Does the job
Works well and is free! I’ve had it for a number of years and it stays reliable
Doesn’t work fully
I paid the one time payment and tried the watch and phone. The watch would work for three vibrations then miss 2 vibrate once and nothing till I stopped the app then it would vibrate 3 or 4 times. Requested a refund as it’s causing stress not relieving it.
Disappointed: Haptics don’t work for fee
I purchased the premium version to get the haptics. First of all, there are no vibrations with the freemium version which is why I needed the haptics. I thought the haptics didn’t work but that’s because you’re not prompted to enable System Haptics in Settings. Once that’s enabled, haptics work. If you’re using 2 phones, then haptics only work on the phone you paid on. That’s just dumb. To get the haptics to work together, I would beed to buy a second premium version?! Why have the bilateral audio and not the haptics? I double checked and the haptics are enabled in the settings on the 2nd phone. Also the sensation (on the one hand only, argh) are in a bit of a funny spot and quite short. The connection to my 2nd iPhone is sporadic too - it sometimes doesn’t connect at all or might connect but then loses the connection. I’m using an iPhone 13. I want to use it but it doesn’t work properly. The sensation isn’t really comparable to an actual tapper device.
Watch pairing issue
I’ve just downloaded the app and the watch/phone version doesn’t seem to working properly. The watch vibration/sound cuts out half way through, while the phone continues to do the passes. Is there a way to fix this please?
Great app!!!
I’ve been conscious that when reading my eyes don’t track very well. Since using the app it’s been very helpful.
Regularly crashes and doesn’t work well with Apple Watch
Crashes before the end of a cycle, missed vibrations or cut off beeps when watch is “active”, visuals work well on phone, but the visual gets stuck and continues to show on watch. Doesn’t always recognise watch is active and requires multiple refreshers to work.
Great App
Just bought this app as I was looking for an EMDR app and wanted to try it out! I love the choice of having sound or sensational vibrational beats that move from one side of my phone to the other which feels more powerful for me and I can use it as I’m listening to affirmations rather then watching the visual beats. It’s actually a free app but I decided to buy it as I didn’t want advertising and I like to support the person who developed the app. I went to the developers website she’s a counsellor who wanted to support people during covid. There’s an affirmation video you can watch too using EMDR. I’ve already recommended the app to others I’m a counsellor who had to stop working for a bit because of deep birth trauma so thanks to the seemingly lovely lady for developing something like this! I wish you well! 🙏
EMDR has changed my life
Thank you so much for making this app free. The buzzers are really effective for neurodivergent people as the eye movement mode can be hard to follow when you have autism or ADHD and can make me feel travel sick due to photosensitivity. The app makes it more accessible to people outside clinical settings and means I can carry on my sessions when I’m feeling overwhelmed or use it to help manage anxiety and panic attacks.
Not worth it for one time or regular subscription
Regularly crashes when selecting guided session option Absolute scam due to the exorbitant charge for minimal customizability
What a find!
I am so delighted to have found this app and it does what I want it to do admirably. I have had a series of EMDR sessions with an experienced therapist and have found it very powerful & effective. I wanted a way to do some EMDR myself at the time that triggers arise rather than having to wait to see my therapist and this app works perfectly. My only slight negative is that using both watch & phone for bilateral stimulation doesn’t work very well, it’s too finicky as the Apple Watch can’t be set to stay active. This is minor though as I find using the bilateral sound and vibration just on the phone works perfectly. Eye movement works well on the phone too though I prefer the vibration and sound personally as I find memories & body sensation easier to engage with my eyes shut. Many thanks for this great tool, and the premium payment is very reasonable & worth every penny.
No sound
Trying to get a refund. The sound, even in the tutorials only works 30% of the time. I need an app doesn’t cause me stress when I start it.
Thumbs down
Useless unless you purchase the overpriced membership
