Caption on back of photos
When adding the caption it does not transfer over to when adding the photos into the cart to be printed.
Easy and quick buttons
I needed to make 5 tennis sports buttons from my daughter’s tennis pictures for family. Shutterfly had the templates and it was easy to upload the pics. Took me 10 minutes. Done! Expected delivery date is in two weeks, but in my experience, it is quicker than that. At least, I hope that’s still the case with the buttons.

I only received 40 photos of the body without a head. I'd like to know if the photos are incomplete; most of them have defects, or are missing a foot or head. It's a bad experience.
Photobook
Shutterfly offers excellent service and high quality products. I gave four stars because the Canadian website is not connected to the U.S. website. They operate as two separate stores. I did not realize this at first and made a book on the U.S. site. When I reached checkout, I noticed the pricing was in U.S. dollars, so I switched to the Canadian site, but my project was not transferred. Additionally, the app is only available for use in the United States, and the promo codes only apply in the US website. Any purchases made through it are charged in U.S. dollars.
Update no good
The latest update is really annoying. Super slow, can no longer upload directly to an album and the upload button doesn’t show up half the time. Wish you’d go back- it worked fine before.
Canadian Not Happy
Due to the fact I’m in Canada, I wasn’t able to use any Promo codes and I tried 3 promo codes. Not happy after also having to pay the high exchange rate- most likely won’t return and go local next time. 😡

Expensive shipping
Great concept but the shipping to Australia is astronomical Amber this makes the whole process pointless. Better to go local.

I have created several photo projects through Shutterfly and have never been disappointed! The quality is excellent!! I took advantage of the free 6x6 photo books (one each month) when they had them, but the $9.99 price is worth it too (especially if you watch for their free shipping specials). The process is easy — it takes me a long while because I prefer to do every single page myself. But you can auto fill the pages to make a quick book. I highly recommend Shutterfly!!!
MY PICTURES
I want my pictures back to print separately from the album you poorly produced for me at an extremely expensive rate!! I want my album redone as every single picture is blurry and I submitted CLEAR pictures. I was promised that Shutterfly would redo my album but when I resubmitted you are now charging THREE times what i originally was charged!! Shutterfly is what people and AI states it is a ripoff!!

App glitchy
Really frustrating experience trying to use this app to put photos into projects, and swap photos out. Kept freezing and glitching.

Great and easy to use design for editing beautiful books, plaques etc. Unfortunately not able to continue using with the very expensive shipping cost to Australia! Much more than the products themselves. And then to discover the cost shown (though not transparent) is USD which is another shock when even higher cost comes on bank statement in AUD.

Problematic
Every picture I put into my photo book from my photos library says it is low resolution.it does this for current ones or ones from a year ago. Never had this problem before and I have made 54 books, calendars, etc.
Easy to use, however
The Shutterfly app was easy to use for the most part. However, every time I made a change, it asked if I wanted a new version or use the current version and it got pretty annoying. Other than that, it was great.
Get u somewhere, always last min charges
Free photos with $15 shipping - they always get you somewhere and make it impossible or your whole nights time to figure out just how much something will cost in the end so you put in all the work to order and just decide after so much work and so expensive to fork it over anyway
Expensive postage to Australia
It’s a shame that it costs so much, it doubles the price. Can you not use an Australian company to process your orders from Australia. It would make your products much better value and more attractive to customers.

This app is truly the perfect way to make your memories even more memorable by making blankets and other items with photos of all of your loving families in them, as well as create some makeshift Anime merchandise by creating Anime Keychains and so on. Expensive
Thought everything was going fine, was pretty annoying uploading 50 at a time when my complete order was over 500 photos. But when I got to checkout saw they were charging over double their competitors… with “Costco” pricing was still over $170… didn’t even want to see what the shipping was going to be.
A couple of issues, but mostly good!
I loved being able to make my own pages, but a,so to see the suggestions in case theirs looked better. The “Crop” function often stopped working and I had to shut down the app to make it work again. I didn’t like that I couldn’t go back and edit the beginning of my typing after I’d finished it - you have to delete the whole passage and start again. Other than these issues, I had fun making my book and I’m excited to see the finished product!
Shutterfly update not done
App says time to update. iPad has iOS 12.5.5. Update requires iOS 13. So I couldn’t update. Also I cannot go inside the app to see photos as it prompts me “time to update” & not opening the app. Kindly look into it.
The prints
The good thing about this is that the photos case in earlier than they were expected but the downfall of this was that despite cropping the photos to what I wanted, so many of my photos were wasted and I paid $127 for it. Only a handful of photos turned out the way I wanted them to so this was a bit disappointing
Great way to preserve memories
Such an easy way to put your memories into a book! The app makes it easy to upload while you let Shutterfly do all the work. Great quality and fun to share with others.
Canada Costco customers beware
With the Costco printing centre closed, we were encouraged to use Shutterfly, told that the pictures were still printed locally – and at a comparable rate. I just spent three hours, selecting photos and uploading them only to be told that it is $80 in shipping. 4x6 it’s the only size they will ship to store, and they still charge you international shipping. So disappointed in Costco and this move.
US vs Can
I like the products and creativity on the US Shutterfly site (better than Can Shutterfly site). However shipping to Canada is outrageous per item to the same address. Reduced my order for this reason.

Not as user friendly as I expected
I had problems with the program not saving my work and I ended up having to redo many times before I finally got my project finished. Although I had selected font style and font size, each time I went back to do more the program had reverted back to a different font and size. I also had problems getting my saved projects to actually open. Finished product however was something that I was very happy with.

The quality and range of products is excellent. I’ve been happy with every product I’ve ordered from them. Unfortunately International shipping costs are astronomically high.
UK shipping is absurdly overpriced
$30 for UK shipping, and they won’t tell you that until you check out. The app is fine but use something else because that price is ridiculous.

Shipping Prices are ridiculous
I’ve never seen shipping prices so high in my life, my word. And I grew up in Bermuda where we were smack in the middle of the ocean. Those shipping prices don’t compare to what 5 photos cost at Shutterfly. Wow. I can’t believe it.

Good customer service, expensive shipping
Good customer service and great quality. But international shipping is the same cost as the products and promo codes don’t apply. I won’t be ordering from shutterfly again unfortunately until shipping costs are more reasonable.
Could have been a five star
Easy to use. Functional. Looking forward to getting my hard copy. However, was sucked in to using this one on the promise of free shipping and freebies, like X amount of prints, etc. After spending forever on doing up my album, I got to the checkout to find out that I wouldn’t be getting either of those things. Couldn’t pull out after spending hours on my project. Very disappointed about that, otherwise it was great.
