Proud follower
I’ve followed Alux for 8 years now and it’s been a truly remarkable journey. I’ve grown in so many ways especially financially. What they offer is gold! When the app came out, I jumped right into it. The daily episodes are just what I need to remind me why I do what I do.
Great app but horrible user interface
I am lifetime member and Love Alux but the UX on mobile is horrible. You can’t watch expert’s session continuously when you finish one it randomly takes you to something else and then you have to go back to home page and do four new clicks to see the next episode
First use
The app is little difficult for me, think I am navigating correctly.
App keeps crashing and can’t play steady
Hi Alux, can you get some tech people to finally fix this issue of constant pausing of content? It keeps happening update after update and people have complained enough. Surely this can be fixed. Once that happens I’ll change my review to a 4 or 5 star.
Just started the audio, feels like it’s putting you down as tough love.
I’m going to give it a week, but it’s day 1 and it’s uncomfortable for sure. They can do without putting the listener down though.
A Refined Platform for Growth, Perspective, and Discovery
The Alux app stands as a thoughtfully designed platform for individuals who are committed to expanding their mindset and deepening their understanding of success, wealth, and purposeful living. What makes the experience particularly remarkable is the diversity of content offered. Each section of the app feels intentionally curated, allowing users to explore a wide spectrum of ideas—from financial intelligence and personal discipline to philosophy and lifestyle design. This level of diversification ensures that every visit presents something new to learn, reflect on, and apply to everyday life. Another powerful aspect of the platform is the way discoveries are presented. The structure of the app encourages curiosity and intellectual exploration, almost as if you are uncovering layers of insight with each session. At times, navigating through the content feels like mastering a personal library of wisdom—where every lesson, audio, or insight builds upon the last, guiding the user toward a more refined perspective on life and success. Ultimately, the app does more than provide information; it cultivates a mindset. For anyone serious about personal development and lifelong learning, Alux offers an environment where exploration meets intention. It is a platform that challenges you to think deeper, aim higher, and continuously discover the best version of yourself.
Wanting fingerprint?
I can imagine the potential but I’m not feeding the digital control on biometrics. There’s no reason why this app would need my finger print… So in response to the passive aggressive reply. My perception is subjective of the actual biometric only my iPhone 16. So allow me to update my review to a 1 star.
Apple TV app needed
Aluxers definitely need Apple TV app to watch the courses!
App is Crushing
I experienced issues with the app crashing
Notifications?
Upon signing up for the trial period, you’ll receive a barrage of notifications, both push and email. All to remind you to pay for the app! Upon being convinced that this app will change your life, you succumb to the pressure and pay. Then, poof… no more notifications or a daily reminder to “become amazing”. The content is inspirational. But something feels off about the trial and the actual membership.
epic beautiful powerful
epic beautiful app. inspiring motivating, clear and POWERFUL!! highest quality mindset coaching and material. watched their youtube but wanted more. however, this is not an app for the everyday person tho. this is for someone seeking total and complete transformation. those serious and ready to do whatever it takes to elevate fiancially, mentally, emotionally spiritually etc. for those who are reading this review and who felt a light go off, this is the app for u. it takes courage to grow but still is an epic fun an exciting journey :)
Useless app
Another useless app taking up space on your phone. They sell high priced useless courses in my opinion. They have a section where you can search billionaires net worth but it appears to be completely inaccurate and purely on if the person is a Nice guy or a liberal. Does not appear to be base on any real facts. They have Kanye West listed as being worth only 400k and Jay-z worth a billie even though Jay does not have any company’s that really produce anything people want. Question have you ever seen anybody drinking Jay’s tequila? Do you drink jay’s tequila. No research done. Again just my opinion but it appears to just be completely random with no research just old google searches you can do yourself. Waste of gigabytes.
Loved it
Being a product of the lower class this app really helped and guided me through a lot of different obstacles. Can you guys add a subtitles to us who don’t mind read while listening. It’s easier to catch info when reading and listening to it at the same time
Audio constantly crashing
I’ve been an slicer for many years now but like one other reviewer mentioned the audio constantly crashes which made me delete the app. The content is great but totally useless if we don’t get to here the video. The soo has become slower and worse instead of better over months. Please fix this bug Alux !!
Love the content, but killing my battery life...
I have no regrets purchasing the app. The content serves as daily motivation and inspiration. But the app is destroying my battery life like nothing I've ever used. It will automatically shut down if I turn the screen off, but when I keep it on I'll watch my battery drain by at least 10-15% before a lesson is even done. And my phone gets really, really warm. I get the warning that it won't continue charging until the temperature cools. It only happens with the Alux app and every single time. iPhone 15 pro. Again, I love the content and the mission. I'll update the review to 5 stars when there's a fix.
Let’s go Alux!
Alux is a major asset to your daily life! A must!
Paid but still no access
I paid for the premium service and still every time I click on one of lessons, it brings up the payment screen. I can see the transaction in my bank account and I can see the subscription in my iPhone settings. I will be happy to revise this review when my account is working properly.
-1 Star for Often Crashing
Five-Stars for being Filled with Valuable Lessons. Less 1 Star for Often Crashing. The application has everything you need to get better in life.
The app KEEPS CRASHING
I haven’t been able to use the app for about 2 months now, it’s usually my favorite part of mt commute to work, but every time I play the daily audio the app crashes 30 seconds in. Sometimes even quicker!! I normally love the app and I figured it would be fixed without me having to do this but can a developer please look into it? I have an iPhone 14 and it’s up to date on the updates
Buggy but good
Alux is fantastic overall, but the app has bugs; like it stops playing if the screen is off. Otherwise I give it 5-star rating!
Invest in yourself!
Save time. Improve your life.
scam
don't pay for a self help app your times better spent reading a book for free online if you actually are someone in need of help they ask for 30$ monthly or 200$ yearly for the better version of this app don't do it watch some financial youtubers or read some books graham Stephen, humphrey yang, minority mindset. are great youtubers that give information out freely and if you prefer books rich dad poor dad, the quite millionaire, the richest man in babylon. are great books to read all these resources are free to use and will give you great guidance on how to achieve financial success if thats your goal but never pay for whats given freely.
Excellent
I’ve listened to the YouTube channel for a long time, and finally downloaded the app. Wow. Truly excellent.
3,2,1…..poof!
- Would be great if we could get the audio to play in the background without the app crashing. - Would also be very convenient if there was a search bar to look up lessons. Other than that, great lessons and a lot of wisdom to be soaked up & implemented into every individuals life. Automatic 5 starts if just the crashing bug gets fixed. Thank You Alux! 💪🏻
Good Content But App Crashes
Good content and a great way to keep everything in one place. It can be beneficial, but the App crashes or shuts down. I used the trial period but couldn’t get past the app shutting down and needed to start over.
The Best App for Consistent Bites of Personal Improvement
Challenging daily insights that help to align for your life pursuits. The app is focused on improving your life so that you can accomplish big things and you feel that through and through in the design. The expert series provides lessons on anything you want to sharpen including personal branding, communication, and how to make your first million. Incredible content.
Woke Garbage
The people who write this stuff also write the main stream media narratives. Mindless regurgitation. The woman’s voice was a major red flag that I knew was off but tried to overlook it. Never trust anyone that talks to you like a baby.
Very good but missing that final touch
Everything about the platform is really good and as stated. I’ve become more attuned to my goals as was intended. The only thing lacking is that pretty much any daily lesson, there’s no opportunity to download the video. Instead it plays back via streaming which is very computationally intensive for my iPhone (2nd gen SE). Hence it can sometimes crash and ruins the whole experience of using the app in the first place. If they improved this - 5 stars easily.
App crashing like crazy waste of money
It looks like content lady is actually good, but app developers are not aluxers at it is promising, I like the contents, I paid for one year subscription, but trust me it is crashing every 2 minutes, you can’t even listen a video in 10 attempts, They don’t have direct call number and also I submitted form no response. What you good can content do if you can’t actually consume it. If app is not fixed in a day or two I will stop the sub and claim my refund, as I don’t expect this from a community they promised good life and commitment.
Confused
I was a paying subscriber but each time I tried listening to the lessons, the app would close out and I’d need to reopen several times.
BALANCE IS KEY
Helloooo! If you feel lost but you’re not, this may help.
Come on Alux really???!!! Deleted all my past lessons
Your new update deleted all my past lessons been here since the beginning and now they are go only have some from march. Love you guys but i shouldn't be nervous every time a new update comes out . Please slow down on the new features and fix the bugs pls
Not so great. An 8 min audio crashes 3-5 times. Leaving a bitter experience.
leaves while listening. The audio frequently crashes and has to be started again. A 8 minute audio crashes 3-5 times. The issue is persistent for almost a month.
Crashes all the time + no premium
1) I have paid for premium, and have 3 weeks left on my premium plan before my subscription ends, that I’ve had for months. I cancelled subscription and low and behold I no longer have access to the premium content! So either grant me access to the content I’ve paid for or id like a refund for it. 2) the app crashes ALL the time. I can listen to it for about 45 seconds at a time before it crashes and I need to reload it and try and find where I was in the episode. Funnily enough the actual reason why I cancelled the membership because the crashing is so frustrating despite the good content.
Great Content
Love the content. Love the tone and directness. But the app crashes constantly. Literally every time I’m getting to the best part of the content, it’ll suddenly crash. I’ve given up on opening the app. But I remain loyal on YouTube. Please fix this.
Great app
I love alux and how aspirational they are. This app is amazing. However, price could be lowered. Still a pool great resources!
Crashing
Keeps crashing… for the price you are paying it shouldn’t be crashing a single time.
Nice content but app is Almost useless
This app has nice content but it is as good as useless if you cannot listen to the content in background mode. Considering that the app only contains audio content’s it weird to enforce the user to remain glued to the app while listening to it’s content. Take a cue from Apple Music or audible and figure out how they were able to achieve this.
App crashes so much, please fix this issue
Please do it ASAP
A for Alux
Alux should have courses in high schools so that no matter what route a student decides to take. They have the best information to go on to make it in this life. It has definitely been a godsend for me.
Poorly made
app crushes easily and won’t auto play for the playlist which means you need to constantly going back and forth for each episode. Contexts are extremely repetitive as well.
Just another way to monetize Alux brand
It was just a matter of time after reaching a large audience, to ‘throw in’ a subscription-based service. Nothing new…
Great Content but The app needs Work
I’m not the first to mention this but while listening to a session, the app will randomly shut down and I have to restart the app and a lesson all over again from the beginning. I’m trying to listen and keep up with the lessons but this dropout but is making it very difficult. If it’s resolved I’ll give the app five stars. For now three is the best I can give it.
Pure awesomeness.
I love this app so so much. Best business advice than I’ve seen from any app. Check out their YouTube it’s awesome also
Not worth it, you can’t lock your phone for 2 minutes without it dying
After about 2-4 mins Alux app dies you can’t continuously listen to it, and for it to work again you have to unlock your phone relaunch Alux, then find your audio or course, then find out where you left off, then do it all over again 2-4mins later, repeat, really annoying not worth with the buy and this has been an issue for many months and they don’t fix it
Keeps crashing
Love Alux with a passion and been following for years. Was excited to download the app and continue to improve my life in more ways than one. In the middle of listening to daily sessions even unlocked packs, the whole app shuts down on me and I have to restart the session and fast forward to where I left off. It’s challenging when I get so invested and stops in the middle. I’d love to give five stars once this bug gets fixed.
