the vr when I tried to create a new account (multiple times), it would always lead me to “bind with spirit guide” part but then when I tried to bind with it, it would just replay it. It wouldn’t continue on. I would really love to be able to play again.
PLASE READ
I’ve attempted to meditate for many years and consistently. I have made progress but when I downloaded this fun little app with the little alien or energy being I thought it will be fun for a few then gone like the rest of the apps. Well I am a reiki master and empath so the basic grounding work is essential to me but I never had any type of guided instruction. I had my own way. WELL THAT CHANGED. I fell in love with this app from the first guided grounding meditation. If your new or experienced you’ll know most apps with their guiding have maybe one or two of the good qualities of a guided meditation, but I’ve never had an app. They had them all at least all the ones that suit me. Her voice was perfect. The information was perfect. The way it was explained was perfect. every guided meditation has their own specific way of conveying what they want you to do and with this one it suit me more than any other one I’ve ever used like I said whether you’re new to this or experienced at least download it and give it a try and I can almost guarantee you that you’ll keep it and use it. I was hooked from the very beginning and again I thought it was gonna be one a little playful things that it would be entertaining for a meditation or two, and then it would just sit or be deleted. And one of the reasons I really knew it was special is because almost 99% of the guided meditation that I’ve tried. I would always open my eyes and check the time times. I honestly never once looked down to see how long was left and for the first time when it ended, I wanted to do it again, so I did the people that actually created this application. I thank you I truly truly thank you. The way that you put it all together is really something special. and I know there’s diversity out there and it may not be the cup of tea for everybody, but I really suggest if you read this to at least try it once. So once again, thank you to the creators. Great job and look forward to your updates.
Cannot open
I have the oculus quest 1 and I cannot open this game.
Love it but…please fix the fb connectivity
I’m totally hooked, it is such a wonderful way to meditate, self evaluate, and improve my awareness of my body. However, I have lost my progress twice now. When I tried to login with my Facebook, it is saying there is a connectivity issue and that is where I had originally logged in. So it would be amazing if that could be remedied. I don’t know how many times I can keep going through the beginning stages of the program before I just give up on the App altogether, which I would rather not do because, when it’s working, I really do enjoy it.
Not a good app
Every time I go into a new world , it asks me to create an account and pair with my VR headset. Plus the VR Video is also not crisp. I still feel that I wear a headset and cannot experience what’s Maloka has to offer.
Can’t create an account
Would love to play this. It’s one of the reasons I bought the Meta 3. Can some in support help me. I am frustrated
Maloka meditation review
I don’t review much, but the VR Maloka is quite spectacular. I have the phone app too and they’re both absolutely high quality. I have calm and headspace as well as Maloka and it is amazing that this app is free. Knocks it out of the park. One of my favourite ever meditation apps and was the reason I started meditating properly. Recommend the VR version as it hits different
Can’t create an account
Creating an account doesn’t let me. Keeps on throwing invalid email or password. What’s going on with this?
Gut
Bunt, Friedlich, Freundlich und verspielt. 👍🏼
Was awesome but now can’t log in
This was an amazing app for both phones and VR. But now I have lost everything and can’t log in to start over! What happened
Please don’t go!
I love the Maloka VR app. During the pandemic and even now, this app has helped me through some really stressful, emotionally difficult times and I’m so heartbroken to hear that this app is going away. I’d be more than happy to buy access to this app. It’s so wonderful and calming, and it’s a really sad thing to see it go away. Please reconsider! This app is a lifesaver and although many people don’t remember to leave feedback or show gratitude, I know there are countless others who depend on this app. I’m sure many others like me are stuck at home because of our health issues and are so grateful for the help.
Won’t even let me create an account
I tried creating an account on the VR headset as well as on the app on my phone, and I cannot get past choosing a spirit animal, which it won’t let me bind to it keeps going in loops this app is useless
A great escape
This game is the sweetest! It teaches you about meditation and at the same time allows you to build your private oasis. As you meditate more you unlock movement as well as sound meditations. My first sound bath was gongs. Completely awesome escape. My spirit guide is cute and joyful. I definitely look forward to spending time on and building my island.
Was impressed until….
The app locked up at the intention setting area and I had to uninstall and reinstall Still isn’t working correctly!
Vr
Vrvrvrvrvrvrrvrvrvvrvr It is good
Why is this app still here? No support. Developer unavailable
I downloaded this app and have the VR app. Since the announcement that they would be continuing I continued to use and grow my island. Would not have bothered if it was going to be for nothing. However on both platforms there is zero support. I have an account with a massive amount of lessons and unlocked features that I can’t get to because I got locked out for some reason and can’t get back in. I know I’m using the correct email and password because they were saved in my phone. You can’t even create a new account. Every attempt to get into my account or create a new account results in the message -incorrect email or password. How the heck can it be incorrect if it’s new. This is soooooo frustrating. If it isn’t supported it shouldn’t be here!!!!!
Love this app but not the login process
I stumbled onto this app in the Oculus world and instantly fell in love with it! It’s been exactly what I needed after a workout. I would give it 5 stars but I always get knocked out of the system and struggle to log back in. Today the site is giving me server errors and it’s not recognizing my username anymore. I’m hoping they’ll fix this issue soon so I can get back to my routine.
Since last update app won’t start anymore
Really love this but last update makes it impossible to lay on iPhone
Feature Idea
They should make a shop with clothes to dress up Maloka (pay in spirit points). This would encourage me to meditate and use the app more as I would want to buy all the clothes lol.
Can’t link
Absolutely no guidance on how to link to VR. Just tells me to look for a code on my headset. WHERE.
Love it but buggy
I absolutely love the app, but I haven’t been able to use it in a while because of the way it won’t even load me in. I really want to keep the app but I haven’t been able to even use it because of this issue. Other than that, before the actual issue happened it was perfect!
Verification email not received
Installed on my Quest from AppLab, and did the intro in VR. It instructed me to download this app and set up an account, but I couldn’t go any further as I didn’t receive the verification email. I tried clicking on “send again” just in case but didn’t get anything, and I did check my junk mail. Looking forward to trying more of the app in VR if we can get this account set up. Thanks.
The fact this service is free is astounding
Maloka is the best mediation application in vr I’ve had others and although others may have better visuals (debatable) maloka makes the whole experience feel... wholesome. It makes you feel good everytime you use it. The constant updates show the devs care. This is my favorite free software of all time and I would never be upset if it became paid. There is so much value here. To the devs... heck of a job. Please keep the updates coming even if you have to go paid. One cool feature could be a journal you could talk about your day on. That way you could look back at your journey. Regardless thank you so much for this app it has quickly became my favorite.

How is this free???
(Review for the oculus app this links to) I absolutely love this app and would pay good money for it if I had to. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by downloading. The guides are excellent and the addition of programs makes it even better. As an added bonus, I have a hard time doing certain tasks unless I turn them into some sort of game and this scratches that itch. You can see your progress, get rewarded with plants and decorations for your island, and just spend time “gardening”. The only downside is that the spirit guide is cute at first, but now that mines evolved it’s kinda off-putting. Still, that is the ONLY negative and it’s not that big of a deal because everything else is so great.
Frustrating
App is taking way too long to download. Need this app to continue on my Oculus so I can start my meditation and go on with my day. But the slow download is ticking me off. After waiting 20 mins I decided to download a random app at the same time to see if it was my connection. nope. The 2nd app (large) downloaded in seconds and Maloka isn't even a quarter done. Even rebooted my phone. Typed all this and the app still isnt finished. Not how I wanted to start my day.
Notifications
No need to send multiple notifications for the same thing at the same time.
Can’t log in at all
I’ve deleted and reinstalled and keep getting 404 errors or “email not found” while trying to register. The app is beautiful on VR but requires a sign in to keep your progress. If you could log in, it’d be awesome! Really disappointed.
Cute Spirit and amazing meditation
Very calming and relaxing
Can’t even play
I’ve been waiting since yesterday to receive confirmation email. Tried to email your customer service and the email address doesn’t work. Very frustrating as I was really excited to play.
