Best!
One of the best apps I’ve ever come across on the App Store!
Seems to be down
The app doesn’t work at all currently.
Love it apart from the audio versions
I use this nearly daily for some easily digestible content and ideas. The written summary and actions are great however, in my opinion, listening to the audios is not a good experience compared to similar apps. For me, the tones the narrator uses make it difficult to follow and I end up tuning out. I hope this improves.
One review read
For some reason I can see only one review
Great app but stealthy charges
I had used the app a year or two ago and enjoyed it very much. Recently though, I was charged twice for the platinum member ship. I tried to unsubscribe online and via the app but I was redirected to the App iOS menu for subscriptions and it’s not featured! I have emailed but this charge came out of nowhere and at the wrong time! Other than that happy with the app and UI itself. That’s great work.
Love it !
great app love the design of app challenge for 30 days
Hostile dark design
The app won’t even let you open it unless you sign up for a subscription first. I don’t trust shady people on the street trying to sell me a TV out of the back of a van, and I don’t trust shady apps like Mentorist trying to con me out of my money the same way.
Good App
I would give the App 5 stars if you can change the Language if this is possible i would buy Premium too.
App is freezing while moving while clicking on your profile
Kindly resolve this issue. For content-5 stars
One of the best of the lot
App Store is abound these days with book summary apps but there are a very few that stand out . I have already chosen the best presented summaries app according to me but it is low on volume of content due to its high quality presentations of which graphics play a huge part . So , I was on the lookout for a companion app that had volumes but was innovative at the same time and that search ended with mentorist ! It’s a cool cool app with such a pragmatic approach in terms of clearly defined actions. Besides , volume wise it covers quite a library and content wise , delivers a punch with the combination of audio/text summaries and actions . Also , the option to save and review favourite actions and highlight important points makes the utility of the app more enhanced . Completely satisfied .
Have to pay
Asks you to register and start free 7 day trial , no option to check out without above which is rubbish, if u have a good app it should sell itself and make me want to buy the extra options
Fab app, brings together content with action
This is mostly for the owner of this app. This is wonderfully thought through and you should be charging more. This feels very underpriced for value add. I’d at least double your annual membership price.
Limited amount of books, criminal subscription model
Only few books are available and the summary does not accurately reflect the books’ intentions. I am stuck with a yearly subscription because the app didn’t notify me (as promised) about the end of the free trial. And there is no way to change it to a monthly subscription.
Just what I was looking for!
I am a recent non-fiction junkie and was looking for an easy way to keep track of all the useful insights gained from these books, Mentorist looks to have done it. One thing I would love to have though is the option to adjust the speed on the audio summaries. Other than that, keep it up! So glad I found this app!
Appealing approach to mental health
Signed up for a free trial. First article I opened with ‘No one needs anti-anxiety medication!’. This is a reckless and dangerous statement. Whilst I don’t take medication for my mental health, many people do, and it keeps them alive and enables them to thrive. I hate to disappoint the app creators, but that includes some within the top 5% most successful people, whatever you’re telling your subscribers. If they can’t get basic science-based stuff like this right, why waste your money on further poor quality pop-psychology? **developers response takes no responsibility for app content, as they only ‘curate it’. If you own a shop or museums, you’re responsible for its content. This is no different.
Excellent app!!
On the free version, you’re able to navigate through the summary of each book and the number of lessons being taught! It’s very precise and straight to the point. I’m really enjoying it!! Thanks!
Trial Hostage
Force people to include payment information on free trial is a barrier.
Great
Really liked the idea of the app and the concept. Although I loved it , it’s a bit costly. If it would have been a little cheaper would surely have taken the pro version.
Ridiculous
You force people into taking a 3 day free trial in which i am not interested.
Accountability
We have to identify the skills necessary to achieve our goals! This app has wisdom , skills and encourages accountability!
Practice wisdom
Knowledge without practice is worthless. This app is the first ever product to learn new habits from proven though leaders
Very good app.
It makes it easy to improve on yourself by providing simple step by step goals. It uses information from many great books. I LOVE IT!
