Autosave doesnt work
Autosave barely works. Constantly having to redo the same things over and over

I was just playing my game when I realized I wanted more space for my furniture and more realism in the game. I was thinking you could add this by at level three, you could unlock the second floor of your houses🏠 (you’ll see why I said houses in a second), and at level four, you could unlock the third floor. I think that it could be fun if at level five, you could access the second floor of the hotel and all of the rooms in it and have 5 rooms. 2 sims can stay in one room that way more people can stay in the hotel, and you don’t have to leave some townies behind🥺. 5 townies can be there and five shop owners can be there. I was also thinking that you could possibly be able to build one house in every biome that way you can stay in your own place a lot more frequently, and have another place to stop on the train where you can build another slightly larger house and live with other animals,🐎 and build a writing desk to write to other sims to invite them to parties 🎊 and select the location anywhere you want! ! ! I think this would be a good update because simmers would be able to really play in the way they want to and really have fun.🥹 The game becomes kind of restrictive at star 3 for me because there are so many things to build, but I found that there wasn’t enough space.😒 I would like to see this upgrade happen, and I feel like some other people might want to see it happen, too.💝 This could be a really good way to get more people to play this game.🎮 If this can’t happen, please tell me why so I can try to make a better version of this.🗒️ I personally ❤️ the style and graphics, it’s just there’s not enough space in a house and I would like to be able to live wherever I want. 🧞♀️ Thank you for listening! again, please tell me if any of this isn’t possible and why.🙂 P.S: I would REALLY like it if the game could feature a clothing shop for the player to build and you can make outfits for yourself in your shop and gift them to other sims to put on.

A good way to play
its somehow slightly worse than the latest console releases, but at least i can play wherever i go. camera sensitivity is a great addition, but man if you try to rotate during any build mode, you might pick up stuff on accident MULTIPLE times, and unlike the latest versions, there is no undo mode. bummer. other than that, its still the same ol choppy building game i love.

I’m updating my review because the recent update made a huge difference. The controls, such as rotating to see your builds from all sides, are so much better. I’m really enjoying the game. There is one control feature that would be the icing on the cake. I would love to be able to tilt the image up as I move around. Currently, it feels like my character is always looking at the ground. Would help a lot when navigating the town. Such a cute and entertaining game. I love finding new essences!
Trying to build a house 🏡
It is too confusing whenever I try to build a house. It only lets me get one piece. of the house.

I didn’t realize how much I’d like this cozy cute game!
I used to play the sims on the computer 24/7 it started with me always wanting the sims 3 with the expansion packs, the the sims 4 came out when I was like 14 and I was obsessed with it. I didn’t like how you could use a bunch of cc and stuff but anyway my point is I didn’t think I would love this game as much as I do. I never played the old Sims games and I heard how fun they were but I didn’t think they would be nearly as fun as the Sims on a computer I was wrong these are sooo fun totally cute, easy controls just enough variety for building like I am still at the point of building my house and I’ve spent like in total probably like 5 hours making my house there were so many options but I was having fun and that was only the very start of the game! That’s how you know it will probably continue to be a very fun game! Highly recommend to sim lovers and animal crossing fans or anyone like a cozy no pressure relaxing game
Glitch maybe..
I’m having trouble with bypassing the podium. At first the box where she check mark supposed to be wasn’t there. Refreshed so many times until I deleted it. Then the box appeared so I made the podium again. A check appears but the game must not be registering that the podium was built. Trying not to uninstall the game but I’m highly annoyed.
Nostalgic!
Great game! Reminds me exactly of the one I played on my Wii when I was a kid. Very nostalgic and cozy 🥰 controls are even easier on my mac so I’m making way more progress than I ever did back then! I would rate 5 stars, however I don’t like the fact that I can’t remove furniture or decorations after placing them. In your sim’s home, the interior has some furniture already inside. After I’ve obtained new and better blue prints I want to build new furniture, but now I have two beds and and excess of counters that have nowhere to go so no matter what I do my sim’s house looks ugly and I can’t fully customize it. Same issue with all the other buildings in the game. Aside from this one issue the game is really fun and cute!

tutorial/intro cutscene was so unbearable and has no skip button or easier way to make dialogue faster. also the customization thing is super annoying, small hitboxes and the character moves when you try to tap it so i accidentally click the eyes instead of the hair and have to cycle through everything again and you can't control whether you go forward or back so definitely should make it less complicated. it would also be cool to customize your own townspeople but maybe you can and i just didnt get far enough.

Sims don’t seem very active :(
As someone who played this game in my childhood since 2008, I must say that the efforts to port this game into IOS compatibility is nothing short of magical work. This game means a lot to me, and people like me know how dysfunctional this game could be back on the Wii despite its charms, and I’m happy to say that most of the more annoying aspects of the original game are absent. Not only that, but I can see some cute new details that make the game much more enjoyable. I’m loving the addition of some ethnic hairstyles and more outfits. Brava, developers! That being said, I do find it a bit sad that the Sims I’m meeting aren’t walking about the town, playing or talking to one another, much less interacting with the things in their home. I’m sure this must be some sort of bug, but I hope this issue can be fixed soon. I’d love to see my old friends having fun together like they used to. Either way, it’s a blessing that we have technology that can allow these type of games to be played on a handheld device. 7 year-old me would never have believed it! Thank you for all of your hard work. Also, don’t listen to those newgen players nitpicking over autosaves and “bad design”, they don’t know you like we do. Working on porting a game this old cannot be easy!
Loved it until…
Honestly, this game is so nostalgic and I’m so happy I was able to play it for awhile but sadly I don’t recommend switching between iPad and iPhone even though they connect to your game centre. It can easily corrupt your saved game. I saved my game on my phone and then tried to load it on my iPad and there was no saved games anymore in “load game” section. I am unable to load the game on both devices now as the save files doesn’t exist but it was very fun until that happened though I was just close to getting five stars so I probably won’t be starting it again :(
Needs more zoom out
I’m sure I would really enjoy this game but I can’t even zoom out far enough to see what I’ve built. Takes the fun out of it lol but it seems like without that issue it would be a good game to play

Unplayable movement mechanics
I could not even complete the tutorial. The movement makes me motion sick. The ‘joystick’ doesn’t respond intuitively. And it takes way too long to travel between locations.

I Love This Game Used To Play It All The Time As A Kid But I’m Having Trouble Finding The Spider Essence, Some Of My Prospecting Areas Aren’t Working This Game Definitely Needed A Help Option Or Atleast Something Telling Is Where To Locate The Essence
Literally my all time favorite game 🥰
I adore this game so much. The graphics are adorable, the sound design is calming, the gameplay is relaxing, the music is so good, it's amazing, it takes me back to those classic 3DS life sims (arguably better than the actual My Sims game that's on the 3DS, imo) If I had to complain, there's a few oddities, like the camera when you're building stuff is a little buggy, there's not a ton of direction, so I was a little bit lost, and I really don't like the customization function at all (I hate having to tap through options on the buildings and character to change it, instead of having a menu of the customization options on the side or something, because I often do this thing where, when I tap something close to the item I'm done customizing, I end up changing it by accident, so I have to go back and start over) But those complaints don't ruin the game, this is still a fantastic game and I love it 😻 I'd give it 10/5 stars if I could.

Better with the game
I’m stuck on a level I’m losing interest in the game it’s hard to play and I love playing games but it’s difficult to play when you beat at the task
Fun game but…
LOVE THE GAME!! happy i can play it but for some reason it’s not letting me get pass the first task which is the apples i have 22 I have no clue why it’s bugged me.
Classic game brought back to life
I’m ecstatic that they brought this game back! All of the annoying controls from the Wii console are absent. Everything is just how I remember it but better!
Full of bugs
The whole game is full of bugs, its exclusive to apple arcade and I have a macbook pro which should have enough power to play this but the entire thing bugs out, outfits dont load in CAS, you try and change and outfit or hair colour or skin tone and half of the sim goes completly black, my curser completly disappeared and it got stuck just spinning my sim in circles. Slow slow slow. Ive logged thousands of hours of TS4 but literally clicked out of this game while still in CAS because it was just to buggy.

this is such a good port and the graphics are great! my only qualm is the fact it doesn’t save properly. i manually save every time i quit the game, and it autosaves frequently, but every time i start the game again i’m a good way back from when my last save was. if it didn’t have this issue, it would be way more fun :(
Sound not working at all
After doing all the troubleshooting, the sound on this game still won't work. All the settings on my phone and game say it's supposed to be on, but nope, nothing.
newest update broke things
The newest update makes the camera less intuitive and removes gestures. The update also breaks the hold to go back in color in build mode. Had the game glitch in build mode forcing me to quit the game and lose progress (about 20 minutes worth). The game worked great before this latest update and now i’m getting all these problems. I hope this fix this.
The best game no doubt
I love this game so much and I love all the characters like Chef Gino and Maria and I love it!!!! After you read this please get it!!! No errors and ads so I love it and I’m only 7 but I’m at town level 3 so GET THIS PLEASE!!! 🙏🩷👍😍
What happened?
The sims used to be such a fun game. This is a major downgrade. It is confusing to build and the overall navigation is awkward.

Great game, but many crashes
Really fun game, been having a great time with it, but it’s been crashing on me randomly lately, and I’ve lost a lot of progress on grinding for essences from these crashes, which has put a damper on things :/ Will update to 5 stars if they fix the crashing!

God-Awful Programming
Zero thought went into enjoyable gameplay. The design options for both sims and houses are ATROCIOUS and impossible to navigate. Any furniture you want to unlock must be painstakingly put together out of tiny, little pieces. Wasted an hour playing and didn’t get out of the tutorial, which is 90% following the NPC mayor back and forth across town. Stupid, pointless, and gamer experience was completely overlooked.

Nostalgic but lost everything
I used to play this when it first came out as a young kid, loved every second of it! Could’ve believe it was on Apple products and have been playing it for the last few weeks non stop but i suddenly lost everything, I play between my phone and my iPhone and I was so far in I can’t be bothered starting over. Pretty disappointed over that.
Glitch encountered
Game is nostalgic and wonderful but it keeps freezing on “autosaving” once you obtain 20 scary essence per required task. Can’t get past it and it results in me having to delete the app and restart just to face the same issue.
