I finished the game in less than 5 days and then they didn’t give me any more dishes or the appearances. I had to wait a long time to get the other stuff.
Like it🙂 but…….
I like this game.. it’s fun and good for all ages. However the style is very simple,the game also isn’t satisfying and mama’s hints are getting annoying.😵 Am I the only one who wishes for the general cooking to be harder, but then the actual cooking like cooking with heat to be easier? This review is a sign for mama to zIPidY zIP hEr LiPS🤐 (not to be rude to Mama tho😱😱😱😱)

I’ve played a few Cooking Mama games, and I like them, but the first one I played was Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends on the 3DS system. That game was a lot harder, but that made it more fun. This game is way too easy. On some stuff, I can effortlessly do stuff with more than half the time left on the clock. Some games, like Cooking Mama Cookstar have options or modes to make it harder, but this one doesn’t. It needs it. Please add it! 😢

Heyy!! Hope y'all see this um so there is a problem this game is a really fun relaxing game I played it a lot when I was little and now I downtowned it again but when I tried to play it it keeps showing me the loading screen no matter what like I can play the intro but I can't load into a reg game now sobis it a bug in the game or what but otherwise it was great when I played it when I was little okay bye!!

Cooking-the-right-combination Mama
This started off quite fun and the food looks really realistic for a mobile game, but not being able to select what you want to cook if you don’t have the right combination of ingredients is really annoying, as sometimes you’ll have discovered all the right possible recipes available, but then the game comes to a screeching halt because it thinks you haven’t found all the combinations of food yet. With the original Cooking Mama game, you had to be really precise to get all the points. This most of the time is way too simple now, or the controls don’t quite respond the right way. Whilst the options to customise is a nice feature and I appreciate the game developers adding this in, it doesn’t make up for how frustrating this game can be. Also why is choosing Cooking Mama’s skin colour under options, not customisation? That’s really strange to have hidden this in modern times. Overall it would have been fun if it was a bit more complex and allowed for experimenting with cooking combinations, not just the combinations of the day. Oversimplified gameplay and bizarre customisation options makes this one not for me, which is a shame as I played the original on Nintendo DS, but the series seems to have taken a real step back in quality. Really disappointing.

Gameplay wise it’s solid for what it is trying to do. That being said the cut scenes in between each task are so frustratingly slow and serve no real purpose. I would rather complete each task one after the other without interruption. If this was removed I would give this a solid 5 stars.

It’s so easy that I think you’d actually have to go out of your way to not get 3 stars on everything on your first try. Also the amount of gameplay available is not huge, and the only reason the entire game takes more than a day or 2 to complete is because it limits you to only having certain ingredients available each day. It’s cute and relaxing though. And unlocking new cosmetics is fun.

Some dish options claim no pot is needed, yet pots are still used during cooking. This applies to other dishes too—some skip seasoning selection but seasonings are added, and extra cookware like ovens may appear. Everything else is fine though.
I think I found a really good game for me
OK, it’s usually hard for me to find a good game especially since this one is on Apple Arcade. You can do so many stuff like cook whatever you want and even dress up your own character but mama rates your food and usually I get a good rating. it’s easy and not too hard for me to play. I really love this game. I wish all games were on Apple Arcade 🙂 keep it up.
My Opinion
I don’t like the animation and how she says something around the lines of “Good job! You’re great at this!” When you just spread butter on the pan. It also skips a lot of the steps of cooking. And why don’t you know what you’re making? In real cooking you always know what you’re making. It really annoys me. I’ve only played it for five minutes and I already hate it.
Please make a setting for the timer to be removed
Overall, the game is quite fun, with all the recipes and the cool cooking techniques, but I prefer playing at my own pace instead of following the timer. Also, for some recipes when I try to spin something, I do my best to spin it but it still does not work. I felt like writing this review when the timer ran out but first I went to the settings and there was no option for the timer to not apply to the game. Also please check out Toca Doctor, as there are no timers. Thanks for reading!
So disappointing!!
After loving the first cooking mama games this massively disappointed me! The first week of playing the game is great but then you don’t get any new ingredients so you can’t discover any more dishes! Good game at the start but not one you’ll keep playing in the long run!
Great Game But Not Enough Content
I really love this game, I wish I could’ve given it a higher rating, but I was only able to play it for about a week before I made every combination in the game. However, I wasn’t worried about that because for the entire week it would say “new combinations coming next Tuesday!” Here I am on the next Wednesday, there are no new combinations, and a message that says they’re coming next Saturday. I expect much more from a paid game.

but the stir frying is WAY too hard. everything is so easy except for the stir frying. you have to shake the pan so violently, it’s frustrating how impossibly hard it is.
Won’t Load
So I played the game once and enjoyed it. Tried to play again and it just won’t load, I get the developer credits then a black screen….
Fun but short
This was fun for a few hours but then came to a screeching halt when I’d got all the combinations but no new ingredients unlocked, rendering the game pointless. In general, the game is fun and reminiscent of the Cooking Mama game I used to play on my DS as a child, but the lack of gameplay after a few hours is pretty disappointing.
Creative
This game is so fun, and it’s giving me ideas for real life cooking. I’m enjoying so many details, such as kitchen and outfit customization options. I’ve played previous Cooking Mama games, and this sequel did not disappoint! I like the new voice acting for Mama, too. She’s easier to understand now and sounds contagiously cheerful. I have one recommendation of something to change, so far: please change “Congratulation!” to the more standard “Congratulations!”, for when players finish preparing food well. I would appreciate not having an error distract from the excitement of the in-game completion.

This game is actually fun and enjoyable, for the first two days you play it. After that, you’ve pretty much collected all the ingredients that are available and figured out most recipes. Very disappointing, especially since it’s an Arcade game. If you wanna feel nostalgic for a minute and then immediately be bored, this is the game for you. Otherwise, it feels like they took a game everyone liked from Wii and threw it on here to make money, obvious cash grab.
Weird problem at the start
If you cook stew as your first ever meal, you will not be able to exit it, if you cook anything else you’re fine though.

I’m a kid download it for your kid now they’ll learn life lessons for real life in cooking and baking. It’s incredible for children even grownups have it.

If i could, I would do 4 and a half stars
I have always loved cooking mama games when i was a kid (turning 12 in 2 and a half months. That doesn’t count as a kid, right? RIGHT!?). Well I haven’t played any other cooking mama, but I used to play crafting mama. But i have a few suggestions: 1. I always get three ⭐️ and I think she’s too easy to please. Like base how good you did by how much time it took u to finish. 2. I want the ability to rotate her while I change her. I know u only see her from only a few angles but I still want to see her. 3. I don’t know. I just thought i should have three. Thank you for your time!🩷🩷🩷👩🏼💻🧑🏾💻👨🏻💻 keep up the good work

Terrible controls
On Apple Arcade, but seemingly ignorant of what “swipe up” means for most iPhones. Tired of getting the phone menu when trying to play the game; not nearly as good as the DS original.
cute but glitchy
there are a few glitches that have happened to me in the last step of a recipe that makes me have to totally restart ~ in the samosa recipe sometimes it doesn’t let you pick them up, and with a little pie recipe I was unable to finish it didn’t let me put them in the oven.

i've played all of the cooking mama games on the ds/3ds series and i do not like that we cannot do seasonal recipes. i am remembering now that this is why i didn't like Cuisine comparative to the others. i have to wait an entire year to do so many recipes that i missed, that is ridiculous. and i understand why they do it but...
