Was fun for a second but this game has to have some of the worst rng I have ever seen in my 28 years on this earth.

Remove the unwanted ads, but I know you need the choice ads.
Can’t win against luck and a computer
Played the game for 4 hours and didn’t enjoy half of it. In a game so reliant on chance it’s all too clear they stack the odds against you so that you watch adds or spend money in order to make any kind of progress. A stroke of bad luck and you die and lose 3/4 of the last hours progress. Respectfully, that’s bs. The gameplay is a good idea, too bad the rest sucks. Do better.

Excellent Game, Menu Bug
This is one of the most ingenious, original games on the App Store, and I would love to give it five stars, but I can’t get past the menu anymore. I’m on iPad Pro (2019), fully updated. It’s been a couple of years since I played, but I opened this up again today, and it froze on the menu screen where it asks if I’d like to start a new game or continue. The screen dimmed, like there should be a pop-up window, but there was nothing; just a dimmed menu, and I couldn’t interact with it. Please fix this and get five stars!
Cool
It’s a good game but some things could be better
Clunky but otherwise enjoyable
The clunky option confirmation interface is an impossible burden to bear trying to enjoy this game. I liked the game but feel the stagnated enjoyment is woefully boring with too much tapping and waiting to experience very little. I was into this too.
Forced Ads
So far the game is fun. Some enemies feel like they get perfect card draws a little too often. There are occasional forced ads which is my reason for the 3 star rating. Plenty of opportunities for voluntary ads exist, why do you need to force them as well? It diminishes the experience. Otherwise, fun so far and would recommend.
Amazing Game but more please!
Just talking strictly talking about the content it has, one of the best games on the App Store. So addictive. Mechanics are amazing. It is such a creative deck building, dungeon searching rpg. Quite unique. It does have many different cards and different types of enemies. One of my favorite games I have played. But my one complaint is once you have been playing for a while and have gotten good. There isn’t much to the game. The content is limiting. Hopefully developers you hear me and are working hard to add more to this game because it is great for what it is at the moment.

Updated Review Game is sluggish and freezes. Shame. Freezes every time I play. Unplayable. Original Review Over all fun and enjoyable. Could use some QoL improvements tho. At the end of a run there's no option to skip scoring, please add an option skip to the end of the total score. Option for faster battle animations, or to skip all together, especially since it's a grinding type game. Fun at first. Battles quickly become drawn out.

Addicting game that deserves better work
Void tyrant is an engaging and challenging game with enemies, maps, and character decks change every run. The difficulty also increases consistently as characters get stronger every run while enemies get stronger (and more rewarding) every win. To make this game great, the UI needs to be more helpful to the user in the following cases. 1) After accepting a mission, it should be possible to view the original details of the mission besides the headline, helping players plan their run accordingly. 2) When choosing whether to add a card to the deck, there should be a way to get the definitions of any keywords. Currently, if the player taps the keyword to get the definition (which is a consistent action with cards already in the deck), the card is automatically added, sometimes replacing existing cards. 3) There should be a way to view the character stats when adding cards to the deck. Especially for consumables since they can be used immediately. Otherwise, the player may waste a consumable or an opportunity to use one

This game is a lot of fun to play and I have been playing for awhile now. However, all of a sudden my in game purchases are missing. Restoring purchases doesn’t work and neither does reinstalling. :(
fun but $$$
it's a good game, occasionally you just will lose your run with no way to avoid it but that's not too uncommon for roguelikes. it is FULL of ads so it's basically unplayable with wifi on, and CONSTANTLY hounds you to buy spirits and the cloning device.

Too many ads
This is a good game, but it’s unplayable due to ads. There’s a pop up every other encounter and it really kills the mood and flow of the game. I get that devs need to make money, but they have incentivized ads for a reason. My suggestion is to increase the buff players get from VOLUNTARILY watching an ad, and remove pop ups IF players are watching incentivized ads. This way it would be roughly the same amount of ads, but players will most likely choose to watch on their own, making them feel less frustrated. I’m not going to continue playing until that is implemented. Such a horrible experience.

Good game not to crazy with the adds so it’s playable and replay able wish there was more classes but lots of different ways to play can’t wait for them to add more

I give this rating due to the fact that you are required to pay to remove adds.. they just should not be in the game. The game was extremely fun at first, however, the rng in relation to the attack bar and the cards you pull to fill it can be extremely frustrating after just the second day of playing. Today was my third day of playing and I just uninstalled it. I think the game is great (besides the adds) and very well developed, something fresh and different which was nice.. but again, the rng system to win games is frustrating and just not my cup of tea. I like to win via skill and adaptation, I don’t like the fate of the game depending on random card pulls.

I wish they had add support so that you could use some critical features but a decent game none the less.
Came back
This game got stuck in my head after a few months and it’s just as awesome as I remember, if not better. I love this game and have played for YEARS now. This game is 1000% in my permanent rotation even if I play it every few weeks. 5 stars isn’t enough.
Fun game but mechanics are bad
Rly fun game with fantastic illustrations and graphics. Sadly I find the mechanics a bit grindy. I assumed it might a paywall to get over the grindyness but turns out it wasn’t that. So poorly balanced pay to win mindset game

Get a deck of random numbers and pray to beat your opponent except they have cards that cancel your best hand.
Fun game
Lack of content makes it lose the 5/5. Assassin dlc being underwhelming made it lose the 4. Still a fun game and worth your time if you are ok to pay to remove the ads.
Release a second or a dlc or something please
Genuinely one of my favorite mobile games of all time. Fun loot system and class system, with a well designed and fun combat that always has me feeling excited no matter how many hours I play. PLEASE MAKE MORE CONTENT

Game is heavy RNG based, with the AI being weighted heavily in their favour pretty much all the time.

Good game but a little slow with animations and stuff, and the classes and abilities feel untuned. Paid $$ for the spirits cause otherwise everything is way too slow

Fun game, has potential
Fun on game, with a lot of improvement could be great. RNG/blackjack nature of the game kinda boxes it in, very limited per round. Really just like a coin flip game with some abilities. More room for strategy n synergising cards would be cool. More in-depth information/instruction of the games workings would be helpful too. It’s also messed up, especially for mage runs, that a lot of battles can be 50/50 one shot against you. Like if a boss/elite gets 3-4 shots in one turn, that’s game.

This game has a quirky character and a simple style it is very easy to pick up. It took a little while to understand some of the mechanics and i encourage people to risk a run to try new things. each run will slowly build up enough rewards to make it easier and more interesting to go back to again and again
Good gameplay, good concept
Nice graphics, good gameplay and concept its shame thought that the game is rigged so you can lose. First downloaded it played 3 hours then i rage uninstalled it, if was obvious that it’ just rigged. Downloaded it again to give it a chance but uninstalled it after 10 mins.
Very replayable.
This little roguelike really holds up over time. Even though I long ago finished all the unlocks and ran the map. It’s still a fun replay. One of the few I keep around just for fun!
It’s pretty good
I would of rated it 5 if I didn’t have to be connected to the internet, it would be a great game to play if I had no wifi but there’s just better games and videos to play with wifi

Excessively rigged RNG
As usual of a card based game expect the rolls to be heavily in your enemies favour, expect frequent overcharges on your side and foes to get perfect rolls. Only saving grace is it looks nice. That’s literally it.
Pls nerf chiroptic
I’m fairly new so maybe I’m missing something but the chiroptic seems way to broken to be an early stage fight, 2 turns being able to dodge everything but crits is too op cuz he just steals the mana back before it’s over and uses it again. He has destroyed multiple runs where I’ve take little to no damage then that fight comes along and wrecks me. Again I’m new and might be missing a good strategy for it but still. Other than that great game so far
