I love this
This app has become important in my daily routine. Internalizing Ray's perspectives in life and business has greatly contributed to my evolution. Really grateful for this.
DO NOT DOWNLOAD
I enjoyed Rays books and I doubt Ray intended for this to happen. But this app sold my email to a service that has bombarded me with hundreds of scammy investment “newsletters”. No matter how many I unsubscribe from they just keep coming. Wish I never downloaded it.
Great app, one suggestion
I want to use this app and the notifications are helpful but I don’t always want to use it when they appear. It’s usually a generic prompt with “your principle of the day is ready” I think a better way to pull a user like me in is by sharing those principles right in the notification prompt. It’ll get me thinking and curious and would probably bring me in with just that.
Didn't Save Any of my Progress
After creating Principles or my own and doing the personality assessment test, of which I would frequently open the app the check, I got a new phone and found that none of my data transferred over. Even though I didn't have an account yet created, I imagined the app would have at least backed up the data to iCloud, given most other apps do this in the background anyway, regardless of whether an account is made or not. In addition, the app frequently crashes. Maybe this has something to do with trying to retrieve the previously saved data from iCloud, assuming it had even done so? Maybe it's crashing due to something else irrelevant.
Can’t favourite principles
The app needs updating - I haven’t been able to add principles to my favourite list for at least a year

Awesome content but takes too long to open the app
It’s a shame it takes so long to open the app. Most of the time, I give up and move on before it loads. Great content when you can get to it. Probably best just bookmark the website instead.

App crashing
I’m giving this five stars because I’ve been using this for years and I love it, but recently the app has been crashing so often that it’s become unusable. Can someone please address this? Thank you

This application is so wonderfully amazing and has been a game changer for putting things in perspective. Just leaving a review to bring attention to its effectiveness but also draw attention to the fact that at this time as of this review it is not functioning as intended. I can’t wait to see its return.
Issue with playing video
In reading section, when click on video, nothing happens. It does not not play.

App doesn’t load principles
Principle of the day doesn’t load, none of the case studies as well. App is extremely glitchy. Unusable.
Beautiful designs to compliment the quality content
After a few technical hiccups I got it working. The app is as beautiful as the hardback book. Cant wait to get started and post a new review.
The app usability is rubbish
No matter how good the content is when the product is unusable. Literally, I’m annoyed with the slow response of the app, and sometimes it just doesn’t show any results despite having shown the results previously. The people developing the app and team must try before sharing with the public.
Great Content, but App doesn't always load
I love the content, but the app frequently doesn't load when I tap on my principle of the day notification. The app design and content are fantastic. I wish it worked more often.
HOW TO FIX BUGS
Awesome app. If it’s being buggy, just uninstall and reinstall. That worked for me. I had all the same issues that I’m reading in the 1 star reviews.
Unable to reset password
The reset password function is not working, because the button to submit the new password is inaccessible. There is a bug in the app.
Sensational!
I really enjoy Rays work and all of the content he puts out there for everyone. I was searching through some principles and noticed that the favorite or heart feature to save certain principles is not working and didn’t want to create an account to send feedback to the developer so I decided to do it here. Hopefully it reaches the right people.

The coaching aspect is priceless
The app makes it very easy for you to get “coaching points” from the book. In example, if you type in “I’m stressed”, it will automatically pull snippets from the book describing on how to deal with stress.

Call for audible sections
Thanks Ray and the developers for sharing this! But may I request a small feature: adding audible button for the small sections, and using some AI reading models to read it out! If that can be added, that would be really cool!
Great app undermined by rampant bugs
Barely ever opens. And when it does it’s almost impossible to navigate due to bugs
Good app but favouriting is hit and miss
Overall great content, but the lag and/or small tap target on favouriting a principle is increasingly frustrating. Particularly for what is meant to be a core piece of functionality

Why isn’t it available in other countries except the U.S ?

Please make at least reading supported on iOS 12 on the iPad. I like the interactive elements which are not available on the Kindle or physical book.

Amazing content buggy software
Great content. App is freezing when I try to highlight and not recognizing when I like principles. I have turned by streaming quality down and it has not helped. I tap the download content and nothing happens. Hope this can be fixed
Don’t working
After last update app doesn’t work (
So slow in Iphone 11 pro max
The app takes 30-40 seconds to open, when it opens for the first few minutes it keeps freezing, sometimes exits the app. So ridiculous. Was to be working perfectly couple of months ago. After an update, everything is ruined

What happened to the reading on economic principles? My principles app automatically updated and now that reading is gone. I was enjoying the app thus so far.
Life changing app
I had an old friend tell me about Ray Dalio and it changed my life. I never knew I needed to read Principles until the day I did. The app is seamless, has a free ebook of Principles in the app, has a section of Dalio’s principles and allows you to add your own and favorite some of his. There’s a also a section with lots of cases and videos. 10/10 reccomend! -Bahja
No analysis behind your answers, not interactive
Not sure what the point of this app is. You answer questions but it doesn’t analyze your answers. All you get are generic videos and definitions. Seems like a waste of time. I expected better from BW.
