Beware of surprise renewals!
Initially downloaded the app and Trial version. Needed the premium to check out the advertised features but never used after first day. Then BAM!! 6 months later after forgetting the app was there (OS actually uninstalled it) I find a $99.99 charge on my card. The company explained the legalese of their subscription policy and graciously offer a 25% refund. Think hard before getting into any commitments with this Company!!
Need Indian menu items too
App is great with good food selection/ recipes. Would be great if there were more South Asia food options too to better control per local taste
Unable to cancel subscription
I have repeatedly tried to cancel this subscription the, app, web login tried in multiple computers just switches to a message there is an error and does not allow to go to the subscriptions option
Responsive customer service
This app does not appear on your subscription list. Be aware that the subscription must be managed in the app itself. When I contacted customer service for assistance they were very responsive and accommodating.

Shady Company
Don’t bother with this app. The company that runs it is nearly impossible to get ahold of and they’ll continue charging you even after you’ve cancelled your subscription. I contacted them via email to cancel in February and was just charged $100 for “automatic renewal” on June 7th. Now they’re refusing to refund the full amount, even though the error is on their end and I’ve provided them documentation multiple times. It’s not worth the headache to even start.
It improved my numbers
Started end of October 2025. Stuck to food plan about 90% of the time. No hamburgers, beef, chilly dogs, fried chicken, ice cream unless I was out to lunch and then I was careful. My total was 210 HDL when I started and 182 in April 2026. LDL went from 130 to 90. Normal across the board. I was more relaxed in the last month but still ate and measured food.thrilled. I think I will stay on it for a while longer. I have had lobster, blackened salmon, profiteroles, fried fish with chips, corn, beef sandwich, sandwiches, but not an awful lot only on occasion.. Anybody who’s a little disciplined and can spend the money on raspberries blueberries Chia seeds, should definitely do it. No drugs, people no drugs.
Won’t let me cancel subscription
My 4 month subscription just ended and I haven’t been able to access the “manage my subscription” section to cancel. Now my credit card has been charged another $100+ Scam.
Potential scam
Read fine print closely. After initial introduction charge it will automatically renew without a notice to you and you will get an error message in trying to cancel three app and you will have to argue with your cc to not pay the charge.

Lovely little app!
Lovely little app - I liked the interface and found it easy to use, a section for everything - medication reminders and quantities, meals and health planning, and stats on your heart rate weight etc. Especially liked the option to add a caregiver. Will continue to use and see how I get on!
Not very impressed
I would like to start with a positive about the app. The recipes are very good. I’ve had no complaints about that. I started the app after looking at what DASH diets were after being to I had high cholesterol. However, this is a recipe app only. To say it’s a meal Planner designed around you is wrong and misleading. It seems to me the recipes are random and you can change the food you eat at will. The only thing I like is it provides you with choices on the daily. However some recipes have ingredients I do not use. The app to my knowledge does not link to other apps like walking/running apps, exercise apps, Apple Health, etc, so everything they want you to monitor has to be done manually. I don’t have blood pressure machines/devices on hand so how is this possible. And why do they need my medications? Are they selling my information? I wasn’t pleased with the app and contacted customer service to cancel the app and get a refund, due to it not working for me. Customer service was responsive however it seemed like the email was scripted. I can say this because I had several emails that were changed slightly from their original response. I was denied a refund because there is a 24 hour grace period to try the app. I never saw this in writing. You can get a refund but, it will only be provided if it’s the fault of the app. Please, just sell me the cookbook which include your recipes. It would likely be cheaper than the investment I made in this app, because the bottom line is that’s what Cardi Health is, a recipe generator only.

Beware of lack of cancellation confirmation
2 1/2 years ago when I canceled the subscription to this app, because of lack of use, I never thought about it again until I noticed a $99 charge on my credit card. While researching THAT charge I happened to go back a year and found another $99 charge. There were never any renewal notices. Be sure to get a cancellation confirmation or credit card company can’t help you dispute the charges. Per American Express.
Not for vegetarians pescatarians
There needs to be an option saying you don’t eat poultry, not just one for red meat. I contacted them and they did something that gave me fewer poultry options (but not none) but then the meal plan regenerated and it was all back, 80% of my options for lunch and dinner had poultry. Cancelled my subscription, it’s more of a hassle than it’s worth.

It’s all about taking your money. When you cancel they will tell you that you should have canceled 48 hours before the due date and keep your money, just like they did to me. I would stay away.

You download this app, complete the questions and then realize it’s $24.99 to join. You think I’ll try this out only to find that it was’t for you, you delete the app cancel this subscription only to be charged $99 six months later. It’s deceiving!

Be careful if you decide to download this app. It does Not show up in your Apple ID therefore they sneak in a charge for $100 every six months. keep an eye on this one. I guarantee it’s not worth it.

Terrible app
The app hasn’t worked since I got it. Didn’t generate the meal plan every time I tried so I didn’t even continue to try and use it. I know I canceled my subscription and now I got charged. And now I can’t update the subscription. Again the app conveniently doesn’t work to allow me to stop being charged. Really not happy and really not Impressed.
