I am still altering some of my comments. My book is 123 pages and about 800 pictures. Easily added comments
Too glitchy
I tried putting together a book via the website and it was so glitchy that I gave up. Then I downloaded the app and it would not let me sign in and when I tried to start another account, it said I already had an account. I give up.
ADD QR CODES FOR VIDEOS
I love the ease of this app and the different templates! Excited to receive my first books. Only thing I wish was possible— QR CODES FOR VIDEOS! I typically have more video moments than photos. How cool would it be for my children, 20 years from now, to have and be able to download videos of their parents when they were young! Especially now that we don’t have VHS or DVDS anymore ?
Doesn’t recognize all photos
App will not recognize recent photos in your phone. In fact it misses a lot of photos. Not worth the trouble. Have ordered from them before and the items are good but there’s a bug in there that prevents the app from seeing all your pictures.
Great company, not so great app
I started putting together a photo book for my oldest child on the computer and mixbook was SO user friendly and intuitive. I got everything exactly as I wanted it quickly and easily. I thought I would try to start putting a book together for my younger two on my phone and it’s been such a headache trying to get the simplest tasks done (like zooming in and out on pictures) not to mention weird glitches where photos go in weird places you didn’t want them to go. It feels very buggy and I think I’m just going to stick to the pc version, it’s much easier.
Best PHOTO Book Creator Ever
I am currently working on my 3rd photo book ever since I discovered this app on Facebook after I got married. I can promise you the time we spent in putting our wedding album together out of all the photos, not just from the photographer, but from all of our guest, brought us such joy to us. I am now hooked on making books for all the special occasions. They have easy templates that you can follow, but you can also make changes as you go. It also has easy adjustment guides for placing the photos lots of premade stickers and backgrounds to choose from. Just completed/ordered my son’s photo book starting from his preK graduation thru College. Our third book that I’m currently working on is just everyday moments taken from all of our cell phone snapshots for the last five years. I consider these books as keepsakes that my children will be able to show their children one day. 5⭐️
Randomly chooses not to show all photos available
The application, at least on mobile occasionally decides that photos aren’t good enough and won’t let you add them, it won’t even show them as an option to add

Overall the program is nice. I wish every time you made it change you didn’t have to go back and start all over with the pictures and then file down through all of them to find where you were working. I wish you could have a memory to stay where you were working.
Disappointed
I spent my time organizing my photos. Then at the end when I am ready to pay and send my order, only I found out that they don’t accept PO Box. All our mails/Parcels in Banff goes to Main station Post Office, unless send it by UPS then direct to our house address. I have to put both P.O. Box and house address just in case, but they won’t accept it.
$600 for a 180 page book!
App is pretty user friendly and quality good but the prices are very expensive. I know it’s a long book but $600 for a photobook is crazy

Awesome books with lots of options
These books can be beautiful. They just take a lot of time sizing and organizing each page. Sometimes it’s frustrating moving pictures around. But overall I love the books. They are a visual novel of our days.
Photo Upload Issues
I made a book last year and had no issues uploading photos. It was a bit annoying/finicky trying to add photos to pages, resize photos, etc. so it took way longer than it should have, but overall, the app was usable. Trying to make a book now and the photos are not uploading. I’ve tried several times and upload progress just remains at 0.
Good cover and colors, but very poor page quality
The hardcover and color rendering are good. Unfortunately, the actual photo pages — which are the whole point of a photo book — were very disappointing. The standard matte paper looks and feels cheap, with a rough grainy texture. Blacks appear gray, contrast is weak, and fine details look soft and slightly blurred compared to normal photo prints (even basic pharmacy matte prints look much better). The result does not resemble true photo paper at all. Customer service did provide a fair resolution, which I appreciated. Still, I would strongly recommend choosing the highest-quality paper option if you care about image quality, otherwise the photos may not meet expectations.

CRASHING!!
I have tried to do my sons book twice now. I get all the pictures needed and it crashes and erases all of the selected photos. Fixxxxx it!
Good in the main
Easy to use, even on phone. Pretty intuitive. Freezes sometimes.
Over priced & poor quality
Spent $200 on a Christmas gift. When it arrived there were multiple printing issues. You are better off using literally any other photo book company. They around the same price but the quality is much better.
Crashes
Other than crashing which makes me have to find my place again, it is a good app for photo book design. Please fix!

Dodgy Customer Service
These folks promoted “100% happiness guarantee” and “we mean it!”. Didn’t come close in my case. Greatly disappointed in evasive customer service.
Looks good
I have only just downloaded this app but it looks good from my initial observations. The one thing that I really like is that the app groups photos together for ease of finding them. It says you have the option to change the title of each grouping but nothing happens when I click on the “rename” button! This would make my life a lot easier if it worked!!
Apple Pay not working
Went through the whole process and an Apple Pay does not work. That's an no go for me

This program is not easy for me to use. I am too far into it now, but I wish I had looked at more photo book app options.

Not letting me order after spending over an hour trying to create a photobook.

Very expensive for such a small photo album. I was expecting it to be thicker. A lot of the photos came out blurry
Mix book
I have completed a book on your app however I did not find it very user friendly. If anything it was very frustrating. I attempted to discard the project several times but really wanted this book to give as a gift so kept it going Even my daughter said it’s very complicated to use this app from phone Suggestions. Have a chat or instant help button; have some more directions; downloading pictures from several albums is not that user friendly I did not receive an email confirmation of my order and was supposed to receive a digital copy of my book within five minutes of placing my order but I have not received it yet I’m the end the book looks good from the preview (not without a lot of patience lol). Hopefully the hard copy is what I’m hoping for
Wedding book
We chose Mixbook because their app was incredibly easy to use, and the whole process of creating our wedding book felt simple and intuitive. The design tools made it easy to organize photos and customize the layout exactly how we wanted. We were also really impressed with the final quality — the photos printed beautifully and the book feels very well made. It turned out to be such a special keepsake from our wedding. Highly recommend Mixbook to anyone looking to create a photo book. We’re extremely happy with how ours turned out.
What an epic waste of time
Uploading more than five photos to create a photo book? Do yourself a favor and hard pass on this garbage. That is unless you enjoy a wasteful and frustrating experience getting nowhere fast and ending up with an app that permanently crashes.
App is ok but orders are hit or miss
I’ve ordered several things from this place over the years and about half have arrived damaged. You have to immediately take pics and report them but it’s very much a hassle and very much disappointing.
Questions!
The app works okay but I was wondering a few things! Is there a way to upload your own fonts? I know there is some to choose from but I would love if there was a way to choose some of your own fonts, i made my handwriting into a font so being able to upload that would be really great! Also is there a way to pick the colours you use with the dropper tool? This would be really great. The last thing is that the tool for making a large 8x11 book seems to not be working as every time I click it it reverts to the square, if this bug could be fixed that would be great, thanks!
Easy to use for photo uploads
Love that I can upload photos from my phone. It’s easier than having to download them on my computer.
Waste of my time.
Wouldn’t upload my pictures even when I tried one at a time, kept freezing or just showing a blank screen. Wouldn’t let me find my photos in my library to try and upload either.
It keeps crashing
The app makes impossible for me to finish my project. I’m trying to finish a couple pages so that I can place the order tonight but it’s been crashing since an hour ago. It’s frustrating!

Fatal App Flaw- unable to view actual albums
This app came up as a top rated app and I was very interested in trying it out for our Europe trip during spring break. Unfortunately, the app is not able to show the albums created and since I have a LOT of photos it just doesn’t make sense to even attempt to make a photo album when I have to go thru my entire photo library to select photos vs select the album I have already created. This is a fatal flaw with this app as many other photo album apps allow and provide access to view created photo albums within the photos app- making creating a photo album easy. Not being able to access already created albums is short sighted and makes it difficult to move forward with creating a photo album. I spoke with their customer service team who agreed that at this time this ability is not present. I hope they release an update allowing this access soon as I would love to try to create a memorable album eventually.

Incredible UX but poor quality
The software / user interface is probably the best I’ve come across for photo book applications. So this is amazing if you want a quick and easy end product Unfortunately the quality on the prints is so poor that if you’re taking photos on anything more advanced than an iPhone you’ll probably be disappointed

Poor Quality
For $82 I expected a higher quality print. Cover feels like it’s gonna fall apart. Binding seems to be cardboard. Pages don’t look like they are high quality prints either
Horrible
Horrible experience. I was happy and excited at first I found the theme I like and I made my book. I read very clear before I made the book and screenshot the pricing to show my friend but later on after I made the book after I put it into the cart , the price has changed. And it change every time I refresh the page. Getting higher and higher. Talk to the customer service is a waste of time. It’s a complete fraud. Not recommend at all.
