Great app with one glaring omission
As a professional photographer that wants to be able to get usable shots from my phone in a pinch, I truly appreciate the well-implemented real time white balance adjustment, light meter and exposure bracketing. But I would not have purchased it had I known it lacked the option to shoot in 2:3 aspect ratio (as all professionals who shoot in 35mm/full frame format are accustomed to). I can’t use it as-is, but it would be a 5-Star/Go-to app with this simple update.
Finally, a real app for pros
As a professional photographer using pro gear for many years, I have switched to mobile photography for a challenge and to prove hardware is only part of the equation when photographing any subject. In my testing of the highest rated and highest downloaded apps for professional manual operation and overall ease of use and performance, I found this hidden gem! This is currently my go-to app that won’t disappoint me. When I set the available setting for 48Mp, it stays put where others fail and switch back in your shot. The sliders are easier to use and the settings a professional would expect given some limitations from Apple makes your workflow quicker and easier. You get real RAW and the UI is great! I’m looking forward to even more features currently in review by the developer.
Missing Pinch Zoom
I previously owned ProCam before it was changed to Modus. The older app was much better with accessibility options and ease of use. I had submitted a suggestion and had spoken with someone to explain the reason; but never received follow-up nor an update over a month later.
Macro Shots
I like the app, but if you added macro shot support for iPhones that do not have the macro mode feature, it would be amazing.
Not saving RAW files
I have read instruction saying that Raw files are saved on the Modus app, but when I tap on icon, there are no images to be seen.
Freezing on capture
This app would be very good except that on my IPhone 17 Pro it randomly freezes , possibly just when I’m shooting 48mp ProRaw, but then that’s what I want it for
Thank you Ashutosh! 😃
Outstanding pro/manual camera app. Upfront about not being free and upgrade is a very reasonable one-time purchase. I mainly just needed a camera app that would let me choose which lens to use so I could attach a Buschnell scope (Apple’s Camera app for some reason auto-selects whichever lens is covered by the clip!). Before I found this app I downloaded about 10 pro/manual camera apps that are “Free” in the App Store only to discover they require ridiculously expensive auto-recurring subscriptions. This app’s description begins with a disclaimer that it’s not free — I appreciate that so much — and at the time of writing this only cost about $6 USD (lifetime purchase, the other apps which weren’t even as good wanted up to $30/month!). This app provides almost complete if not absolutely complete control over every possible manual camera setting as well. It has an intuitive interface and an excellent quick intro tutorial. Looking through comments developer seems very responsive to making enhancements. I am so grateful for this developer for making such a such a high quality app, being honest about its cost, and not charging an arm and a leg for something that I probably only need a few times a year. Thank you Ashutosh!
Wrong app
Researched ProCam – the other one that’s the more well-known one and better app – quite a bit. Then eventually came back and purchased it… Or thought I did. Apparently someone else decided to name their app Pro Cam as well. Well, you got my money and you’re getting a one star. Come up with a different name. I checked your reviews and their reviews and saw that they are much older than you. You had to have researched other camera apps and saw that there was a pro Cam app. Possibly even purposely named yours after theirs.
Very cool

Mid
Got this app because Apple forced my pictures to be 12 mp even when on 48 mp mode. Tried taking a picture of the night sky. Instead of a low shutter speed, the app decided to use a 1/15 shutter speed and 12500 iso. I have never seen a photo this noisy. Still somehow came out blurry.
Great app, now it’s broken
The app was working great until the latest update and now there is no camera display on the screen; just a grey screen. Quitting the app and toggling various settings doesn’t do anything.
Me
Just got this today and not quite sure what I’m doing yet. But you can try it out for free and everything seems to be really accessible and simple
GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!YOUR APP DOES NOT WORK!
Give me my money back! I paid for your app a few days and the manual control doesn’t work! The locked in values do not show in the info of the photos. Then it won’t let me take another picture as it just run in circles. Give me my money back!!!
Me gusto
No es tanto pero si esta buena
Motorsport photography
I typically take photos at 1/160th or slower for motorsport photography. I find it impossible to adjust the exposure correctly on some lenses or situations and get a valuable shot. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I have produced some perfect shots with app as slow shutter speeds but I’m not able to set it up consistently. Any tips from the app developer?
The perfect RAW photo option
I have an iPhone 15, standard edition, so my phone is unable to use the RAW photo settings that are accessible to Pro and Pro Plus iPhone models. I take a ton of photos of products, and it’s necessary for me to be able to utilize the camera on my iPhone to take the best product photos that I’m able to on an iPhone. The best photos are RAW photos, honestly I have no idea why or really what RAW means other than a direct translation. I tried several other pro versions of 3rd party camera apps that allow RAW photos to be taken but they all lacked one small feature or another, were not easy to use, were unreliable and charged $10+ each month if not each week. Pro Cam offers all the capability of these higher value camera apps and more and does so in a manor that a non-photographer can understand all for under $10 for a lifetime pass. This, these types of apps are what the App Store used to be full of before everybody realized they could pay weekly for an Ai app that makes them sound and or appear as if they aren’t the idiot they actually are. Thanks ProCam for keeping it real.
I like the price and it a great app!
I really appreciate how it’s not subscription based and it is just a one time purchase to support the developer.
Not worth anything
Don’t waste time installing this.
Nice App
Worth to install. Just issue is that I can’t select custom values for iso, shutter etc. scrolling is too small. I wish this should’ve UI as simple and effective as ProMovie app.

This is The Best App I Have Used!
So, I was searching for an app that could help me. My camera only zooms to 5x and I wanted more to do so I downloaded this app. Didn’t think too much until, easy steps to use WOW! Then I saw the range 20x NO WAY. I was in shock my iPhone is an 11 I was literally wow. But pointing out that I want to record in these please!
Not working
Won’t take pictures
Awesome app
I would like the developers to add the feature of intervalometer. Thats it. Nothing else needed. Then it will be a complete app.
NOT full manual
No way to select a different depth of field since each lens has a fixed f-stop. Wish I had noticed that before now I can’t a refund!
Cannot set manual mode
Getting the app into manual mode is nearly impossible. There are no instructions. I happened to accidentally do it by swiping up from the bottom but I have only been able to do it about once in 50 times.

Excelente app

Good
I like this app. It’s great to have an exposure meter. Please make the interface fully compatible with landscape orientation. Most of the controls and meter stay in portrait orientation even when the phone is held sideways. This makes things difficult.
Duda
Best camera app comparing dozens.
Best camera app so far. Great price. Out-performs Apples camera 10 to 1. No comparison. sl24

Exposure Bracketing
After the update I really wanted to try this new feature but I think it still has some limitations. I tried to take some pictures with the exposure bracketing but the app shut down instantly. Please fix this and give us stable update.

works kinda well, but not made for ipad, and opens in small screen, also the view turns together with device which is annouing
Great Photo Captures
Almost as good as my Nikon Caneras Very easy to use and I am using my I Phne camera more
Waste of money for me
Waste of money dont buy
Finally…
Nice. Really like how the images look the same before and after taken unlike all the other apps including the native ios app, especially in low light where they do it the most. So please don't change that. Only issue is no front flash. Then would be 5 stars. Volume button capture would nice too.
Problem
The control buttons do not fit into the desktop. iPhone 15 pro max.
Nice but no long exposure option
Maybe I am missing something here but when I try to manually set the exposure to something like 10 or 15 seconds it wont let me. It seems like the slowest it will go is about 1/15
