Deserves more love
It’s like slay the spire but doesn’t just copy it it actually feels like its own game and the idea for companions is amazing I bought every dlc and plan on buying more but I hope in a future update I can buy skins cause I work a lot and don’t have time to do the challenges but it’s so cool how the skin also changes the art of the cards been playing for a couple weeks and can’t wait to play more I play this game more than slay the spire that’s on my console
Watching ads makes the screen black
As stated. Watching ads for things makes the screen just go black after the ad is over. Have to restart the app. This bug is over a year old and still not fixed. 1-star review stays until that is fixed. Also, this game is many years older than Slay the Spire. Quit saying this is like that game. That game is like this. Except Splay the Spire is boring.

Had a really bad impression of card games and roguelike stuff in general but this is actually pretty fun. I like the art style and mechanics. Definitely recommend

Despite having bought dlc, I’m still getting ads. Unfortunately, the ad takes over the whole screen and you must shut down the app and start it again to continue.

Good even with the bugs
It seems like the game is mostly complete but there are a few bugs where an effect does not do what it should. For example a card that should 'activate' a unit twice only does so once. These bugs are somewhat common but surprisingly do not really bring the game down nearly as much as you might think.
Mediocre Slay the Spire with game breaking problems
If you’ve played Slay the Spire, you’ve played this but in a much, much better and far more optimized form. This game is a direct rip of StS, sometimes down to even the names of certain card mechanics. Except this game is not balanced, the grammar is a bit all over the place and confusing at times, and the strategy is much, much shallower. The steampunk Hearthstone-esque artwork, while nothing original, is pleasant. If you have Apple Arcade, Slay the Spire is free and 100% worth it. Indies’ Lies is almost passable for someone wanting that experience but can’t pay for anything at all. I say ALMOST because once an advertisement pops up, the game will no longer load and you will have to force quit the app and cross your fingers that your progress was saved. tl;dr: Slay the Spire rip with Hearthstone skin. Bad grammar that can result in gameplay issues, lack of deep strategy, and game-breaking bug following advertisements prevent me from recommending this to anyone. Get an Apple Arcade trial and play Slay the Spire+.

Great game, I play it a lot
But there’s a glitch. Wherever there is a ad it never ends. The screen just goes black and I’m stuck staring at the screen. Until I exit and restart the game, just fit it to repeat.
Whiteout survival ad breaks game
3 times in a row an ad broke the game and I was not able to progress. Restarted the battle after restarting the app and it did the same thing. Cannot progress further.
Watch ads turn screen black
Great game but when I watch an ad for perks, the game screen is moved to one side or the screen is black and we cannot continue. Have to restart the game but then have to rewatch the ad. Ad is useless pretty much. Still great game but this is a bug.

可以離線遊玩這點深得我心 每個角色各有特色，隨機性的遭遇配合各種不同的決策和技能，讓每一場過程都有不同的體驗，很有冒險的感覺，此外桌遊式的玩法、一定程度的角色成長要素非常有趣。 後來發現角色被添加一些莫名其妙的布料，胸口加布料、大腿加布料、肚子加布料，有必要嗎？這種超級大減分的要素。
If only translation was better
This is one if the best Slay the Spirelikes on mobile. The UI is changed from PC to be better for mobile and $3 to remove all ads and get a DLC pack is VERY fair. Diversity in character builds is so fun and I love how overpowered you feel while enemies still give challenge at those overpowered states. The game improves with every update.

Fun but Ads Break It
Great game play but when the ads finish, the screen blacks out and I have to restart the game…so I don’t get the loot and have to replay fights I’ve already won.

Great deck building roguelike. Only thing that I would want to improve would be the English translation.
Bug with ads
The game had an update in the last few months that makes playing the game post ads impossible. For example, if I want to claim an item reward after some battles I must watch an ad. The ad moves and resizes the window when redirected to the App Store. If you are lucky enough to click the “x” to get back to the game, the window is only partially viewable and can no longer be interacted with requiring a restart. The worst part is, you still get no reward benefit and would need to watch the ad again leading back to the bug. The game is otherwise great, but the ads (especially with this bug) absolutely kill the joy for me.
Broken ads
I want to give this game a higher rating. It’s a fun take on Slay the Spire. But the ads served before each boss are so broken the game has to be fully closed and reopened to continue playing. Also the grammar is just not great. Generally that’s not a huge deal, but it often makes mechanics hard to understand.

Please fix this bug
I understand that we need to watch a few ads, but about 40% of the time when I finish the ad, and I’m taken back to the game, there’s a graphics error. The game is no longer full screen, but instead it’s crammed in a small window and unplayable. I must restart my pad to get the game back. When I start again, I’m not given the credit for watching the ad and I have to do it again and hope the same thing doesn’t happen. Frustrating!

Bugged ads ruined the game
Played this on my old Android device and liked it enough to come back and play again on my iphone. Unfortunately I keep getting bugged ads in the game which force continuous restarts. I got 3 black screen in a row then decided to uninstall and find a game that actually works. It’s a shame because this was a really cool little game when it worked.
Nice game, bad translation
Mechanically this is a nice deck builder with plenty of depth and content to keep it engaging. The art and polish are impressive and it has enough originality and distinction from other games in the genre to earn a spot on my tablet. But the translation to English is so unwieldy it gets in the way of the experience. The tooltips, card text, and lore references make it hard to know what’s going on, both due to grammar and word choice and also some flat out bizarre associations between one thing and another. For instance the Event nodes always come with some quote from the game world’s historical archives that seems completely out of context with the event it’s supposed to illuminate. I’m sure these references make perfect sense in the developer’s native culture, but that sense is utterly lost in translation. (What are all these “camps”?) This continual weirdness makes a well designed and beautifully produced game feel confusing and disjointed to play. Just one good localization pass could fix this completely if done by someone with the proper linguistic and cultural comprehension. I’d like to see that because this is a really nice game that deserves to succeed.
Another scrappy roguelike
game type is not a reason to rate your down. Roguelike is a nice way to have fun. there are many great roguelike games before and others are just copy them but have even worse footage. UI not bad. Characters not fit with background. everything are just not match. looks like all your game company are just drag some pictures together and make it to a game. then the game through are wired. the enemy are just not doing any thing threaten. some of them just do nothing for a round. may the assistence role is a only nice try of this game. but guess what? a assistance have a whole deck of combo but while in assistance he can not combo cus he only have one card of combo!
good game, just be aware that the full game is 6$
I don’t mind this that much, but to unlock every hero and location you have to pay 6$ in total. an in-game currency that can allow you to unlock new heroes would be a good substitution for that. Also, the translation is still really bad despite all of the reviews complaining about it. the lore is completely unintelligible and sometimes card descriptions are confusing. Definitely try the game though!

Very comparable to slay the spire with way more content. Removing ads only costs 3 dollars and comes free with DLC. Highly recommend.
Decent game with catastrophic bugs
Don’t get me wrong. I like this game, and it’s playability is pretty good even if the gameplay is a bit shallow for a free player. I’ve lost count of how many cycles of this game I’ve been through, each one different than the last, but there in lies the problem. I feel like on EVERY CYCLE, if I run into an ad for any reason, it bricks the game by have the ads only on a portion of the screen and forces me to force close the app every single time, which has resulted in me losing my progress every 4/5 runs. You may say, well, why didn’t you just buy the dlc’s to get rid of the ads? And to that I say, I would definitely consider doing so if it didn’t set a standard of what performance I can expect from this app. It’s a fun game, this was my first taste into the entry of games like slay the spire, but if this is what I can expect, then I’d rather uninstall the game, and go with an experience where I know that won’t happen. I will reconsider installing it again and becoming a paid player if this issue gets fixed in the future. Thank you.

Can’t purchase dlc’s with apple gift card, game requires me to have a credit card to buy it whereas i can buy other games and dlc’s with gift cards only
不耐玩
關卡不多，有些劇情線索又很難收集，居然為了解鬼手綺麗的劇情事件刷了10輪都刷不到，遊戲提示還說是大概率；換試解丹尼爾的，線索卡牌也是好幾輪刷不到，去社群看不少人說也很難刷。我只是要看個劇情還要搞這麼農，真的是有病的設計，怒刪遊戲。
Good Game
I purchased this game a while ago, but only recently started playing. I unlocked all DLC then updated a few days after. Now it’s saying I need to purchase the final DLC after I already purchased? It won’t let me retrieve purchase. 4 star game otherwise. 1 star off for forcing me to rebuy a DLC.
A hidden gem
Best mobile roguelike since Dawncaster. It’s cheap to get rid of ads and the dlc is substantial for the cost. I’m excited to play this game for years to come.

An ad improperly played and the game went to black after the ad and never came back up. I won't play a game that does this.
Good game
This is a vary fun game and doesn’t take long to learn my only complaint is that there is only three characters you can play unless you buy the DLC.
