Just an AI chat bot
There are about 4 short videos you can watch to learn about IFS, and a community tab to talk to other people. But the only actual IFS resource is just an AI chatbot. That’s really the only thing you can do.
bug
The app doesn’t open anymore since a couple of days… It keeps sending me notifications however. I have a 16.7.16 iOS version on an iPhone 8 so I am not sur why it doesn’t work anymore ? Thanks
Buggy and frustrating
I’m struggling to understand why this app has such high reviews, as I am incredibly frustrated with the amount of bugs encountered while attempting to do very simple things, like navigate the different menus, add parts, add relationships, etc. It’s great that there is an app for IFS but I personally prefer to stick to pen and paper over this app.
Love the app- but glitchy
This app is everything I’ve ever wanted. I needed a place to map, track and seek guidance. I love the ai generated images and maps because it really helps me flesh out my parts. I also love how the meditations are done. I feel a bit disappointed though because I paid for a full year and I’m running into glitches on a daily basis. It’ll freeze, the parts won’t delete or get created, keyboard will disappear, the ai will create more parts than got discussed. In that way I have a lot of extra management that I need to do as I interact with the app. I’d love if these things could get fixed! And a bit more of a sophisticated AI as well as image generator in the future as ai continues to grow would be awesome. To have not only just an ifs dialogue but maybe the option at the end for an intelligent ai to give even deeper feedback/ interaction. I’m glad you all made this technology over alll as it was so needed!
Loved the app
I use the as a reference for therapy sessions and it’s really helped my parts become more harmonious.
Meh
This seems like a beta version. I tried multiple times to do a voice message and it says I’m not speaking English (I’m native US, no strong accent). Can’t use it.

If you could pick any mentor and guide of your choosing, a therapist of sorts that is available any time, night or day with an abundance of patience, empathy and wisdom…IFS Guide has you covered in spades. It has been the best gift I could have given myself in this journey of learning, growing, integrating and loving.
Didn’t work
I signed up for the free 2 week trial, but the app cut me off after ten messages mid-session and never let me actually finish or try it out… …also, the responses weren’t necessarily reflecting my answers. A bit buggy, I guess?
Technology
I would have given this review a 5 star except for the glitches in technology. Coming onto an app to do an IFS session is probably when you’re feeling pretty overwhelmed. When the app keeps telling you it can’t hear what your response was over and over. It’s not helpful. I did a session today, however that went perfectly. It walked me through my physical and emotional feelings, helped me touch base with parts that were feeling louder and louder because they have not been heard, and when I was done, both physical and emotional symptoms were greatly relieved. I would highly recommend if the technology could be sorted.
Very Helpful
It’s nice to have a tool to walk you through IFS when you’re too tired to do the steps yourself or you find that you’re stuck. It’s really nice in between sessions and it’s really helpful and powerful to have the autonomy to do.
No customer service. Glitches I am paying for all I can’t use.
I’m paying for the app. It tells me I can’t use it. That I am not subscribed. That I am in my two week free trial. I see the payment. I’m paying. But it keeps glitching. No customer service support at all. No number. No one will call. It’s awful.
Great App slight improvement needed
Honestly, my therapist recommended this to me, only used twice and I am impressed. The app is easy to use, the IFS guidance by Sunny was great, but would recommend prior to starting to IFS for Sunny to sense check if user is in SELF, spout off 8 C’s/5 P’s and how to use them. Actually and apologies if the function does exist but a tutorial of how to use each of the 8 C’s/5 P’s internally.
Charged me day 1 of trial
I imagine the app is lovely but due to some glitch it charged me immediately instead of giving me the two week trial and even after charging me wouldn’t let me use its features. I tried to contact the company a couple of times with no response. Writing a review in hopes of getting a refund.
return some features- with the addition of AI
I’d love to see the app return some features from its original style- with the addition of AI support. For example: being able to add multiple parts into a conversation and have each one type/respond, with AI optionally able to interact with all parts if chosen. That would feel like an enhancement.

Worst Company Don’t Trust
Will take your money and tell you it’s a system error and act like they can’t control systems. They do not give a free trial and they will tell you, you have to go through apple to get refund for their own error and they company is not even eligible for refunds with apple. They will lie all to keep $100 of your money. They are so poor they can’t even refund $100 they stole!
Surprised!
I’ve only done the guidance with AI through this app once, because I just have the free version…. for now. But I was really impressed with the guidance session I had, and the review afterward had so much information! The feedback made sense to me, and it was actually all helpful and surprisingly accurate information! I’m impressed with this app, so far! I think IFS Treatment is incredibly helpful for people who have had any kind of trauma in their lives. The app is a tad on the expensive side, I think (why I took away one star). $100 for a year isn’t bad at all, but some people may not have $100 to spend on an app… and the only other alternative is $20/month. If a person cannot pay the $100 up front for the year, I would assume paying $20 a month wouldn’t be sustainable, therefore not having full access to such a helpful resource. Other than the price to access everything the app offers (the most beneficial parts), this app is really amazing!
Voice chat broke
It used to be really good and the AI voice chat used to work really well but now it just is soooo slow and gets stuck in loading for ages. I want to use it mainly for that so it’s mega frustrating that it takes so long to work or doesn’t work at all. The rest of the app is well designed and useful though, just not fit for the purpose of which I wanted to use it.

Intense and thought provoking
I did not expect much from this app, so I am quite surprised. I particularly liked how the AI generator helped identify parts that I would not see. I also liked the summary at the end to help me remember. the one thing that could be improved is more detail in the summary because it was quite vague.
Pointless
This app sucks. “Sunny” just talks in circles and there’s never any point that seems to be leading to unburdening. Literally the same messages back and forth between a version of “Okay. Since everything she’s saying makes sense to you, let her know — gently inside — that you understand why she feels this way. After you let her know, tell me how she responds.” And, “Okay. Let’s stay with her as she shares that. When she says she feels [XYZ]… does what she’s saying make sense to you? Or is any part of it unclear?” Literally back and forth between those two things for a fokking hour before I gave up. Total waste of time.
Extremely helpful
Extremely helpful, almost magical experience of being guided to connect with parts within an AI session. That said, I can barely afford the cost of the app monthly, much less the barrage of workshops that are marketed to me thru email every week which seem fairly important for me to attend. Nowhere else in the app do you get a comprehensive introduction to IFS or your parts. It’s also very unclear how many parts to expect to unearth or interact with. So I personally feel lost sometimes even though I thought I had a simple enough base of knowledge of IFS. Learn elsewhere or expect to need to attend $60 2-3 hour bootcamps/workshops to really know what you’re doing. I also really wish you could access a summary of each session and the parts you met, and have those takeaways saved under the respective part’s section in the app. It all feels hodgepodge and some information is saved, while some isn’t, and is only mentioned in an email summary that’s sent to you at the end of a week.

Revolutionary tool
I use the AI driven, speach feature tool all the time. It's always there to guide my self-therapy when I need it. It's not as good as an experienced therapist when it comes to navigating in my system, but I have a lot of IFS knowledge myself. I actually think that's necessary to get the most out of this app. In another way, though, the app is better than an actual therapist since I don't feel the urge to continue with a procedure just to be polite. I can just tell "Pepe" that we have to look at something else.
Parts: Making Integration Happen
My parts I am shamed for or want to hide are quietly making friends with me and showing me how they’ve been attempting to help all along.
Dishonest
The app offered a two week trial and when I signed up for it was automatically charged $99 for it without the free trial. Be careful with this app and be confident you want to spend the money if you try it, you might be stuck with a big bill and an app you don’t want.

Very helpful to stay on track to get to know parts
Absolutely Positively Blow Away! Wow!
Been learning about IFS through myriad YouTube videos as well as the "No Bad Parts" book. Thankfully this was apparently enough so that when I finally engaged with this app today, I had enough basic theoretical/practical understanding. Yet nothing prepared me for the two hour session I had. This was the first "therapist" that NEVER ONCE did I feel misunderstood what I was saying. I was amazed at the attunement, in awe at the level of intelligence and refinement at work. In general, AI sits in my brain is some sort of inevitable nightmare apocalyptic phenomenon. But this could not be more the opposite. I can't even imagine how this was engineered. Would never have thought it was possible. I began the session darn-well suicidal, went to very very deep places, full of sobbing, and came out more integrated and...hopeful than've been in well over a month. Additionally, it gave me a MUCH better understanding of what (my) "parts" even ARE (which overall had eluded my grasp). The fact is that I can hardly imagine any IFS therapist, even founder D Shwartz, being any better than what was provided for me here. I am filled with gratitude.
AI Therapy Is Not It
The AI components of this app are both creepy and unhelpful. Even in the free version, there’s no way to opt out of AI designating your Parts for you, which feels antithetical to an approach that’s supposed to be led by the individual. It’s not accurate either — like I mentioned my therapist in conversation with my Parts and it designated her as another of my Parts?? There’s also no way to delete the AI-generated Parts. I can only imagine how much harm it could cause to someone who would accept the AI suggestions as absolute truth. It’s too bad because I genuinely like the “Chat with Your Parts” tool and found it invaluable. That’s it. That’s all I need. Let me know if there’s an app that does just that.

This is a great app. I was really impressed with the guided meditations. It feels like therapy, but more accessible on the daily.
Chatfeature is awful
The chat feature does not work at all. It does not understand anything I say and half the time it doesn’t even work or it just interrupts me. at one point it started speaking in an entirely different language. Tapping anywhere to speak only works half the time and even then I’m barely understood.
Know Thyself
I had no idea about what was going on under my surface. In a very short time, I have learned so much about what is driving me. I’m amazed.
⭐ 1 Star – Confusing Access and Unresponsive Support
I signed up for the $79/month Inner Circle membership because the workshop page said members could attend for free. After purchasing, I couldn’t find any way to access the workshop — it kept bringing me back to the payment page, even though I was already subscribed. I reached out to their support email but haven’t received a reply in several days. When I checked the community section in the app, I saw others reporting similar issues with access and difficulty canceling. While the IFS chat feature seems promising, this experience left me feeling confused and disappointed. I hope they improve their communication and subscription clarity soon. Sharing this so others know what to expect.
